“Easy to access and no issues with car park. However for £70 for 1 day I'd expect the lifts to all work & the toilets clean, toilets were disgusting and 1 lift wasn't working!”
“The multi story parking is now too expensive considering there are so many cars parked in the disabled bays who are not displaying a blue badge. Surely you can take some action to deal with this”
“Very convenient
Not good when we returned as I was with my 82 year old mum and we had to pull our cases up a small incline to the farthest part of the car park
I thought they would have moved the car nearer”
“Experience fine. A bit expensive particularly when booked and paid for well in advance. Not easy to find a space and signs indicating free spaces not accurate at all. I was emailed the bar code needed to use fasttrack security after I had travelled… had to rely on goodwill of staff to receive something I’d paid for.”
“The multi storey car park would be SO much better if there were luggage trolleys available. We travel with two suitcases, hand luggage each and two sets of golf clubs. I always have to rely on someone randomly leaving a trolley by the lifts or, I have to go down in the lift to ground level to get a trolley. This is far from ideal.
In my experience, there are never any trolleys in the ‘ ‘trolley parks’.”
“We arrived at the car park to step out into a puddle of thick oil at the boot of our car and on return we waded through puddles of water to get to the car park during rain. Not a good experience. What would visitors to Scotland think?”
“Having booked for the more expensive car park we found ourselves in the further away long stay. The gentleman whom I spoke to on the intercom was helpful. He tried to explain how to get to where we should be. At 4:30 am I’m not at my best. He said he could change things and we could stay - much relief on my part. It’s 2 years since I’ve driven into the airport and things seemed to have changed. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to say what our experience was.”
“It’s not particularly expensive for airport parking (particularly compared to Glasgow!) but it isn’t cheap. Also there are a few odd things that are irritating, such as the ‘wrong car park’ message I got when entering, despite being in the car park I booked, and an inability to accurately count the number of free spaces in each floor. But it’s ok.”
“I’ve used this service in the past and was completely happy with it. This time, my car was meant to be parked in the disabled bay on my return but it wasn’t. I was really disappointed with this.”
“The terminal car park needs a complete upgrade with better signage. It needs to be completely re tarmacked.
Otherwise it is secure but a complete nightmare to navigate and move suitcases over the uneven tarmac.”
“Parking easy but fast track security cramped and not so fast. Departure via gate 27 cramped and pretty chaotic with 4 flights gathering in a very confined space.”
“I would have given a higher mark but on departure, having put my ticket in the machine said I owed £256. I went to another machine which said the same do I had to ring the customer service bell and speak to someone who, after some time having asked for my registration number, raised the barrier. This was an unnecessarily stressful end to my trip. What about the much lauded number plate recognition?”
“Service is good, but on picking my car up l found it really difficult to get into my car as the spaces are so tight,l had to basically slide in sideways, and be careful of the car to the side of me,not ideal”
“Man on the intercom was lovely as I had made a mistake on my booking. Change of plans meant that I had to take a later flight back, but no way to update and extend the car park booking. Should be something...”
“Car park was fine, spaces were an OK size.
Bus was in the car park when we arrives so no waiting, but as there was only 2 bus stops in the whole car park, it was quite a walk. Other airport car parks have lots more stops.
When we got to the terminal we found that there was quite a long walk - Glasgow drops you off just outside the door.
We arrived back at 2am, cold ad raining and the long walk to the bus stop was not great. waited there for 15 mins, so I ssume that we had just missed the bus.
Back at the car park, there was another long walk in the wet and cold.
Barriers recognised the numberpalte and we were away - that was good.
Overall having used other carparks owned by the airport, there is way too much walking involved for a park and ride. You dont have to walk as far at airports with park and ride.
Dont think we will use this one again.”
“It took a whole to find a space but eventually I found one in the expansion area of the plane parking. The spaces were narrow and I've a small Fiesta. When I arrive back someone had parked at an angle and had scraped my car. I found it difficult to get out as they were parked up against my car. It would be a real challenge for those with a small child. I'm planning to take a public bus to the airport during the school holidays because that was an ordinary weekend. I can imagine it will be a nightmare when so many families are travelling. The shuttle bus were very friendly and the buses were regular.”
