Close to terminal but not enough spaces

On arrival notice at entrance showed that surface parking was full an was directed to alternative (direction not clear) went in to first level of parking then to terminal. On exit at barrier on inserting ticket notice said £180 due! pressed button and eventually was cleared without charging. Travel is stressful do not need additional stress for car parking. Thankfully was sorted.

Parking is safe and secure and good value when booked in advance. I would say is that the mid and long term parking areas could be advertised a bit better/clearly sign posted as if you miss the turn off you will go to through the drop off area and that will cost extra.

It was good and straight forward, but took 10-15 mins to find a space

Some things are good, some things are not so good, that is why I have selected "Acceptable". The bus shuttle service is brilliant and the overall facilities give you some peace of mind (barriers, fences...) but the parking spaces are tight and there is not a single basic shelter for cars. If you arrive after noon, it is really difficult to find a space... I don't know, I think for the price we pay (compared to other airports in Europe), these facilities should be better.

It’s a car park, where you get a space to park your car, for twenty five quid (yes 25) a day. What more do you need?

It was very difficult to find a space on surface parking on Monday 3rd sept. I pay extra to have the convenience of parking there. It added more time than if I had parked in long stay. The exit arrangements are very poor and there was a long tail back to exit the car park on Friday 7th sept. Needs improvement all around.

In some ways better than other airports but lots to improve. Spaces are very tight. Booking system doesn't allow amendments even though it says it does. You end up having to cancel and rebook.....makes no sense. Far too complex when trying to follow all the signs on the way in. The exit barrier never let's me out when prebooked! Often easier to just park elsewhere.

Upon returning from our holiday, we experienced difficulties trying to locate the correct bus stop to return to our car. We were confused due to the lack of clear signs or markings as well as an overabundance of irrelevant information. This is a problem that we have noted applies to the whole airport experience when flying from Edinburgh. For instance, driving in to the airport is always overwhelming and stressful due to all the long-winded signs that are impossible to read when travelling by car. This makes it difficult to extract the relevant information in an effective manner. I would recommend hiring a designer to optimise your signs for clarity and simplicity. Also, when travelling into the airport I care about the price of parking. This is not indicated until you reach the parking in question and it is no longer possible to turn back without causing chaos with other vehicles.

Arriving back at midnight in the freezing cold, having to wait at Bus stop A for ages in order to get back to our car in the 'Express'(!) long stay carpark was not good. And then the bus has to stop at 3 other stops before getting to the Express stop, means it wasn't Express at all! If you're going to market something as supposedly faster, then it should be....won't use this again.

By far the most expensive parking of any airport that I fly from. Newcastle for e.g. is consistently and significantly better value. I fly a lot on Business and my colleagues also share this same view.

The positives are that it’s not too far from the terminal and you can walk it safely if you like. The negatives are that it is often very crowded indeed and not cheap

Arrived, to find to have to drive into overflow car park, as this main section nearest the airport was full which I wanted as I was not well. To walk as far.

Convenient parking in the Multi storey. The number of available spaces advertised on each floor bear no reality. Each floor had at least 30 spaces advertised but none available except the outdoor top floor. Don’t be in a rush to find a space

Short-stay car parking is expensive, but if you book way in advance you can sometimes get a good deal online. Long-stay car parking at Edinburgh is close to the terminal so the transfer is short, but on several occasions I've waited a long time for the bus to arrive at the stance. Long-stay can be overcrowded, with cars parked illegally outwith bays. Generally worth paying the extra few pounds as compared to the non-official car parks, like Secure and NCP.

Very very Expensive, especially if you don't book ahead. I forgot one day, and paid £68 for 2 days in the long stay car park.

Paid for access to Fast Track via bridge straight into Security. It was closed. Had to walk down stairs and then the long way round, Not what the deal was,

I've used this service many times and always been happy in the past, however, this time our flight was delayed which resulted in us being asked to pay more money at the point we inserted the card into the barrier -- this was very awkward as there was no option to pay there so we had to reverse and go to a machine. The closest machine was not working but there was no sign or other indication that it wasn't working. After a day of delays in the airport it was a bit frustrating.
