“A good parking option, but not very user-friendly. It's a long walk from the more distant parking spaces to the 'departures' walkway to the airport, and this is poorly sign-posted. It's not suitable for people with minor mobility issues. It would be an unpleasant experience at night, and in poor weather. The walkway feels like a 'stop gap' arrangement, and there is definitely room for a LOT of improvement.”

“Overall the long stay parking was convenient for me, but I had to drop my mother off at the terminal first as the walk was too far for her. This cost an extra £4 each way, and I couldn't see how to get the residents or electric vehicle discount mentioned on the website. The walkway to the terminal was not well marked and was difficult to find the first time I went. When collecting my car, the car park was very icy and didn't appear to have been gritted.”

“The size of the spaces makes it impossible to enter or exit your car easily, especially with luggage or children. The car park is obviously designed for maximum cash rather then maximum customer usability. The car park was like an ice rink, very very dangerous for cars and passengers, and not what I expected after paying a premium.”
“Booked Plane Parking the night before flying, arrived in hours of darkness, badly lit, signage unclear. Plane Parking was closed, and a small sign on the road at the barrier (some writing blanked out with duct tape) advised of closure and to go park in any of the other car parks.

“Finding the Fast Track parking can be tricky even with the instructions provided. The signage can be better all around. Once you find it, it is actually great. Fast, straight-forward process that brings you right at the terminal's doorway. The car was conveniently located on the way back and the cost was very acceptable when booked in advance.”

“Arriving at Edinburgh Airport was easy and we were met with helpful, friendly staff. The return, on the other hand, was less impressive. Directions to the FastPark were either unclear or non-existent. Furthermore, the car was parked near the opposite end of the car park - the last thing you want when you're lugging cases in the freezing cold. Next time, I'll probably use the much cheaper off-airpuort car parks.”
“Booking was easy. Printing details easy. Finding parking spot easy. When we went to leave, hey asked for £150. Had to press the bottom on the parking gate. Took an age for some one to answer. Explained had booked online and they lifted the barrier. I wouldn’t have liked to deal with it at midnight.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“I normally have good experiences with Edinburgh Airport Parking, but this stay was spoiled by the passenger footway to the airport being blocked in multiple places by cars parked outside of legitimate spaces and the horror of being told I had an unpaid balance of over £900 on a parking period I had prepaid in advance. Thankfully the attendant on the intercom was able to let us out, but the added stress when arriving home very late from international travel was very unwelcome.”
“I used FastPark for the first time and had a couple of issues on my return.
The previous user of the key return system left his key box open, which froze the screen. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong. This could be fixed if after say 30 secs of no activity an instruction flashed up asking the user to shut the box.
Also I wasn't quick enough to take note of where my car was. A member of staff found me wandering about looking for it and told me it was scribbled on the tag attached to my keys. Again an easy fix - preprint on the tag 'Your car is located at - .............' and leave a space for this to be filled in.”
“Easy drop off and helpful member of staff on flight out. Found keys with ease on return however had to pay a ticket fee to leave the airport car park area. This is after having paid in full for our secure parking.”
