“Never enough spaces can take up to 20-30 minutes to find one in the long stay parking
Cars have to park on dounn be le yellows
I get cheaper parking at Heathrow”
“Dropping the car and walking the 2 minutes to the terminal removes the stress from trying to find a parking place. Only issue we had was that our car was not in the row noted on the label and we had to hunt for it!”
“I booked in Nov but got a new car in January. I cancelled the first booking and rebooked with new car.
The barrier didn't lift, pressed the intercom we gave them booking reference number they had no record of it, they didn't have any record of our old car registration either.
We eventually got through, we had the same thing on the way back after about 15mins of explaining we got through.
It was very stressful and not what you want at the start or end of your holiday.”
“Upon arriving at the car park, I discovered that a non-electric vehicle had occupied a charging slot. Another lane was occupied by a car whose owner had not initiated a charge, effectively blocking the lanes and the free lane charge No 1 station did not work (it had been recognised that it had been out of action for several weeks. Consequently, three out of ten charging slots were unavailable. Fortunately, I managed to secure a nearby parking space, as the situation would have been significantly more challenging without this.
I contacted the contact number, but my efforts were futile. They were unaware of the presence of chargers at Edinburgh Airport and failed to provide any assistance. Furthermore, I was uncertain whether I would receive a refund for the deposit despite the charging station not functioning.
The lack of ownership and responsibility on the part of the airport authorities to provide customer support is evident. I spent thirty minutes attempting to resolve the issue, including searching for an alternative parking space. Fortunately, I had sufficient charge to last the week without the battery depleting. However, the challenges associated with EV charging at the airport are significant, as there is no contingency plan in place in case the charging station fails.
Additionally, none of the chargers clearly indicate that they are controlled by EVOLT rather than SWECO.”
“Fast Park has been excellent for us, having used it twice this year. Friendly and helpful staff, very convenient set up and definitely our number one option for future trips”
“When yougwt back fromma long tiring trip where the logistics partner has lost your luggage and failed to communicate properly the airport transfer Arrangements , the last thing you want is for there to be trouble at the barrier on your secure parking. However, thats what we got. No matter which way we inserted our prepaid ticket the machine spat it out. Moteover it was done so abruptly that the wind caught the ticket and blew it away from our car requiring an cit and retrieval exercise until the support button had to be pressed. I don't the driver was that helpful or the bus that timely either.”
“Simple parking however IT could be better with camera failing to pick up number plate and a request for £180 when exiting when we had already prepaid. Simply sorted by call. Did not look like we were the only people affected hence a queue built up!”
“Easy to use snd convenient. Lovely staff. BUT booked at £89 then when Ryanair changed flight times had to cancel snd rebook. Then it cost a lot more. Why not possible to reschedule without incurring extra cost?”
“Second time we have used Fast Park and it is ideal for us. Simple to book and easy to get to. Only a short walk to the terminal and your car is easy to find when you return.”
“Booked online was easy, parking was easy. But on exiting machine would not accept ticket. Had to wait for assistance via incom who were very helpful.”
