Not the best airport parking experience due to lack of decent signage to fastrack parking plus wasn’t fully informed of suitability when on holiday for a week when checking in cases.

This is the first time in the past three bookings that I have managed to get a Fast Track parking space. First two times the spaces were all booked. This needs to be managed better as if the service is paid for, it should be available.

No problem with cost, directions given etc, however, on our return when trying to exit the machine tried to charge us £280 for a week of parking. The voice on the intercom was helpful, but stated that we had parked in the wrong area. Whilst we did not have any addition payment, I object to being told I am in the wrong place when (and I checked my confirmation e-mail) it is clearly stated that I can park in the surface carpark, directly opposite the terminal building. The map sent clearly indicated where we had parked was correct. In fact, the e-mail actually stated that we could park on any of the Edinburgh Airport surface car parks. The matter was resolved easily, but this is the 2nd time that a machine attempted to charge us when we had already pre-paid. It’s the last thing anyone wants to deal with on returning from holiday.

Long stay bus ride now twice as far. Will use surface in future.

In principle, we never park on the Airport because of the high price., but last weekend we used the MSCP with the excellent Fast Track for the first time only because the margin over other forms of parking for a two-day duration was acceptable, whereas for longer periods it becomes quite unrealistic. Overall your prices are too high and I'm sure you'd attract more users and therefore more revenue at a lower price. As Seniors, we normally park at FerryToll and use the [free] 747 bus. If you introduced a reduced price for Seniors we would park more often on the Airport.

Multistory/Fast Track is incredibly convenient, but it’s a very expensive option when compared to Long Stay.

Having not flown from Edinburgh before it was quite difficult to find the long stay car park as a number of competitor long stay car parks are sign posted before you see signs for the airport's long stay car park. It was also quite busy so it took some time to find a space. The shuttle bus to the terminal building arrived promptly but the stand where it dropped us off was a long way from our check in desks and with bags, 2 children and a pram it wasn't as easy as it could have been to get across the airport, likewise on our return, having had to wait 45 minutes from clearing passport control for our bags (at 3am) it then took time to get back to Stand A. We also had to wait quite a long time for the shuttle bus with the kids at 4am. There was car park seemed secure so in summary I felt it just about did what I needed it to do - but I don't plan to use it - or Edinburgh airport - again in the near future.

Very good access to the parking on the way in (early morning). Leaving, despite it being a Sunday afternoon, was a different story entirely; the exit roads were jam-packed and it took some time to negotiate off-site to the A720 city by-pass, due to the amount of traffic, roundabouts and traffic lights.

Arriving was very easy, signs were clear to direct me to correct place. Spaces seem very tight, was a bit concerned I would come back to dents on my car from car doors either side but it was fine. Leaving was a shambles due to volume of traffic plus taxis and private hire leaving from same exit. Could have done with a member of staff to help direct the 3 lanes of traffic into 1 lane. That said I would probably use the service again.

The car park itself is adequate, signage concerning the many different types of parking/route access and bus pick-up drop off procedures/places is not clear/bold enough (particularly in the dark at early morning/late night times). Our friends with a poor command of English were particularly confused as we attempted to help them for future travels. Our USA visitors expressed a similar anxiety at the volume of small directional & instructional signs on particularly return/parking, while being pressed by following cars, limited lane options, queuing traffic. The need to improve traffic flow from/to the airport is an imperative to help bring the airport into the 20th century access model.

Need to provide more buses to and from long stay car park and also sort the level of traffic once you’ve left the airport complex as it seems causes unnecessary delays .

Buses slow from long stay. Sometimes it pays to go to terminal parking. Staff friendly.

The car park was very busy on arrival and difficult to find a space. The spaces were quite tight especially for the size of our vehicle. And on return at approx 12:30am and in the rain and cold I was unable to get my daughter into the car without moving the car forward as someone had parked so close to our car. When we put the ticket into the machine it came up that we owed £385 even though we had booked and paid prior to our holiday. Which meant buzzing for help again in the rain and cold. Overall was slightly disappointed. One good point was that it was a two min walk from the airport.

Express parking makes it more difficult to use as people entering that area seem confused and just stop driving looking at signs

Need much clearer directions and signage. As ended parking in a different car park as could not find any directions to your car park at the airport. The 3 stars is for the staff as communications with them prior to arrival was great.

Pricing is excessive, even considering the proximity to the terminal compared with the other parking suppliers nearby. It seems difficult to justify that the cost is anything other than blatant profiteering on the airport's part. The facilities are in good condition and I especially appreciate the fast track bridge on level 2. This saves time while departing. There should also be an option to return to the car park the same way. The website should provide the capability to extend a parking stay. The process of extending (currently just booking a second session and using the help button on the exit gate) is convoluted and not very efficient. The additional cost of booking a new session is exorbitant when compared with booking a single session for the same combined period. Another example of unjustified profiteering.

Took a very long time to find a space after going around the car park several times. Doesn’t seem to be very organised.

We have flown from Edinburgh the last four years and loved the valet parking. Straight out of terminal and car ready and waiting. This has now gone and been replaced with long term express. I am afraid I am not impressed when we landed it was starting to rain we had to catch a bus back to the car park and when we got there it was in the furthest parking space away from the hut. It was at this point pouring so by the time we got to the car we were all drenched and had to drive for two hours in damp clothes. I know you can’t do anything about the weather but had the car been waiting for us like previous car park did it would not have been as bad.

a good service was let down by the volume of traffic around the airport on Thursday afternoon. The bus took a while to reach the car park as it was stuck in traffic, and it took us around 45 minutes from getting in the car to leaving the airport environs. I don't know if this is usual, if so, the roads need urgent upgrading.
