“Although the bus system is quick and efficient, the driver on our return was in such a hurry that he didn't give passengers enough time to collect suitcases and get off. We missed our stop and my wife was thrown to the floor when he set off abruptly. She has recently had a hip replacement so this could have been very serious. When we did finally manage to get off I had to shout at him to wait as I was struggling to get my suitcase off the luggage rack. A very unhelpful and potentially dangerous episode. Saturday 10th June, 2017 at approx 2315 hrs.”
“The spaces in the main surface car park are, in my opinion, too small. My newish car ended up with scratches from somebody's luggage. Also expensive.”
“This is the 2nd time that we have had issues with the ticket machine accepting our ticket. On both occasions we have had to change the registration of the car which will be parked. Although this was done many days in advance of us parking the car the revised registration has not been accepted resulting in us being asked for payment. This has been dealt with quite swiftly at the barrier but it's just a pain after a long flight.”
“It is incredibly annoying when you have pre booked and then it doesn't recognise your number playe. Then you have to wait at the barrier, hold other people up etc. This issue has been going on for ever”
“A party member had mobility issues and as such found the long stay parking stance very far away from the arrivals/departures stations. There were no wheelchairs to be seen anywhere, apart from the return journey, when we eventually managed to get a wheelchair at the tram display. This was in contrast to the airport at Larnaca where they know how to deal with people with mobility issues. This issues will make us think twice about booking our flights through Edinburgh again.”
“Always use this car park but when trying to park on arrival found great difficulty in finding a space. Several people had parked outwith spaces so would appear to have been an ongoing problem.
On return had to wait at least 10 minutes in torrential rain for transfer bus.”
“I advance book parking for the multi-storey facility with fast-track security. The sensors used to pick up number plates regularly don't work and I get charged the standard rate rather than the lower pre-book fee. it is inconvenient to have to sort this with on-site staff.”
“Wait for bus to return to car park was almost 20 mins. As the return flight time was delayed I was then charged an extra £5 to exit the car park through no fault of mine.”
“I booked the parking some time ago. Until now I haven't experienced any problems finding a space. When I arrived at the Long Stay Parking on 3 June, I had to circle round for about 10 minutes before I found a space - and I only found one because someone was leaving. There were cars parked in places where there weren't any parking bays so I obviously wasn't the only one finding it difficult. I was fortunate that I had left plenty of time to get to the airport or I would have been late. It's Secure parking for me next time!”
“Arriving back in Edinburgh very late and pouring with rain our pick up was the last at the bus rank. Signs for exiting the long stay car park were hard to see and the ticket barrier was dimly lit.”

“Very limited space. Booked 2 cars in but only room for one. Other car had to park in another car park. This meant our party was split up and caused us some difficulties”
“I was charged an extra £12.50 for my parking. The arrival time I had input was wrong when I made the booking, however when I checked online what it would cost to arrive at that time it was still the quoted £39.99 (in fact that was the cost for the entire day, even if I'd arrived 15 hours later). Not sure how you can justify that cost. Pretty unhappy. Overall a good service, easy to find and buses were efficient.”

Furthermore I had already paid for parking and the machine tried to issue a £150 parking fee to me.”

“I booked online for the long stay car park but when I arrived there wasn't a single space in the car park. I ended up, like many others having to park my car up on the kerb for the week. Obviously more tickets sold than spaces!”
