Very handy car park with overflow spaces but I have had to call for assistance too often. I prepay, but the machine says I'm outstanding £110; there is a sign at the pay machines saying "save time and pay contactless at the barrier" but the contactless doesn't work; the barrier machine won't accept my ticket; another time I prepaid but I was outstanding £600. The assistants are very helpful and do sort you out, but small inconveniences like these really aren't needed after a long day or a long flight when you just want to get home.

Only issue I had was getting out of car park! Didn't have ticket to put in machine, pressed for help and got a stroppy attendant obviously feeling in an awkward mood!

Paid online all booked no problem. Received instructions and followed them exactly. Followed directions and got ticket and parked. Arrived back after 1am, had paid until 7am incase of delays. Got to the barrier to leave and came up on screen that we owed £270!!! Pressed button to talk to someone and were asked where we had parked and for reg and then barrier lifted. Maybe get anpr sorted or clearer instructions as we were with others and same happened to them and also it seemed from queues numerous cars ahead of us.

Parking was fine & well signposted but when I exited I put my ticket in and a message came up I needed to pay £90 when in fact I had already paid in advance. This was distressing to me . It was resolved when I pressed the assistance button.

Two issues affected my enjoyment of Edinburgh airport parking. The first was on entrance. It was not clear that I was in the right car park. At 3am in the morning you need the simplest of instruction to reassure. Why can the car parks not be colour coded or better still given a unique identifying, unmistakable graphic. The concern of being in the wrong car park cast a slight shadow over our holiday. It was not helped when at the end of our holiday we got to the exit barrier and it stayed horizontal. Easily fixed with a conversation to an attendant. Ho wever seeing a £270 charge for parking (the cumulative daily tarriff if not booked in advance) provided real stress. Finally the barrier was lifted with the excuse that the number plate recognition system had not recognised our number plate. All is well that ends well!

On exiting at the machine it wouldn't let us out. After speaking with agent who confirmed car registration, we were then let out. The machine was wanting about £270! When we had booked on line. So this caused concern and same happened to fellow family members having same issue at exit

Hi. The multistory airport parking is an excellent facility and so much better than Manchester airport parking, We pre-booked our parking many weeks before, parked the car on departure day in the multistory, flew to Madrid, returned and loaded cases into our car - all perfect and easy. At the barrier around 11.00pm things fell apart. The parking machine told us that we owed £315.00 !! I beeped the car park control centre and he asked for my car registration number. A few seconds later the barrier went up - no apology. This is why Edinburgh Airport Parking only gets 3 stars from me. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Arrival was easy but departure was a problem. Couldnt find any signs to the correct bus stop so we walked a half mile from Terminal to car. Next on reaching the gate it said £149 fee. Had to contact help to get it correct and gate to open.

Great parking v near to the departures lounge but oh my goodness, on departure being told I owed £360 when I’d paid in advance was a huge scare. All sorted in the end due to professionalism of staff, but this was very scary!

This is the 2nd time we have parked the car here, paid in advance and each time when you pop the ticket in to leave it asks for over £400.. Don't understand why this happens at this carpark.. however each time I speak to staff they recognise the car reg and I'm let out. The parking is great as close to airport but this small issue is very annoying

I missed the turning so had to pay £4 to go round via Drop off even though I drive straight through.

A great idea. Very close to terminal and well sign posted. As first time users we were glad of the helpful member of staff who was there at the automated check in . Very slight scuffing on the driver side rear that was not there when we left the car but good luck complaining about that. I'm not going to waste my time.

Quite difficult to find a space on the way in and then it wanted to charge me £200 on exit despite paying in advance! But all sorted.

On arrival the license plate registration did not recognise the car plate. We pressed for help and were told to take a ticket and sort it on our return. This would just leave anxiety for our weeks holiday so attempted to resolve the issue before we went into the airport. The gentleman at the desk did his best to find our booking but license plates wouldn’t work(we had change the license plate since booked due to personal reg but neither plate would come up), the booking reference didn’t work, eventually after much searching he found the booking with our surname. He told us he couldn’t fix anything now but to sort it on our return. We knew we would be leaving at 3am and were worried about this but we’re told the desk would be manned. The entire weeks vacation we were worried that we would be forced to repay an inflated rate to get our car from the car park. When we returned yet again we had issue locating our booked and spent another 10mins with the desk team who did manage to resolve this. However it feels like it was unnecessary anxiety caused for an entire week of our vacation. The man on the desk on our return told us this is a constant issue and it hardly ever picks up reg plates. Clearly there is a fault in the system and needs to be rectified to save future anxiety for people travelling on vacation.

The booking process was fine but your system apparently failed to recognise the car on arrival. I got a ticket but did not realise until leaving a few days later when a charge of £155 was suggested. Your staff member dealt with this efficiently and quickly which was good. We had just had to leave with no bags - no one from Edinburgh airport at reclaim to explain anything as no bags were appearing for a number of flights which was wholly unacceptable. The failure of the car park system seems indicative of a generally failing system at Edinburgh Airport.

Vehicle recognition was not working when we arrived early on the Sunday morning, therefore required manual engagement with staff to both enter and leave the car park. Staff were efficient and courteous, however the experience rating reflects below expected service levels.
