The actual parking is ok, what I was disappointed with was the information provided prior to booking - website said 5 minute walk, booking confirmation said 8 minutes - not a big deal unless your going on a ski holiday where you need lots of equipment and your taking a toddler! SO I emailed customer services to say that I would probably have chosen different parking if I new it was more likely to be a 10 minute walk rather than 5. They replied saying timing depends where you end up parking in the car park which is fair enough, they said I could book and rebook if I wished. I decided not to and was pleased when we arrived to get as close to the terminal as possible. Great we thought - only a 5 minute walk!! Unfortuneatly there did not seem to be any luggage trollies available - if there were they were not signposted at all. Two of our bags had wheels - 2 did not - this made it a VERY long walk to the terminal. If the web site had said "no trollies available for the 5-8 minute walk" we'd have chosen to park elsewhere but what really frustrates me is that the customer service person (they just had a generic signature on the email) who replied to my email - didn't think to mention this when my email clearly stated I would be travelling with lots of bags and a toddler. I really don't know how we would have managed if the toddler had needed to be pushed in a buggy or if none of our bags had had wheels. In conclusion - I'm disappointed in the information provided on the website about this parking option and in the lack of thought from your customer services team and finally the lack of facilities - surely other people using this car park don't all arrive expecting to have to lug their luggage to the terminal before they can get a trolley? The car park is absolutely fine for anyone who can carry their own luggage! I'll stop now.

Car parking prices are a total rip off how can you justify 42.00 for a days parking

I booked 15 days parking for what I felt was a reasonable price of £43.99 unfortunately my flight back from the USA was delayed until the following day when I arrived back to collect my car I had expected to have to pay a small supplement but was disgusted to be charged an extra £50 for being a day late due to no fault of my own I will never park here again

Money grabbing exploitative management whose singular goal is revenue and margin and if it just happens to suit the customers then that's ok. If I had a choice I would go elsewhere. They use differential pricing which appears to have little to do with costs and the parking charges can go up 100% from week to week. Seats in the terminal have been largely assigned to those using an eatery and to get through the terminal you have to endure a forced march through a load of so called Duty Free shops which are nothing of the kind. All in all they seem to have forgotten they are serving the public and now seem to be serving the VCs who own the place. Even charge you £1 to drop someone off. Utterly appalling!

The road system from the slip road (driving East) until you hit the terminal parking area is VERY POORLY SIGNED. The signage for the Car Park is next to useless when you are totally unfamiliar with the airport. The road markings and road surface should be glowingly bright a Very Big Scottish Welcome to our Capitals Airport. Not dull and depressing as they are in there present state. Where are the flags? It is an international airport there should be hundreds of them from every country in Europe. If it is the local council that is stopping the improvements then go directly to the Scottish Minister for Transport. You can definitely do a lot better. Under New Ownership for a few years now It really should be better than this.

We were held by late luggage late on Saturday night 14.01.17. The airport duty officer said he would inform the parking staff of this and additional charges were waived. At the exit barrier the person on the intercom was awful and awkward asking me for booking references (packed in luggage) or emails (at home on pc). Eventually he simply took my name and reg and let me through. He was dreadful, unhelpful and sarcastic. I'm very disappointed with the service.

Had to wait at barrier for an extended period of time in the freezing cold as my prepaid ticket would not be accepted and noone was available to pick up the call. Awful service and if I had been less able (e.g. Elderly) I would have been helpless in that situation. daniel-sherry@outlook.com

Pre-paid exit didn't work, had to wait ages for the Operator to answer the intercom then he couldn't find the reg number. Only after I retrieved the confirmation in the dark car park he could help. A terrible experience.

Might be an idea for company to check if they have any spaces before accepting bookings ! Booked the on site(uncovered) parking. Arrived and circled all around car park and unable to find any spaces. Many other drivers in same position. Finally gave up and called Edinburgh Parking. They confirmed no spaces and to instead park in adjacent multi storey. Managed this ok. On return from holiday had to provide all my details again and explain why I parked there, before they would lift barrier and allow exit. Unnecessary hassle and won't book with them again.

Mid-stay car park very poor, a long meandering walk from terminal, had it been raining we would have been soaked to the skin by the time we reached the terminal. Use long stay, shelters and bus service a far better option. Certainly do not pay extra for this option.

1) Fast track is badly sign posted. 2) Ground staff do not pass on the customer care that operators expect.-Example Ryanair Priority boarding (cost extra) - U then queue in a small area whilst 3 other flights are boarding , they split you into priority and non priority and then at the foot of the steps herd everyone onto a coach -result priority board last - and do they care no...... Come back from Alicante and you again are crammed into a coach which seemed like 2 miles from the terminal and then the coach has to wait in a queue of 4 coaches at passport control. There is absolutely no customer care and we all might as well have been sheep.

I booked my parking in advance only to find when I arrived that there were no spaces. I was told by an attendant that you had overbooked. I spent 30 mins trying to find a space eventually being told to leave it in the pick up area.

We arrived at the terminal car park to find that there were no spaces. We had to drive around for some time with no success after having pre booked online and paying £46 for 3 days. There were some cars taking up 2 spaces - these people should be charged double for their arrogance!! I tried to use the phone to contact someone but this didn't work and eventually found a man who worked there who told us to use the multi storey car park. This whole episode meant we were running late to check in for our flights then when we returned to the car the machine told us we owed £182 !! I usually pay more for the convenience of this car park but never again!!

Never use your services again !!!! Prepayed parking £39 ????....put ticket in machine at barrier and it comes up £260 !!!!!! What a scam !!! Had to reverse in traffic & find help !!!! ....told to just keep putting ticket in machine & press for assistance!! Surely in this modern day it should register my car reg or at least the ticket !!! Absolutely rubbish service! Can't help thinking some people will pay the £260 for a weeks parking just to get home ! SCAM

Parking at the airport was fine, and reasonably priced considering the price of taxis and public transport. I do think though that having spent ~£30 for a week's parking I ought to have been entitled to use the "paid drop off" for free when I went to collect the rest of my family and luggage after walking to collect my car. The poor review is not directly related to the parking, but to the money-grabbing ethos of Edinburgh Airport, at the expense of the environment. There appears to be a huge surcharge added to public transport services accessing the airport, which is the only real reason that parking my own car became competitive in price. Edinburgh Airport ought to be encouraging the use of public transport as much as possible.
