“Absolutely disgusting prices. I thought I had booked my parking but I hadn't completed the process, by the time I realised it was triple the price. In future I will be paying for a transfer instead.”
“Shocking!
Unorganised.
Queues to get into the car park.
The computer hadn't been updated with the location of my car on my return. Therefore, I could not find my car at 3am.”
“When we arrived the parking was easy enough. But where was the shuttle bus? After 20mins yes and no signposts to give any explaination, we decided to walk. It took 35 minutes and not once did we see a bus.
I will be following up for a refund.”
“Horrendous airport experience
I used the fast park on Sat 31 May. arrived and in a qeue for 60 mins to enter the car park which was full and no spaces, Staff had no leadership so no idea what to do as tempers rose with people about to miss check in including myself.
Even worse no reply from Car Park on email after I wrote to them.”
“Fast Park had a queue of over 35 minutes to get in, then no spaces / staff to take the car and move it. Not entirley sure what I apid the significan extra money for?
We spent a week in Portugal - saw more litter in 5 minutes at Edinburgh airport than we did in a whole week in Portugal. Poor - have some pride.”
“Almost missed our flight! We pre booked the fast track and they didn't have enough staff to park the cars. We ended up queuing nearly an hour and had to park in the long stay car park. Because we hadn't pre booked the long stay we had to pay £265 to park on top of our fast track parking fee.”
“We payed for Fast park but it was anything but fast! There were no spaces when we arrived so after sitting at the entrance for 15mins we were told just to go and find a space somewhere and let them know where we had left our car! We definitely did not get the service we had payed for.”
“Considering this was named ‘fast parking’ and upon arrival we had to wait 20 minutes in a long queue before even entering the car park. Surely the online booking system should allow for preparation of the volume cars turning up on the day for staff to have it organised in a better way. When returning a week later to collect the two cars we had booked, the machine was then demanding another £25 on top of the £300 already paid before releasing the car keys from the machine even though we were within the specific time frame for collection. Finding a staff member to explain was then more time spent before leaving the ‘slow’ car parking. Signage was also very poor to allocate the cars. We then could not leave as the barrrier was not lifting to allow us out, again having to press for assistance. All in all this is an absolute rip off and would not advise using this car parking system.
We will certainly not be doing this again which created stress before and after our holiday.”
“I use this service a lot and always great ,however this time I was not happy ,we got there around 23.00 our car number was a 41 I don’t think it could have been further away ,that time off night I’m sure the car could have been closer for us .i asked someone who worked there where it was and he was to busy on his phone ,he said yes .he had no idea what I had even asked him .he then come after us and said what is it you asked which I replied il find it myself you go back to your phone .
Really not happy”
“Worst experience ever.
Call it fast park, I'd be faster parking my car myself.
2 lanes only one open, one staff member standing on his poohing doing nothing, looking like a spare part.
Then you get to the computers to input info then you need to know the colour and number - be good to know that information to start with.
I'd rather pay the extra price and park myself in multistorey or long stay.”
“Awful experience. Couldn’t find any spaces upon arrival and when directed by a postcode and the signage to ‘more spaces’, the location that we parked ended up costing us £40 more. Lucky really as the ticket machine on exiting tried charging me £525. Won’t be using again.”
“I used FastPark on 25th May - a sunday before a bank holiday. The queue to get in was so long, backed up to the city bypass. It took over 50 minutes to get to the parking, even then it was still backed up to the roundabout with the terminal parking. I had to wait so long i almost missed my flight so had to book additional parking at the terminal space - which was significant additional cost.”
“Due to my flight landing just before midnight I made an error with my pre booked dates. Was charged £30 for 3 days and as I was 23 hours late from exit from the car park they charged me a further £55. Honest mistake and no empathy shown.”
“I used Edinburgh Parking for the first time and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I booked and paid online in advance for a short 2-day stay, expecting everything to be smooth. However, when I tried to leave, I was unexpectedly charged an additional £125 at the exit barrier.
There was no staff on site to help, no clear instructions, and no way to resolve the issue at the time. I had to submit a contact form online and now I’m left waiting, hoping someone will get back to me — and ideally within less than a month!
This experience has left me feeling incredibly let down, and I’m now anxious about whether I’ll even see a refund. I expected better from a service that’s supposed to make parking easier, not more stressful.”

“Disaster car park full. Long non moving line no information . Has to leave the line and parked outside elsewhere otherwise I would have missed my flight . Many others in same desperate situation . I expect a full refund at least 30 mins in the line before I gave up”
“Parked up was fine
On return day was notified about a broken suspension component that clearly wasn’t broken on arrival and was dangerous to proceed home however we proceeded home and decided to dangerous to continue so called recovery to complete our journey
We have emailed airport parking that notified us of our concerns with suspension but have had no response on any other correspondence.
Hope this helps with a reply before I take this further

“My car was damaged by the car next to it. I’m generally very particular about parking far away at car parks and making sure no one can be next to me. It was obviously busy so I didn’t have that luxury. When I returned the rear quarter panel had a large dent and the paint was broken. I was not happy.
Also, for the second time now I’ve been asked to pay money on exit even though I’d pre booked. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice. But it’s extremely inconvenient.”
