Road between Long Stay car park and the terminal was choked with traffic when I arrived and the transfer bus was stranded in stationary traffic. I decided to walk with my bags from the car park to the terminal to catch my flight and arrived much quicker than the bus. On the return leg, there was more than a bus load of customers waiting for a Long Stay Car park bus suggesting that buses were not arriving very frequently. I chose to go back to my vehicle on foot again. In summary, given the unnecessary high prices, this car park delivered a poor service and as a frequent flyer, I'll head to an alternative provider next time.

Difficult to find, No one to assist at desk, No space to put luggage while at desk. Badly planned layout poorly signed and not near bus stance. Will not use again.

11/07/2018 When I inserted my card to depart the car park. the barrier didn't lift and the screen indicated that I owed £275. When I pressed the intercom to explain that I had prepaid in January a curt voice asked me to quote my ref. number. I did this and eventually my card returned and the barrier lifted. No explanation of what had happened was given, nor was there any courtesy apology offered. Public Relations obviously not on the agenda.

Too expensive. Cost almost as much to park the car as our flights cost.

We had to rebook flights due to a cancellation, arriving six hours earlier than planned. We called up Airport Parking Express twice, 24 hours and 12 hours before the new arrival time, to tell them we'd be arriving early and to check the car would be ready. Both times we were told everything would be ready, just speak with the people at the desk when we arrive. When we arrived, the car wasn't ready and was still in storage; the two men at the desk were surprised we arrived early, they said they hadn't heard anything about an early arrival, and that the car was still in storage and we'd have to wait half an hour for the car to be collected. After a long journey this isn't what we wanted. The two men behind the desk were very friendly and polite, but the inability of the organisation to address an early arrival with advanced notice is not acceptable. Given that we called twice, 24 and 12 hours ahead to give you notice, I would like to know what we should have done instead to ensure the car would have been ready for collection, as phoning doesn't work.

I purchased the new 'Express' service as it was cheaper than the regular long stay parking. Express it was NOT. Had to queue to hand over the keys on arrival - it took nearly 45 mins to get to terminal from driving into the express lane. On the return, the bus stop (4) which when I asked the driver 'is this the one for express', I thought his curtness was a little rude pointing at the office like I was a little bit stupid. My question was much to the relief of the other people wondering the same thing. It was 2.30 am we were all weary and a little helpful shout out from the driver as he approached would have saved us all looking at each other slightly perplexed. Depending then on how many people get off the bus, you might have to queue to get your keys back. All in all this is not what I would consider express if you are travelling with luggage on a busy weekend during the holidays. It may be different at other times of the year!! I travel for work a fair bit and the last 2 times I've left the main multi storey, I've had to press the intercom button. For me this is a real pain when you've paid for fast track, weary from work travel and have to scramble for your phone to find your booking reference. The last time, I was told that it [my booking reference] was on a different system after asking me to repeat it several times and checking. Service has been getting worse not better. I recently traveled with my husband and he used Scot Park - dropped right outside the terminal and picked up right outside the Intl arrivals. I'll be looking into that for future travel.

The new long stay express didn't give what it "said on the tin". The service was no better than just staying in the long stay car park - express it was not. you used the same bus as everyone else in the car park and if you were parked near the first stop within the park you would have been out long before the "express" drop off 4 stops later. then you had to pick up your key (in a queue) then find your car. Express is a bit of a misnomer.

The Fake Fast Track: expensive, poor/no signage and miss sold. It should be written in bold capitals that it can only be "fast" if you have nothing to check in. If you have any other business in the airport this is not for you. Edinburgh airport too small and a very poor design which is exacerbated when you are rejected at the fast track entrance and must go against the flow back to the rest of the airport.

I booked the car in terminal parking for 10 days arriving was fine trying to get back out the car park was a different story. My father put the ticket in the machine and if wouldn't let us out it kept saying ticket invalid as both parents are disabled I had to walk from O parking to the office which is a long walk the man in the office was nice enough but couldn't explain why the ticket said invalid so he gave me another one. So I walked all the way back to the car with the new ticket got back in the car put it in the machine and the same thing happened again so once again I had to trail all the way back again and explain the situation to a different man who couldn't understand why it was happening as nothing was owed on the ticket (I knew that anyway as I paid in advance on line ) it ended up we got out after a 3rd time we had to press the intercom button and the man lifted the barrier for us .

The signs directing you to the surface car park are shown on a signpost that has a number of signs for other car parks which are all very small and difficult for a first time visitor to read, There is also part of the branch of a tree obscuring some of them. I have used Glasgow Airport NCP2 car park on a number of occasions and the signs are very large and very easy to read. I had great difficulty finding the surface car park. Not a very good first time visit.

Actual mechanics work well enough but feels expensive and to be frank the road access into and out of Edinburgh Airport is becoming something of a bad joke. Shambles of mini roundabouts and traffic lights.

Drop off went ok, however when collecting car no one seemed to know what to do. Gave name and registration number of vehicle and was handed a set of keys and space number only to find when leaving the office that I had been given the keys to someone else's car. Returned to the desk, gave registration number again and was given correct keys. Went to my car and was unable to get into car due to closeness it was parked adjacent car and had to climb in through passenger door to get to drivers seat. Was then unable to exit car park until called on intercom for barrier to be lifted.

hottest day of the year and drove round and round the car park for 40 mins trying to find a space. Awful - take your money but this!

Waited 25 mins on a bus at midnight. People were walking back to cars and had given up on service. Waited with my mother nearly 80 years old. It wasn’t good enough, for what your charging you should be able to afford another bus.

I booked surface parking in advance and I had two issues: 1. When I arrived in the car park there were too few spaces for the number of cars that had been admitted. I, and several other customers, had to park on verges, in trolley bays, etc. No doubt we were all worried about what we would find on our return. Thankfully, my car had not been scraped. 2. On exit, my pre-booking did not register and the machine showed a debit of £130. I called the helpline and a very polite gentleman sorted it out for me but it was stressful nonetheless.

Signage from arrivals back to the medium stay car park is very poor. I found myself walking along the road. Also my ticket was badly printed leading to me having trouble getting out, as apparently did the car in front of me, leading to a further delay of several minutes.

Express check in procedure was somewhat chaotic and by no means express. There was nowhere to leave the car as the area was queued with vehicles which meant a delay in checking in - definitely not the service I had booked or expected. Car collection involved walking some distance with luggage to where the car was parked - far easier using the old system where you got off at the bus stop nearest your car. Cars mileage trip had been reset on collection of car which is suspicious- would much prefer to have not left car keys with the car and for that reason I would not use the express car parking service again.

Despite pre-paying weeks ago, my ticket was rejected and payment of £130 demanded (I paid c £40 for 3 days. Had to reverse, go to machine and ring somebody to get out. Poor show after a long journey.

Your information was very confusing added to the fact I had requested a wheelchair for my wife and did not happen even when returning from Canada
