“Very easy to book on line and easy to park and check your car in, only downside is when you return if you use one of the airport trolleys for your suitcases there is no where to leave your trolley when you are finished with it”
“The car was presumably parked under trees/bushes when moved from the Fast Park as it was returned covered over wide areas in small birds' excrement. This is not acceptable as it should be returned in the same clean condition it was dropped off in, as far as is reasonably possible.”
“We always use the fast park at Edinburgh airport. It is right next to the terminal building so no need for shuttle buses. As a wheelchair user and blue badge holder I am directed by staff to special parking at the entrance to the fast park building. It is warm, clean and staffed by friendly, helpful people. Within a few minutes of parking my car I have deposited my keys and arrived at the terminal. The key safe system is very straightforward and my car is always ready and waiting for me on my return. Booking through Edinburgh airport gives me cheaper and much closer parking than any other booking site.”
“I was rushing and found it tricky to follow the signs. The airport staff weren't the most helpful and got snippy me with me for going the wrong way round the car park.
However, after arriving in mid stay, everything was fine.”
“Upon entry the machine at the barrier issued a ticket with the incorrect registration number. Plenty of spaces in the car park so we parked up. We then went to inform and enquire about the error at the kiosk on the ground floor. Reassured from a member of staff not to worry and to enjoy our holiday. Told that if there was a problem upon exit to press the help button. Upon exit the machine at the barrier said we were due £920.00. Pressed the help button. Informed the member of staff about the situation. Gave them our correct registration number. He asked us to confirm our booking. Once our pre-booking information was received, we inserted the incorrect ticket. The friendly member of staff was able to correct the error and the barrier lifted. Both members of staff were a credit to the airport. They both reassured us and put us at ease after 2 long journeys when we were stressed and tired.”
“All fine apart from exit process where I was asked to pay an extra £180 for my stay. Fortunately staff member on intercom was able to raise barrier and allow exit without having to pay extra amount.”
