First time parking in long stay parking, don’t think I’d choose to do this again if there was other options, a bit of a nightmare getting out, after pre paying it was trying to charge me a further £90 when leaving. Pressed the button, took a while for someone to answer but they then sorted it, which was fine, apparently cameras didn’t catch my car arriving. Not as smooth as when I parked in fast park.

Parking was easy to find and as described only 3/4 mins walk to the terminal. However upon leaving the automated machine tried to charge us £130 for 3 days parking when I had already pre paid and booked the car in. Surely the automated camera regocnition should scan number plate and accept we had already paid.

Used fast park on many occasions and have had a good experience, unfortunately the last 2 times when we have arrived and the keys were not available for collection.The most recent occasion we proceeded to the reception as directed on the screen to be told a driver would bring our car down - waited 10 mins in the cold with kids for the car to be brought down.Not the experience I expected when I booked here to get a quick transaction from leaving airport to collecting car.

Parking absolutely fine and great spaces! Online system was a bit of a shambles, changed our registration 6 weeks ago and didn’t pick it up and had to wait to get our cause it thought we were due over £200 for 3 days!

On departure I put my ticket in machine and it informed me I owed £355 , had to call for help to cancel this and open barrier , this was all pre booked and paid for

Happy enough with the price and the ease of getting a space, however was disappointed when I tried to leave and the machine wanted to charge me £125 to exit the barrier. Then took 20 mins waiting for someone to answer the buzzer to help.

This is the second time I've prepaid and parked. On the exit I put my card in and it tells me I I owe 240 quid and I had call the help line.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit and I understand the frustration that it causes. We were delayed on Friday 24th and flew on Saturday instead due to the storm and had communications with Edinburgh Airport about this with no issues whatsoever. We returned on Friday 31st as per planned and tried to exit car park about 8pm and was told we had an outstanding balance of £305 yes £305! Not what we need after an already delayed holiday. Thankfully the guy who we contacted fixed the issue very quickly, and we were free to leave. No issues with any communication we had with either of the people we spoke to MASSIVE issue with being told we had a £305 bill for 7 days parking. Thanks Garry.

The booking is really straight forward and in the past I have had great experience with booking and driving in and out of the long stay with no issues. However, last two trips have involved me stuck at the exit barrier with a hefty bill of £90+ for one days stay coming up on the gate...this has been overridden by the attendant on call but has been worrying both times that something has gone wrong??

The multistory car park was fine, however, if you take the first turn into the airport, (highland showground) as directed by satnav, you do not pick up the signage for that car park and you have no choice except to drive through the drop off ... which changes £6 for the privilege. Take the second turn into the airport from the main road and you will see the signage at that point.

I have to booked a 5 day's long stay parking because my flight was cancelled about the storm and bad weather. After my first booking i try to contact with someone i send a email's i tried to call and leave a voicemail message without any response... So i pay twice for 1 day difference.. yes i try to contact with airport and separate company for parking aswell..

Car parking was perfect, barrier on departing had an ANPR issue and was not working, took 5 minutes to get out of car park after a long day.

Booking in advance etc was very straightforward and easy to do with clear instructions on how to get to your chosen parking area. On trying to exit the car park after returning to Edinburgh, I put the ticket in the machine and it advised that I had to pay £170 despite having pre paid many weeks ago. The person on the intercom resolved the issue straight away and I was on my way but it was still a shock to be asked for that sort of money having already paid well in advance.

i have used the parking at the airport for some time know and the last three times. i get to the gate to go out and always asks me to pay. THen i have to wait till its sorted out at your end

Long term parking is in a walkable distance. However, it is quite annoying when the barriers do not recognise my number plate and I am presented with a £120 charge and am delayed leaving the parking area until it is resolved (just what you want after a day of planes/trains/automobiles and an hour+ drive home ahead of you).

Everything was fine until I tried to get out and the machine kept telling me my ticket was in upside down . No matter how I turned it , it told me the same . Eventually someone answered when I pressed the help button . The usual problem I have with this service is they try to charge me extra as I leave . This has happened 3 times . The only reason to use it is because it is close

I had a couple of issues. It was difficult to find the car park (I felt signage around the airport was poor, it was dark and hard to read the signs). It wasn’t clear the instructions whether I had to enter the code I had into a machine to get out (machines turned out to be to pay for trolleys). When I did exit the car park and inserted my ticket the machine didn’t recognise my number plate and tried to charge me £150. Luckily the staff at the airport car parks were very helpful.
