Last year I took 105 flights and used the airport valet parking most weeks. I stopped using valet parking because some of the staff were simply unhelpful and rude. Others I have to say were very helpful. I now use the surface parking and often the machines don't work. So definitely room for improvement.

Disappointingly the Post Code indicated on the map on the web site does not lead you to the Parking area, instead it leads you to the Airport drop off, which once your committed to results in a £1 charge. Second time round, I resulted to following written directions. Other than that all other aspects of the Parking experience were superbly efficient. Many thanks.

Never seems to pick up my registration number even though have booked online. Just adds time when leaving the car park...

I had booked and paid for this car park so I could take the expressway into the airport directly, but could not find a space on level two, therefore had to park on level three, which in theory found it was more difficult to use the expressway. Having said that being able to use the fastrack through the security was a big saving of time.

Parking was ok, until the exit terminal indicated a further £140 was due before I could leave. Having pre-paid for parking, this was an unexpected surprise towards the end of our travels. Needless to say that it was some form of error which required a call to the ever busy assistance operator.

Departure was good with bag drop & check on documents. On arrivals we landed 30 minutes early. This was taken up by bus trip Round the airport and going through passport control which lasted About 45 minutes . It needs a re-think.

Easy to get to, close to the airport and regular buses to the terminal took the stress out of getting to the airport, we knew we would be there in plenty of time. However when leaving the airport although we pre-booked and pre-paid for parking the automatic barrier did not recognise this and we had to call the intercom to be allowed out, this has happened several times when we have used Edinburgh airport car park. Also this time it took 20mins to get through to someone and a further 10mins for them to find our details meaning we had to wait half an hour to get out of the car park which wasn't ideal as it was late at night and we wanted to get home.

The multi-story parking with included fast track was good. Not so good is being bused out to airplanes early in the morning and late at night...

Not so much happy, exit very badly signposted and asked the bus driver if there was another stop and he said no but then proceeded to stop at another bus stop. It was dark and I was alone so very disappointed

you could make the multi storey parking signs more consumer friendly , in the dark mornings it can be confusing leading to using wrong lanes please assume people are basically dumb and can easily miss the signs as I am a person that only use your facility a couple of times per year it is a case of trying to locate when other cars are jammed up my bumper at the rear

Car parking is very convenient in the multi storey or tarmac next to the terminal. It's great being able to walk out of the terminal and straight to your car 100m away. The price can be very good if you book well ahead but the number plate recognition rarely works so you get the alarming "You owe £300" message at the ticket barrier as you try to leave but the car park staff on the intercom sort it quick and let you out if you have your booking number handy. On the downside the airport's passport checking for arrivals is terrible, we've often had to queue for 20-30 minutes due to understaffed, inadequate facilities. There are now e-passport gates so adults have a shorter wait but families with children are penalised as kids can't use them so it makes for a miserable end to happy holidays arriving at Edinburgh if its busy. First world problems...

Airport fine... my problem is delayed flight meant factored in time to get luggage and get back to car which had paid for terminal parking meant we needed to pay additional money... which leads to chaos at the barrier with other cars parked ,, machines not accepting certain kinds of notes... after long tiring journey this is exactly what you do not need. Exit and payment organisation needs to be reconsidered so you do not have to reverse away from payment barriers to pay
