The only real issue is with the barrier at the exit trying to charge you even when you pre-paid. Had this happpen to both a friend and now myself. Need to get assistance and give your ref number to get through. Not sure what causes this issue but maybe something is wrong with the number plate recognition. One way that the car park could be improved is by having some wardens who could direct you to empty spaces. Finding a space can take a long time and it seems many people just abandon their cars on the road.

Easy enough to get to and transfer bus was no problem getting to airport. Signage to the bus pick up point on return was really poor. Ticket didn’t work when exiting from car park and it wanted to charge me nearly £400. Clearly it’s a regular issue but it was resolved very quickly.

I prebooked Terminal one surface parking. Always find it confusing trying to get to terminal one surface parking. Normally registration number is read and printed on ticket but not this time so made me think I could have parked in the wrong carpark. When I arrived back from holiday and inserted my ticket it said I had to pay £229. After calling help at the gate and advising I had prepaid I gave my registration number and the barrier was lifted so in the end all good but perhaps it would be an idea to be able to put your registration in on entry and your ticket to have printed "prepaid" on entry to the carpark or if entering the wrong carpark,so you can find the right one. In all it was OK but that last wee but of anxiety is always there coming home.

Very quick and convenient apart from the below. When we arrived we went into the long stay and drove around for a while but could not find a space. (We had pre-booked) There was a gate in the fence which was open, with cars parked on the other side, so we justifiably assumed that it was part of the same carpark and parked there. On returning a week later (at 1am) we went back to the car, drove to the indicated exit and put the ticket in, only to be told by the ticket machine that we were in the wrong carpark. Had to work out where the gate was and found (luckily) that it was only closed and not locked so that we could get back into the "correct" car park.

It’s the official Airport car park and 12 minutes walk to terminal. All provided you know the way as it’s not we’ll sign posted. There’s no shuttle service so unless you’re fit it’s a struggle with heavy cases. At night, returning its even worse. Try finding it in the dark. We’ll worth considering alternatives.

Generally works well, but twice recently, after pre-booking, I have been asked for an additional £70 when leaving at the barrier. The first time I thought it may be my fault Re. automatic number plate recognition as my number plate had some damage. However, after replacing my number plate it happened again.

Everything was fine until exiting at the barrier. The message read I had an unpaid bill of 165 pounds for a 4 day stay. I had prepaid online for a fee of 55 pounds. The issue was resolved upon pressing the button at the barrier and speaking to the duty person. The same thing happened to my son a few weeks earlier. Looks like Edinburgh Airport Parking need to overhaul the online booking system.

On arrival at barrier the camera didn’t read my Registration Number. I had to contact your control centre, which took too long to answer. Person I spoke to was not very professional. He eventually found my booking after I had given him my Reg number, booking reference number, and the date of my return. He said I had given him the wrong Registration number (I think I know my own number) After all this nonsense, he issued a ticket, with no apology for the delay. Very unprofessional.

The service is very good, however I have a challenge with the fact as a disabled customer my car upon return was parked almost the furthest point away from the kiosk and the my car was left in the carpark unlocked??? ultimately I should expect at least a basic service, that my car is secure!

When I returned and tried to leave the car park I was asked to pay £110. I had booked and payed online prior to going. Although this was quickly sorted after a long day travelling it was a little annoying. I have used Edinburgh Airport parking a few times lately and this has been the only issue, so overall a pretty good service.

Booked and paid online prior to parking, but when leaving tried to charge me £410. Had to press button and give reference number of booking to attendant. There were several cars behind me waiting. Finally gate opened and I could depart.

we've booked parking with you twice this year, and on both occasions, on exit, the system has asked us to pay a parking charge and we've had to speak to you. Does the system need updating?

Parked at Long Stay. It was extremely busy. Had to drive around for a while before locating a space, in section H. No shuttle bus, I don't know why as there used to be. Maybe because of Covid but it should have been re-introduced by now. As there's no shuttle bus a 10-min walk to the terminal building from Long Stay is required, but the walkway is poorly signposted and rough underfoot. A poor experience when it is raining.

4th time in a row pre paid not recognised when leaving, camera not reading number plate (no idea why standard plate) have to engage staff to rectify, not end of world stuff, but still shouldn’t happen
