Had to contact Customer services via phone on terminal.after usual shouting above noise of aircraft issue resolved and able to leave car park”
“Easy access and assistant very helpful. The only issue I experienced that caused me to mark down my score was that on returningredients to my car the mirrors had been forced in .Eventually I have managed to get them in the right position.”
“The only way the parking works is by the staff who man the help desk botton on the turnstile entering the car park. I pre-book and it never ever works. The staff always have to assist and are very helpful. Sometimes you can’t get a space, have to drive around and around, some people have to abandon their car at the kerb so they don’t miss their flight. I wish you could sort this out.”
“The long stay carpark is easy to find but the pedestrian access is not clearly signed - actually we didn’t see any directions just a notice to use the pedestrian route. We left the carpark at 4pm on a Friday - it was very difficult to get out. Both the mid stay and terminal parking are much easier to use than this carpark.”
“I used fastpark and the experience arriving and parking at the airport was seamless with staff available to assist if required. Unfortunately I had to travel home a day early and despite me emailing fastpark in advance (as per contact instructions provided online) my car was not available to collect on my arrival. The staff member told me I was not due until the next day therefore clearly nobody was manning the emails and this meant a lengthy delay while my car was located and brought the pick up point. Not ideal at 2am after a long day travelling.”
“Very confusing exit. Had to press to speak for a ticket at the 1st barrier. Had to speak again at the 2nd barrier as the charge was £7 before I was waved through.”
“The service is good but my car was incredible dusty when I got it back. I even got it cleaned before the holiday and the charging customers for a trolley is a bloody joke!”
“Proximity to the airport terminal is very good, however each time I have used this service there seems to an issue with the prebooking service tying in with the entry and exit gates.. this was promptly resolved via the gate intercom but it would be better if it just worked. Covered walkways would be a benefit in bad weather.”
“The facility itself is close enough to the airport. The big problem with this car park is that people don't park in spaces and when I returned after holiday my car was blocked in. The only way to get out was to mount the kerb and had I had a lower-slung car my car would have been damaged. Car park attendants are required.”
“Love how easy it is to book but prices seem to have gone up recently. I book a lot so its disappointing to see how much more expensive it is. Works out a lot cheaper to just get a taxi now”
“Plane parking is an easy cost effective option but a few improvements can make it better.
Additional stops would help and I have always had to use the intercom to get out - even though I rebook.”
“Car park was really full and difficult to find parking. Also it was very difficult to find the airport car park. Google maps kept directing me to pick up and drop off. The signs need to be bigger and the maps also need to changed.”
“Broadly happy but I am eternally perplexed by the incompetent signage on approaching the car park. Why do you insist on using signs that you cannot see in the dark, and which are unlit.
People approaching the airport often do not know the layout of the airport. So why use signs that are coloured and unlit in a way that makes it almost impossible to work out where to head for.”
“Used Fast Park for first time. No issues with system itself but car covered in bird excrement when picked up. Also, electric door mirror had been pushed closed and required a re-set. The latter concern may/may not have been caused by car park team however the car was covered in excrement whilst stored on yourbpremises”
“reasonably priced, but choose your parking carefully. Plane Parking only has 2 pick up/drop off points. We were unaware of this and parked near the entrance where we thought there was a stop as a bus was parke there. on return the bus drove past here to stop no.1 then away further down to stop 2. i asked if the was stop near the entrance, driver said this was last stop, We were left to haul our cases away back to the entrance/exit ar 2:30 am, we were lucky it was dry. i would NOT park here again”
“Car was safe, no issues. Finding a space is difficult as very busy.On our way out of the car park our ticket that we had paid for was requesting an outstanding balance of £500, which was not the case as we paid in advance of parking the car. It was sorted at the barrier by calling the operator and outstanding balance removed as an error. This caused alot of stress with small kids in the middle of night trying to exit the car park! Clearly a communication error that could jave been avoided!”
“Couldn’t find the fast parking area I had paid for in advance. Ended up quite far away from terminal.
Was asked to pay an additional £18 on leaving. When I queried it, ticket was returned & we were let out. No apology.”
