“Booked fastpark and upon arrival (before 5am) was 'upgraded' to a car park much further away, with no-one parking for me or keeping my keys (the service I paid a premium for)
The walk to the terminal - with luggage - was about 10/15mins (instead of 2mins as advertised) and the path wasn't clearly marked.
Even finding a pedestrian route in/out of the car park wasn't easy! To be fair this may be easier during daylight hours.
It was clear they had overbooked from the amount of customers being redirected.
This is a high cost car park and the service didn't match my expectations.
After arriving home, my ticket informed me I had an outstanding balance of hundreds of pounds. That was fun to deal with at midnight.
I don't recommend parking here, they basically park you in a lower cost car park than you have paid for, breaching their own T&C's.
Wouldn't have bothered to leave a review generally, but they asked me to.
I am still waiting for a reply to my complaint email.
Use secure airparks guys, it's so much better & less stressful. You get what you pay for there. (was fully booked for me unfortunately)”
“Good effiient service but the state of my car in terms of dirt/dust when I picked it up was unbelievable- it had just been washed and when I got it back it was filthy.”
“By far, the simplest and most user friendly airport parking I have ever used. Close to the terminal building at drop off, and within a few metres of the doors on arrival. One I will definitely use from now on!”
“Booked online, simple and easy to do.
Well worth the price I payed, you get a shuttle bus service included as it is a bit of a long walk to the terminal and back.
Easy to find as it is well signposted.”
“Parking was simple, although had to ring the buzzer to get into the multistorey parking. I had pre booked so they lifted the barrier. Seems when its busy they block the barrier lifting to ensure there is spaces for people that had pre booked.”
“Parking was easy but not enough disabled spaces. Bus drivers were lovely but I struggled with the steps into the vehicle. I’m registered disabled. Can you book a disabled slot?”
“Used for first time, easy enough to find after looking on google earth. Parked easily and followed people to airport. Would like to have seen a bigger sign saying name of car park and a sign or map with arrows pointing which way to go at 4am”
“I booked Fast Park but it wasn’t available when we arrived. We had to park close to the perimeter of the open air car park. I think if you’ve booked a service you should get what you paid for. When I returned it tried to charge me £290. Thankfully it was quickly sorted after I complained. All in all a very disappointing experience.”
“Mid stay car park, quite busy but found a slot. Walking to terminal with wheel cases in 5 mins. Surface of car park means wheeled cases do not roll smoothly even on pedestrian walkways. Barrier operated correctly this time and recognised my booking so leaving was seamless.”
“Everything is great as in location and accessibility. But I was taken back by surprise when I slid my prepaid ticket into the barrier and it came up showing I owe £350. But a staff member on the buzzer helped out so all good.”
“The terminal parking was perfect for me as I have mobilty issues. The pre arrival information was excellent and leaving on our return was no problem. In all good service and will be using again.”
“As a regular airline traveller from Edinburgh airport my parking preference is always the Fast Park facility. It is normally very efficient, if somewhat pricey at times. Regtrettably on this occassion the facility had been overbooked and we were directed to a much more distant car park. No email apology or offer of refund was made”
