“First time I've used this car park for a long time. Arrived early morning and left in evening on the same day. Experience was OK, but had difficulty finding the exit on leaving. This is not wee signed for people who are not regular users.”
“Pre-booked mid-stay and had to wheel golf clubs and a trolly bag a fair distance. Return Flight was delayed (through no fault of mine) and then had to pay an extra £6, which meant I had to reverse out of exit barrier and head off to pay machine. Can’t understand why you can’t just pay on exit as that would be far easier....and then had to queue all the way out and along M8. Airport needs improved traffic management and re-invest some of the profits into new access and egress routes.”
“Proximity to the airport was excellent as was the price I paid however, the availability of free spaces was very low when I arrived. I had to do 3 laps of the car park until I was lucky enough to find someone who was leaving and get their space. Pre-booking is very convenient but only works if spaces are kept and not allowed to be utilised by those who just turn up.”
“Went fine but what tainted the experience was the rude bus driver, who on the drop off went right past our bus stop, even though the red “stopping” light was on and I pressed the stop button.
I (politely!!) asked why he didn’t stop at the previous bus stop and got a very abrupt response, telling me the bell did not go off.
I replied to tell him I had pressed the button, but it seems the bell it not working. His response was that there is nothing he can do about it.
His attitude and response really annoyed us, not the extra walk with two cases and a baby.
One would think a better reply would be to apologise and say the bell never went off and that he will look into getting it fixed. It’s a basic service I would expect from paying a premium to park at Edinburgh Airport...! Never to be used again.”
“Hello, very easy website, my only real concern is that because my number plate is off centre (Alfa) I have to ring the assistance bell each & every time I want to leave rather than the barrier lift automatically, because the speaker is often broken up its fustrating after a long day having to battle to leave...”
“On arrival the Man that checked in the car was helpful, friendly and efficient. The journey back from the airport the driver of the bus was rude and not helpful at all.”
“Good service at airport however when i got home i noticed there was a scuff on my car and immediately phoned the office. when the guy answered he said he would get someone to deal with it in the morning, that was on the 4th of September and i am still waiting on the phone call.”
“Our valet parking was changed to multi story just before we went on holiday. We choose valet parking to have a seamless start and finish to our holiday. Not this time. Parking is on a different floor to both check in and baggage reclaim with little or no sign posting. We had to lug our bags a good distance and on the way back could not find the entrance to the car park from baggage reclaim. Not good. A real hassle. Would have had less trouble with the off site companies and a courtesy bus for about a third of the price we paid. Not good at all Edinburgh airport.”
“The parking is convenient and fast to the terminal (for short stay and mid term). Finding parking is becoming more difficult unless arrival is early the morning. By 9:00 many of the spaces are full and there is no indication where to find spaces. If you are running late that becomes a problem!”
“Two main issues; not enough spaces and at least 50% of the time that I prebook, the exit barrier does not recognise my ticket/number plate and requests payment again. Very poor arrangement!”
“even though we had chosen the terminal parking we had to park quite a distance which I suppose defeats the purpose of being close to the terminal. I would recommend as long as you can get near the actual airport. I think you should have level of costs depending on where you park as we could have just got the courtesy bus from one of the other parking providers at a cheaper cost.”

“The car park was busy and it took a bit of time to find a space. The spaces are very narrow and it wasn't easy to get backs out when parked.
Pleased to see that the bus now stops much closer to the terminal”
“Convenient location but ease of use could be improved - barriers not working properly on arrival. Buses trapped in traffic on return so had to walk from terminal.”
“In terms of entry it was brilliant and so much easier than other parking. Exiting was a problem as bottle necked with lots of taxis. To improve taxis should have own area & exit”
