Parking at airport is particularly overpriced compared to other Scottish airports. The surface car park is difficult to navigate, overflowing to the point where finding a space is incredibly difficult (despite being precooked) and it is not close to check in as sold on the website.

As happens often my pre payment was not recognised and I had to speak to an operator and give my booking number. This should almost never happen yet happens frequently.

Edinburgh Airport parking is very expensive. The access arrangements are poor and need to be upgraded. The exits should be able to take a credit card and accommodate wireless payments at the exists too.

Booked in and advance paid online with car Reg number. System did not recognise my car reg on entry and issued ticket without reg number on it. On exit, asked to pay £130! Therefor, had to get assistance to exit. Very poor system.

I could not get out of the car park despite having prepaid. The machine did not recognise my ticket and asked me to pay£45 which was more than I had paid initially.

We had to drive for about 20 minutes to find an available parking space. The shuttle stops are far away, which is a big problem on rainy weather. Overall, the parking lot is poorly managed - there are better private options which we'll use in the future.

Far too expensive for a few hours of parking, flying to attend a funeral in actual fact. We were not on business and feel ripped off bearing in mind that we could get a week’s parking for not much more than the same price. Also the walk to the terminal building was a fortuitous route and the parking itself was as close the long term as you could manage.

It cost a fortune - to park in what would anywhere else be a field

Booked at Plane Prking and took note of bus stop no 7. On return we were not informed bus stop no. Was changed to no. 4. Had to do full return trip. The driver was not helpful and did not inform of the change.

Straightforward to enter parking area but hardly any spaces left to park the car. Must have taken 10 mins to locate a space.

We've been using the Edinburgh Airport Long Stay car park for years and have been loyal customers. This time, however, I am not all-too happy. The car parking spaces appear to get smaller, cars were parked on yellow lines (out of desperation I guess) and when I returned on Tuesday afternoon, it took me almost 45 minutes to get out of the car park due to heavy congestion. I am now wondering whether the other car parking facilities closer to the main road are a much better and cheaper option.

Due to the accident with the tram, the long stay car park, that we had booked was closed, and we only found this out on arrival, even though Edinburgh Airport Parking had my email and mobile and had sent me an SMS message to remind me of my booking. When we got to the long stay car park we were told to go to the multi-storey. We got a ticket and parked the car , but were left worrying that we were going to be charged for parking our car there and there wasn't any staff easily visible. We contacted Edinburgh Airport Parking and were told to email which we did, but received no reply. We had to then call from abroad on the day we departed to find out what was happening. The telephone operator was very helpful and told us to go to the ticket office on arrival, which we did and the person there was very helpful and validated the ticket meaning no extra charge. The whole experience was poor due to a lack of communication both on the ground and especially via available channels e.g. SMS. This lead to a lot of undue stress that could have been avoided

Pre booked 6 days parking in PLANE PARKING but on my arrival found it was full with a hand written notice on the gates advising us to use the long stay car park.Went to long stay and entered, however soon found there were no parking places with cars left all over,I was unable to get an answer from the land line telephone number so I had no choice but to park in a non authorised spot.On my return to collect the car I entered my ticket into the barrier machine and was asked for EVERTHING

On arriving back at Edinburgh to collect our car there were cars abandoned all over the place out with parking spaces and even on the grass verges. A car had parked so close to ours over the white line and my wife could hardly get in the passenger seat and there was a mark on my car door on that side which had obviously been caused by the other car. Surely the car park shouldn't be so overbooked.

Turned up to the car park and circled car park several times to then be told they had over booked and we would have to attend another car park. On returning we then had to take the ticket to the ticket office for them to sort out our booking as it was telling us to pay £350 to leave the car park even though we had booked and paid before our arrival.

Clearly not enough parking spaces. Had prebooked a parking space and spent 10 minutes looking for a space and many other cars had been abandoned due to a lack of parking spaces. Customers that have already prebooked parking should get what they pay for, a parking space. Carpark should have more parking spaces and enough for prebooking customers.

I was charged an excess parking fee of £50, I did make a mistake and got my midnights mixed up. I feel £50 is an excessive amount for being overparked.I have made a compliant and so far received no reply. I'm very disappointed and certainly won't be using your car parks in future

Could not park for over an hour due to traffic at a standstill. Apparently, caused by tram/coach accident previous day. There must have been hundreds missed flights??
