“It didn't really. We booked the new parking supposedly speedy assisted parking arrangement because it was cheaper than the do it yourself rate.
In practice this took longer than if we had just found a parking spot ourselves. It was too complicated with too many steps (speaking to an agent, finding the right lane, getting a ticket from the office, going back to the office, finding your car again) and offers no benefit to the customer, other than the reduced cost which I'm sure is only a temporary measure to hook people in.”
“Not happy exactly!! We have used your car park several times now and every time without fail we have a problem when leaving!! We then have the hassle of having to call for help and explain that the ticket is not working and we are spoken to as if we are idiots!!”
“First time users: On arrival the gentleman was very nice. I asked what the procedure was on our return. He explained that when we return our car will be waiting over at the bus stop. Our return arrival time was a late flight, 1am. We got off at the bus stop in the car park. It was quite dark and we couldn't see our car, not being familiar with the procedure we walked about with our cases looking for the car. Once we spotted the car a gentleman approached us and told us we need to go over to the office to retrieve our keys. We are to inspect the car before we leave. However this was very difficult as the lighting was very poor. Once I was in my car (I am the driver) my seat have been moved, this was very annoying as it took some time before I felt comfortable. The switches and knobs had been messed about with in the car and I was unsure what was what. We headed to the exit only to be prevented on leaving, the barrier would not lift so we had to wait until that was sorted. Once on the road I had to stop because I was being flashed at due to having no lights on. Normally, I enter my car press the button (ignition) and I am on my way. We finally got home very late. I think the men driving the cars should familiarize themselves with the model of the car that they are to drive. I also think they should ask the driver if they mind the seat being moved. I think you will find there are many drivers will find moving their seats very annoying.”
“Express service good for arrival no different for return. Good service. Poor bus service compared to other nearby parks. Used this 3 times now and don’t think I will again on account of the bus-each time the driver says the next one will be here in 2 minutes. It never is. More like 10. Not a horrendous wait by any means, but all the same not equal lying the performance of nearby parks”
“Used long stay express. Car wasn't ready on my return due to an issue with the tablets when I checked in however my car was brought over to the check out area within 15 mins and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.”
“Easily found within airport. Ease of access with licence plate recognition and gateways were easy to operate when exiting.
Many of the pedestrian walkways near the terminal were obstructed by taxi cabs dropping off or queuing to collect fares. My family and I were forced to wait in the pedestrian walkways on cabs loading their passengers or dropping off passengers. At one point my wife, kids and I were forced onto roadway because multiple taxi cabs were parked on pedestrian walkways. These walkways are easily identified for pedestrian use only but cabs flaunted their disregard for their use.”
“Good, because it is in front of the terminal, but poor because numberplate recognition doesn't work when you arrive so you have to take a ticket which then creates problems when you leave! Also poor, because, in spite of having booked months in advance, there were no vacant parking places on my arrival at 7.00am on 26 June. I therefore had to park 'creatively' which is not ideal.”
