“Website booking process is straightforward and easy. On the day of my flight, the car park was extremely busy and it did take a while to find a space. On exit as well, the queues were lengthy to get out - this is really an infrastructure issue with Edinburgh airport and the volume of traffic going through it.”
“When we arrived on Sunday 2nd September about 3.00 p.m. for a space we had prebooked months earlier and then spent 10 minutes looking for a space, eventually waiting for someone to leave, we wonder what happens when the car park is full ?”
“I booked in advance, but because my car has the number plate on the side (Alfo Romeo) it wasn't detected so I had to check with the staff in the booth to make sure I was able to leave without having to pay (I had already pre-paid). Those staff were very helpful. Parking is expensive.”
“Tried the Long Stay Express for the first time. You are met at long stay by a staff member who takes the keys and arranges for the car to be parked and you get a shuttle bus. This part went very well - nice helpful staff. On the way back however, there was poor signage for the bus stop outside the terminal (went to wrong one initially) and although the car was ready for us, the service at pick up feels much less personal - you collect the keys from an office and then have to find the car yourself in a numbered bay. Not really much different or 'express' from self park in the long stay. Probably wouldn't use this service again.”
“Buses to and from the parking could stop closer to the entry door to the airport.
The "express" service is actually slower than if you had parked yourself.”
“Good that you can pre-book and it recognises your number. Found a space eventually, could do with some help boards to direct users to spaces. Have to say, £40 for a days parking is outrageous.”
“Not bad. However that’s the 3rd time I have parked with Edinburgh airport and 3 times they have tried to charge me 225 pound for a booking I pre made for 66 pounds. Also happened to my mother. Seems strange they try charge everyone 4 times the amount the customer has already paid.”
“There is only really one aspect of service provided here, other than providing tarmac on which to park, and that aspect all too frequently fails. For the umpteenth time my pre book hadn’t registered and I was stuck at the gate with a payment of £130 due. It doesn’t take long to fix, which makes it all the more frustrating that it happens at all.”
“The car park was very busy when we arrived and it took us some time to find a space. Cars had been left by their owners at areas that were not designated spaces. Waited for quite some time to get bus back to car park on our return.”
“Had booked Terminal Surface Parking but took me 10 minutes of driving around to find a space. Was lucky that a car pulled out and I pulled in. Overselling spaces issues maybe?”
“Convenient for airport. Bus was delayed getting to the airport dye to significant traffic. Also had to wait about 15mins for the bus on the return to the airport.”

“First time I've used this car park for a long time. Arrived early morning and left in evening on the same day. Experience was OK, but had difficulty finding the exit on leaving. This is not wee signed for people who are not regular users.”
