My experience was awful-I have complained separately. I had never used the parking before..drew up to the barrier -wouldn't open and confirmed with the attendant (after giving my registration and booking details) that I was in the right place. He confirmed I was -when I returned I discovered that I was in the short term and had to pay £££-at 2.00 am with a drive back to Glasgow , I paid so that I could get home. I see from reading the reviews that my experience isn't a one-off. This shouldn't have happened with all the ID confirmation I gave.

The experience of walking to the long stay car park from the airport dragging our case behind us was terrible. Poor signposting almost zero directions terrible surface to walk on. It took us an age to find our way to our car an overall awful experience and one we will not be repeating. We have used this car park in the past using the shuttle bus, this was a far greater service then.

My car was thick with dust on my return, don’t know where it was taken after I dropped it off but I was very disappointed on the condition it was in when I picked it up. The staff very very helpful and friendly on drop off and return.

We booked the Plane Parking specifically so we could leave our electric car to charge while we were on holiday to come back to a full car. We live three hours from the airport so this is very important to us. There were around 20 chargers and around 65% of them didn't work. Some cars were plugged in, some were charging and others were not. We called the number provided for some assistance. The person on the phone said there has been issues with the chargers for 3-4 months and that some of the chargers hadn't been used in a long time because of this. After around 45 minutes of trying different things while on the phone, we had to abandon it and park in a normal space to go and catch our flight. This resulted in us needing to stop for an hour on the way home to charge our car at 1am! Very disappointed service from Edinburgh airport parking. I was also interested to learn that some people that worked there were bringing customer cars from elsewhere to charge them (they weren't able to) which didn't seem right to me. The car park had a huge number of cars so I imagine that we wouldn't have been able get a space if the chargers had been working. I won't be using Plane Parking again. I've sent in a complaint and haven't had a response. The only positive is that the shuttle bus to the airport runs very often and takes about 5 mins.

I have used this parking every time I fly and had a good experience but this time I don't think my car had been moved since I left it . It was the only car covered in moisture !! The key to the car wasn't working and 5here was no one around to help, they were all helping people come to book there car in.

It is unclear on how you are meant to walk to the departure lounge, I walked along the roadside but on my return I think I saw a different route which was likely faster? Clearer signage would help. I went to a payment machine and it wasn't working and had a mouldy mango on top of it and mcdonalds rubbish, could do with a tidy up!

Travel every week on business and each week embarrassed by the poor state of multi story. If it were not for the proximity of the multi story would never use it. Just poorly maintained….

Parked my car and returned back to a plenty of scratches on my car and also a big massive key scratch , when I contacted you guys you said you don’t have cctv cover the whole parking so you only good to take money not protect the car Joke

"Fast Track" Poor signage rude staff and slower than Normal track! I Purchased parking to get the Fast Track option for my Family or our get away, Issue number one parking includes only 5 Fast track Passes we are a family of 6. Second the signage is poor, you had no end of issues getting to the righ queue as from the carpark you arrive in the middel of a already progressing queue which was not but then was the correct queue. Our parking pass QR Code did not work for the Automatich gates as the fast track was not on our boarding pass, so that ment talking to a rude and unhelpful member of staff and rejoining another queue. all the while Carrying bags for 4 kids including a child under 5 and a Special needs kid.

I had prepaid but when I put my ticket in the machine at the barrier when leaving it said I had an outstanding payment due of £235! thankfully the support person over the intercom was able to help but this should not have happened

I originally booked through the website at a reduced cost of £72.99 for a week, when I went to pay the system crashed. I tried to contact by e mail and it took over 10 days to get a response which was 'oh it must have been your fault, you must have lost your internet'. Despite producing a screenshot of the booking nobody honoured the charge. I then had to pay £89.99 due to the length of time the customer services took to respond to my complaint. Then on departure of the car park, they wanted to charge me £320 to exit !!! A absolute joke, the last tme I will fly from Edinburgh.

Disappointed airport camera didn’t recognise my number plate given I’d booked for 1 week stay 3rd-10th August for £129.99 but when I exited the carpark, the system was looking for £455. I had to use phone system and spoke to operator, gave my registration plate and after a short delay, gate was opened. This shouldn’t happen with camera recognition systems.

I pre-booked and pre-paid one week's parking on 22nd October 2024 and on 9th August 2025 tried to exit the parking area and the machine stated that I was due £500 to get out. I tried it several times and each time was the same, with the machine keeping the ticket after 3 attempts. I then phoned the assistant and told him I had pre-paid and what my car registration number was, and he said it was not on the system, and I would have to pay £500 to get out. I told him I had paid, and since Edinburgh had just lost my suitcase, I was in no mood for any argument. Having had a similar problem the previous year, I had a copy of their receipt in my hand luggage, which I retrieved an started to read from it, Suddenly, with no explanation, the barrier opened and and I was allowed to exit. I am not impressed with their "service"

Payed nearly £100 to park for 7 days which already is outrageous, then not only that but on exit the machine tried to charge my £265!! (I left on time) This isn't the first time I've had issues with it. When j went to drop my girlfriend off one time I couldn't pay for my ticket at the payment point and when I went to the barrier it rejected it again then the ticket blew away meaning I had to call someone! Not happy!

For the second time running it seems that the ANPR cameras are completely unreliable. On both occasions the payment station said that I owed £125 pounds despite the fact that I had prepaid. The matter was resolved by the chap at the other end of the telecom but surely Edinburgh Airport can do better than this. It's not as if the parking is cheap and they don't have any money coming in.

Prebooked Long stay but Car Reg not recognised by ANPR, so pull up to exit and get charged full whack for the day. Lodged a complaint for refund and no response. Disappointing sort your cameras out...
