“Pick up by bus at 6.30am very quick, 5 minutes waiting only, 5 stars, pick up at 4pm pretty poor as had to wait nearly 20 minutes for bus to take us back to car, another bus was parked and waiting in car park and our driver had words with him to assist with pickups! Only 2 stars for return, overall 3. Have used Plane Parking many times and this was the first I had to wait so long, glad I wasn't waiting to get a plane.”
“When I arrived at the airport the machine gave me a ticket and didn’t appear to recognise I’d pre booked. On leaving 2 days later the machine requested a payment of £180. I buzzed the intercom and was let through but no explanation given. However I was pleased it was dealt with quickly.”

“All parking - expensive. Confusing direction signage. Traffic congestion. Poor state of access roads.
Long Stay specific - expensive, difficult to find spaces, exit route can back up due to traffic congestion. Good access to terminal. ANPR system works well.”
“The pre-booking process was straight forward enough. However, as this was my first time using Edinburgh Airport Parking, I would have preferred better signage for the actual Terminal Parking. As it happens, I’m sure I may have strayed into the wrong car parking area. Fortunately, however, everything seemed to work out fine in the end. Problem was, on arrival at the airport, impatient drivers were queued up behind me. Whilst I was attempting to read signs, it stressed me out so much that I was forced to take a wrong turning. Apologies, if I was parked in the wrong area. I’m sure I would be better prepared next time, having now witnessed the layout of all the car parks - Terminal, Long Stay and Short Stay.”
“I find it hard to believe how expensive it is to reserve parking at the airport through the airport itself! Great to have the options you offer but ridiculously expensive in my view.”
“Not being from east was bit difficult to find and when we did couldn't find parking slot drive around for over 15 minutes luckily we where there with time to spare not enough blue badge spaces and had to park quite fare from pick up bay”

“Having paid in advance for our 10 day stay in mid car park, on return from our holiday we inserted the ticket in the machine to allow our exit, only to be asked to pay £460!! On contacting the operator this was quickly resolved and barrier lifted. Unsure how this happened as the operator after a few checks was aware of our registration number. Surely there should be some number recognition in place?”
“Thankfully I watched the You Tube video on how to get to the “Plane parking” car park several times- so finding it wasn’t difficult. There were stones on the pathways that made it difficult to pull my suitcase over. There are no toilets there, so make sure you go before you leave as the waiting time for the bus and the journey to the airport can add up. Lifting my case onto the bus was difficult and awkward. Edinburgh airport is quite hellish and you’re dropped off a fair distance from the check in desks. I found it stressful and frustrating that it’s impossible to find any online info on what to do on the return journey. It is however, well signposted at baggage collection area and easy to see the bus stop from the exit.”
