We offer car parking in advance for different lengths of stay. Our pricing is dynamic and continually changes based on many different factors such as demand, occupancy and lead time making it possible for the pricing to change from booking to booking.
As our parking does not have a fixed rate (unless you roll-up, which is considerably more expensive that pre-booked) that means it's dynamic and can change based on the factors stated. Our pricing structure and calculation method is not dissimilar to that of many other businesses and airports.

“Unfortunately the car park was very busy resulting us having to park at the furthest away point, it was not ideal as I currently have a mobility issue, also not pleasant in the cold and rain.”

Thanks for your review. I understand the annoyance of ending up parked at the back of a car park but unfortunately, there's little we can do to avoid this.
You mention you have a mobility issue and I would encourage you to make use of our disabled parking bays in future (which are located further into the car park), if you have a blue badge.

Plane Parking is a facility which is serviced by a shuttle but and loops the campus continuously. The shuttle bus enters Plane Parking approx. every 15 minutes.

“We booked into the long stay car park. Nothing wrong with the parking process, that was fine. Website does say walk to terminal, although parking lot has shuttle bus signs etc, albeit suspended. On both days we were there it was dry, but I hate to think what the walk would have been like in the rain. Walking route is very poorly signposted out of the car park and also feels unsafe with the temporary barriers across car parking routes often misaligned. It was daylight when we did the walk; goodness knows what it would have been like in the dark. The walking route in the car park area is very rough, would not have been easy with a lot of baggage. Either reinstate the shuttle bus or install a permanent signed lighted covered smooth walkway out of the car park”

“There was a shortage of bus stops in the carpark resulting in having to walk a distance to the nearest stop. The signage leaving the airport terminal is poor resulting in difficulty locating the bus.”
“Be careful on approach to the car park, we took a wrong turn and ended up driving through the drop-off lane by mistake which cost us £5. It was also quite difficult to find a space in the terminal surface parking area. The spaces are quite small for modern family cars. I wouldn't recommend entering the postcode into your sat-nav unless you want to end up in a housing estate on the other side of the airport perimeter fence. Otherwise, it's a car park, quite expensive, but at least close to the airport.”

“Easy to find, seamless entry. After retrieving keys, scanned barcode on pre paid receipt but would not let me out. Assistance advised to take a new ticket and would resolve at final exit barrier. No where to be seen and had to pay additional £6 to depart car park. At 1.30am, did not need this hassle”

“I regularly use the Fast Track parking and rarely have any issues. However on my return on 17th Oct after a long flight I picked up my keys and was told that the vehicle was parked in bay B44. On reaching that or wasn’t my car in the bay. However we were helped on the way back with a very helpful attendant who after a few attempts found our car in D44. It would help if either the handwriting was better or better care was made when parking the cars. It’s not what you need when picking a car up.”

“A decent price and product but the spaces need to be much bigger. Upon return we were parked next to a Range Rover. Thankfully there wasn't anyone parked on the passenger side as my wife ended up having to climb over to the driver's side to get in and move it to load up the suitcases. Had there been vehicles parked on both sides I doubt we'd have managed to get the car out at all. A major flaw in an otherwise seamless process.”

“Dropping off was great but at 2.30 ish on the morning trying to find your car with only half the spaces in section F marked meant if you picked the wrong side you have no chance. Will use again now that I know but for a first timer not great.”

“Everything went very well until leaving when I put my ticket in the exit barrier and the machine tried to charge me £170! Despite me paying for my parking several days before my trip with all necessary information provided like numberplate for identification. It really did panic me for a moment. I pressed the buzzer, told a member of staff who didn’t apologise, didn’t even answer me just remotely opened the barrier. How many people does this happen to??”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Very expensive - even the long stay. No bus from long stay anymore - it's quite the walk in the rain over an uneven surface. Even if you purchase a ticket in advance for the multi-story it doesn't seem to guarantee an actual space to park in. Another area of concern is the road between the car park and the main road - can take an extremely long time to get on your way.”

The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them.
The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations.

“I use the parking lot many times, the camera does not read the registration and when leaving the machine charges a huge price and you have to call the security guard every time when entering and leaving the parking”

“It was dark when we arrived and we were in section H. We didn’t find it obvious where the footpath to the airport was. It is quite a walk to the terminal and the surface is not smooth for wheeling suitcases”

“The parking is actually very good but on this occasion my car settings were all to pot. I do t mind a little bit but even the climate, seat & wheel heating settings, mirrors were a long way from mine. Why would they need to change climate etc to park it a half mile away ??”
