Used the FASTPark parking for the first time on this trip. Drop off was fine and it was easy to follow the instructions to deposit the keys etc. The collection of my car keys was easy also but my car was parked quite a long distance away - A51, not great especially with a few pieces of luggage. FASTPark said (Decribe their service) my vehicle would be parked in a departure lane ready to go? It wasn't, it was parked further away than I would have parked it on the surface car park right next to the terminal. Dissapointing ! I don't see any real benefit of FastPark Vs normal surface car parking, normal surface parking would have been better. FastPark doesn't follow through on what it promises.

Have used car park several times always pre-paying in avance. On this occasion when presenting my ticket on departure, it didn’t work and said I had an outstanding amount of £406. I had to use the intercom to explain before I was asked to re- enter my ticket before I was able to leave. Not what you want when returning from a trip.

Although I had pre booked at the mid stay car park. The exit barrier did not recognise that fact and tried to charge me £515. Only after a lengthy response from the intercom was the issue resolved

I have used this carpark several times now with the same issue reoccurring when leaving the carpark. The cameras at barriers does not recognise my registration and requests an extremely expensive charge, although I had prepaid at time of booking. Everytime, I have to press call assistance and go through a series of questions in order to get out of carpark, most recent being Friday 6th October when the rain was extremely heavy and we were all soaked through as a result of having to walk from the terminal to the car park, not to mention the additional drenching through the opened driver window I received whilst at the barrier attempting to leave.

Parking was convenient, easy to access and in good distance to terminal. Only downside to the experience was my car being hit by another vehicle with no note left from the driver.

Despite prepaying, I was asked to pay on exit which was alarming and stressful. Thankfully it was resolved but it shouldn’t happen with number plate recognition.

Parking was easy car pick up was easy unfortunately i was charged £6 for exceeding my time even though i picked up my car a hour before my time stated on my booking ??

After I paid £30 to book a parking place , when I took back the car I should pay another £65.....definitely not recomande to use it ... better go direct to parking lot and find a place to parking cause' whatnot you take back the car they will charge you the same in this case could save £30

Second time using the service & it was totally different to the first visit. Exiting proved difficult- long wait for call to be answered to be told to request a ticket to exit - didn’t work at the second barrier which demanded payment to leave & another wait to be answered to get out of the car park. First time round zero issues, this time not so much.

Location is fantastic and got parked near terminal. It’s really close and would use it again. However, my reg didn’t open the barrier so buzzed and was told just to take the ticket and go in. Came back from holiday and the ticket when put in the machine said £180 to pay??? Busmzzed again and was told it was sorted and just to drive out but not great…

I booked and paid for two weeks of parking online. When I tried to exit, the gate wouldn't open - a charge for £350 was being requested to allow me to exit. It took a while to sort out and as only one exit lane was working, the bus was stuck behind me. No apology either.

Poorly laid out pathway to airport, puddles of water to go through, cases and shoes getting wet.

The actual parking was fine and very convenient for the terminal I did not like the walk from the car to the terminal building as it was raining and I got quite wet,may be okay on a good day but hey this is Edinburgh, I much preferred a shuttle bus

My car broke down on the way to the airport so that I could not actually use the parking facility booked. I was then disappointed to learn that I could not cancel the booking for a refund (although the booking I had chosen was entitled "Multi-Storey Refundable") as this was only possible for cancellations 24 hours before the start of the parking booked.

If you are in your seventies the fifteen minute walk in driving rain and wind to the Long Term Car Park is not what you want after a long journey. Bring back the buses.

I found the signs for the terminal multi storey car park very poor. In fact we got lost a couple of times! The final sign that seems to be the poorest is the one that indicates the car park entry itself. The sign is very small and worn and the road it indicates looks like it doesn’t go anywhere. Perhaps someone should try to negotiate the access and exits to give an idea as to how confusing it is? The parking itself was safe and secure and exiting the car park was straightforward but the exit from the airport onto the main road going right was not great either.
