“Good signposts and directions to find it. Barriers worked well on driving in and out. Easy to find a space. Buses were fairly regular at all times of night. No extra charge for flight being delayed over 2 hours.
We arrived in the dark. It was not clear where the bus stop was from where we had parked. Big signs on entry to the carpark and throughout the carpark would be useful.
Rough stony ground meant that it was nearly impossible to wheel the heavy suitcases between the bus stop and car which was quite far away.
There was not enough space for big heavy suitcases or luggage on the bus and it was lucky it was not that busy.”
“Great location for parking but last 2 times it has taken ages to find a space - have had to wait for someone to leave - not ideal if you’re in a hurry.”
“Getting in was so easy but after a perfect holiday we went to exit the car park only to be asked to pay over £200 each for the 2 cars booked It was the auto number plate recognition which had read both cars incorrectly.I checked my paperwork in case I had made a mistake but I hadn't. Fortunately the person I spoke to through the help button found our bookings and let us out, I wonder how many others have had the same problem”
Thank you for your review.
It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit and I understand the frustration that it causes.
I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

Thank you for your review.
We offer car parking pricing for up to 2 years in advance for different lengths of stay. Our pricing is dynamic and continually changes based on many different factors such as demand, occupancy and lead time making it possible for the pricing to change from booking to booking.

“The service was amazing but the price was insane.
£130 for 8 days parking was the cheapest we could find with you. Such a shame that families and people just wanting to go on holiday are being taken advantage of by ridiculously high parking prices.
Would easily be a 5 star service otherwise.”
“I booked a space at Plane Parking back in August for a 14/15 day stay commencing 9/10/24 from 12 noon. When I arrived at the barrier my Reg No.was not recognised and when I pressed the communication button I received a ticket and the barrier was raised. So far so good, but it was only on close examination of the ticket that I realised that I would have to pay again to be able to exit. I spent the whole fortnight on holiday worrying that I would have difficulty avoiding being charged twice, especially so as my flight from Paphos Cyprus was due to land at 1.15 am on 24/10. I attempted to have situation resolved with Plane Parking but after five days of prevarication they finally advised it was Edinburgh Airport's responsibility. I was unable to make contact with EA as sender would not accept email address. So I arrived at Plane Parking barrier at 2am on Thursday morning a nervous wreck when the original booking was again not recognised. It was only after some delay and the intervention of the individual in the background that I was eventually able to exit. Not good enough- costumer communication must improve- booking system and number recognition must be foolproof. Can I obtain compensation for a ruined holiday?”
“Getting to the Mid Stay car park was easy and just as described.
Upon arrival the barrier opened but I did not receive a ticket.
When we left we were asked to present the ticket, we had to call the control room to get the barrier opened”
“When we returned our car was parked in B50 which was pretty far from the reception area. Given the extra we paid for parking close to the airport this did not represent value for money”
“Used Park Plane.
They should have put on bigger buses to collect passengers during school hols as we had no place to sit.
Also, better labelling system of car park would be helpful. Split the 'A' area into say 'A1' 'A2' 'A3' making it easier to remember where we have Parked!”
“90% of luggage being taken to or from the long stay car park is pulled on wheels, and yet almost all the carriageway surfaces are of a course, rough bitmac. Luggage does not run comfortably. I would also suggest that most of the dimpled paving for partially sighted is totally unnecessary in this environment. Heavy luggage has to be lifted over them, which probably affects 98% of users. The signposting for the trolleys is almost invisible. Compared with other airports it really is third world.”
“Expensive. Close to departures so handy. No instructions so hard to find and couldn’t get out at the end of the stay because the barrier asked for a card that we were never given.”
“Pre booked Edinburgh Airport parking, was all in itself incident free, no hassles, and worked as it should.
I have only given a 3 star rating as we had also booked for fast track through UK passport control on our return, only to find that it no longer ixists and according to the polite lady directing us to the general queue along with all the other passengers, that this service had not been in use for months. So it begs the question, why did Edinburgh Airport, not get in touch to refund the money that we paid for a service they no longer offer????”
“Worked really well less stressful! On return was a bit concerned about how little space was between each parked cars considering people have cases, children etc. We stopped on way home to do shopping and noticed a very small dent on back door. The sun highlighted dent. Who knows when this happened but do wonder if it was at FastTrack car park.”
“Really good from a practical point of view. Location and staff are excellent. A huge hike on the price from last time though, A day and a half wages to park my car is a bit pricey”
