“Plane parking not walking distance. Buses are not as frequent as you would expect so have to wait a bit. Car park has 2 bus stops so par near them or expect a wee walk.”
“The parking is expensive at Edinburgh airport. I normally travel from Glasgow a couple of times a year, which has more options and is more reasonable. Also you have to pay £2 to use a trolley for your cases. The airport at the moment is under renovation and my experience is that it is not clean. I was disappointed in Edinburgh airport, especially as this is the first experience for a lot of tourists when they arrive in Scotland.”
“I was left waiting at the barrier for several minutes upon departure. I had pre-booked and pre-paid for parking however when entering the ticket on departure it read that £180 was due. I then pressed the intercom and was waiting 6-7 minutes before someone answered to correct the situation and lift the barrier.”
“Ended up having to pay £7 to exit the car park and we never wasted time getting in there. Our flight wasnt delays it was the getting the baggage and the security in newcastle that took all the time over an hour and for that we got charged £7 on top of the £90 paid for pre parking.
Sad when you plan ahead and still get stung.”
“Easy access to the airport from long stay. Disappointed to have to drive about the whole long stay car park finding cars not park in proper spaces / abandoned to eventually find a very tight parking space. Lots of other drivers looking very frustrated not being able to fined a space to park. Not what you need when starting your holiday.”
“I booked parking with Edinburgh Airport Parking. Unfortunately my wife had an accident with my car the day before we were due to park. I tried to contact you but, unfortunately, the online chat service was not waorking. I did email that day to inform you that we would not be able to use the car park as our car could not be driven. I requested a refund. To date, 5 days later, I have not had any response. I have no idea if you will refund or not. Maybe this message may get a response.”
“We ended up walking from the plane parking to the terminal building as we waited that long for the shuttle bus and there was quite a wait when we came home to collect the car.”
“Parked in mid stay which we didn’t find easy to get to with all the cones etc our fur the RHS. Found space to park ok but on the way out when I put my ticket in ( prepaid) it demanded £100. Had to speak to someone on the intercom who kindly let me out once I’d given him my car reg .”

“At entry there was no ticket given, this caused issues at exit. Very unpleasant. The car park is very far away from terminal. When I was leaving there was a massive queue of cars at 10 am. The road layout is rubbish and should be faster to get out.”
