It was incredibly busy we had to drive around for a while before we could find a space. Then when we were exiting there was long delay too. We have used long stay before and had been pleased with the facilities but this time it was terrible.

Difficult to find a space, cameras unable to read the number plate which was shown as hashes because they cannot pick 1111, a known problem.

I have given a poor rating as had a lot of hassle when we returned to collect our car being told our booking was wrong and we would have to pay a further £170. Then told we would would need to pay extra £38 when we refused along with another 2 car owners we were eventually told we could go to the barrier and we could exit the car park without charge this at 1 am on a cold night with children was not what I would call good customer service. We found out we had all booed at roughly the same time online and must have been a glitch on the booking.

I would like to comment (even though we were given full directions) having three car parks with in close proximity of each other that all state 'Long stay...' is completely unnecessary and very confusing when arriving at Edinburgh Airport. Secondly, upon arrival in the car park, there were no signs stating which areas/zones had space (as other airport car parks often do) and this would all passengers easily locate a space. Thirdly, when returning from the terminal by bus, there were no PA announcements by the driver for through an automated system stating which bus stop we or any other passenger were/was at, which would have been a huge help, especially as it wasn't always easy to see the number because the bus was full. I finally wanted to add that a 10 minute drop off/pick up period time limit is far too short a time limit. It would be better for it to be extended to 20/30 minutes to allow a much better time window of collecting or dropping off passengers because the logistics of collecting a passenger/s within 10 minutes is likely to cause additional forward thinking and planning.

Edinburgh Airport Parking introduced their Express System whereby you leave your car and keys at a designated location and the staff park your car while you make your way to the airport. Unfortunately the practice did not work. Not enough staff to move cars, not enough spaces to leave cars, and not enough space in the car park - lack of communication between the parties. Upon return you are expected to check you car for damage prior to leaving the car park which difficult at 11:30 pm with no suitable lights.

Booked in 2 cars for early morning. barrier did not recognise either reg numbers. held up traffic and a bus. they were not amused and neither were we at 4;30 in the morning.. Had to contact airport parking whilst in Corfu so that we did not have to pay twice by using the parking ticket we had to take to open the barrier................

Major problems when arrived. 40 minute wait for the bus which was full. Very slow to load. Second bus arrived but simply waited behind the first one while it tried to take everyone. Ended up up 15 minutes late for the last check-in. Fortunately plane was late so did make the flight. No issues on return - everything went very smoothly. Clearly failure to plan properly for a busy period

pre booked parking in terminal area - outside , I cant believe that tickets are still sold to allow a car park to be full ?

We arrived back at 0200 hrs waited 10 mins for a bus back to parking area. Nothing appeared so we walked the 15 mins to it and so did a few others. No buses past as we walked. Very poor it will take more than 10% off to use this service again.

We arrived late at 2 am on Monday. It took 35mins to get our bags. The bus to the parking was packed and when we got to the "Express" parking there was a queue at the hut. The guy behind the desk was writing out yellow slips by hand for the people in front of us. Anticipating a delay I had booked to pickup at 2 but I had to wait for 15mins to get my keys. He handed them over immediately. I then had to wait in a queue at the exit gate as people argued about their parking fee for another 15 mins.There were not enough staff and I won't use this service again. What are these questions about below? Management needs to look at itself!!

It is difficult to find a space in the long term car park. Some indication of free spaces would be helpful. The numberplate recognition software is poor. The past twice it has failed to correctly recognise our number and so on exit we have been asked to pay rather than the barrier opening. In the dark it is hard to see the button to call the attendant to let us out.

Arrival no problem the system worked. Collection was a bit of a joke,no cars ready still to be brought to the car park. Seems that if you get annoyed as one customer did his car was brought before the time he was due while others who should have been there had to wait.We waited about 25 minutes for the car to be collected and brought down. When the car was delivered we were told clearly it was in bay 18 no car in bay 18 after a search of the area it was found in 81. Not a good advert for Edinburgh Airport!!

We booked the outside parking at the airport but when we arrived there were no spaces. We ended up leaving the car in a spot that was not really a space (many other cars were like this too). There was no choice and no-one was around to ask.

Booked as a travel agent direct! Booked the long stay express (as used this before), arrived to be told - along with others that it had been over booked and we had been upgraded to Mid Stay! (advised that my voucher would still be valid for this car park). Gave the wrong directions for Mid Stay and we were lost! Once parked - all okay - But on return we along with others struggled to get out of the car park as it was looking for payment - every car had to wait to speak to an operator and wait to be let out?? Not ideal when you want to get home.... so a bit disappointing! As mentioned I had used the express before with NO issues.

I was very disappointed that the valet parking has been removed without any notification as to why. I used the multi storey plus Fast track security. Whilst the system is ok the actual use is terrible. Signage to the multistorey is very bad and the signage from the parking to the fast track is ridiculous. A shambles and the operative on duty at the fast track was not interested to the point of abuse.

We paid beforehand for the long stay car park and arrived to find no spaces available. After driving around and searching for around 25 minutes finally found someone who worked there who told that we could go to the mid stay car park instead. Fortunately, we’d allowed extra time before our flight. Of course this was not straight forward when returning to car after holiday as the original ticket (for long stay) wasn’t accepted. It was 1am and we were tired and just wanted to get home but had more delay as had to explain through the speaker system as to why we had parked there.

I struggled to find a space going around the car park for 20 minutes before seeing someone leaving, even the ends of rows and no parking spaces were full.
