Several positive experiences previously but experienced a 45 minute wait to get bus back to car park last night. In addition we were crammed into the bus when it did collect us. There was a long queue and all it would have taken was for another bus to be on duty to clear the queue.

we arrived two hours ahead of our flight, but ended up spending >20 minutes of going round and round the surface car park trying to find a spot. Eventually, after going up and down EVERY aisle, we spotted someone leaving, and ignored the arrows to grab the spot. Literally the ONLY spot in the entire carpark. Surely one of the benefits of pre-booking is to take away the stress of getting a spot? Not so. In the amount of time we spent trying to find a parking spot, we could have parked further away, for less, and still gotten to the terminal at the same time. Not impressed.

We waited for a bus from the long stay car park for 25 minutes and then walked to the terminal. Fortunately we had enough time. Return journey was fine.

Prebooked parking on terminal surface car park. Om arrival there were no free space at all in the car park. End circling the car park for ages until we were lucky enough to see someone leave. In future you should NOT allow booking of car park spaces in excess of the number of spaces you have. When booking dates and times are given so this should be possible.

Booked the long stay express but didn’t get this. On arrival all the lanes were full. No one came as we queued behind these. I eventually went to cabin and told it is overbooked every day by 8.30am so just to go and find a space elsewhere and keep my own keys. Disappointing and staff seem fed up with situation too.

We use this parking several times a year mainly due to the convenience when returning from our trips. However, it is becoming quite a regular pattern that we have to drive around trying to find a space and on two previous occasions we have nearly been late to check in due to the amount of time we spent looking for a non existent space. This latest experience had the wrong information for our registration on the actual ticket printed on entry to the carpark. When trying to leave the carpark at the end of our trip, the machine advised we were due to pay £155! The help button did get us out of the carpark after we had scrambled about getting our booking reference from our baggage - not something you want to be doing at 1.00 in the morning!

Having parked for many years at Edinburgh I am now put off at the ridiculous amount of time to find a parking space, then trying to leave! Taxi’s and customers all trying to leave car park then all the traffic can’t cope with the road out! I also noticed a new hotel and other building being constructed so even more traffic! It took so long to leave the car park I was worried my parking ticket would over run.

Chaos. What is the point of pre-booking if you can't get parked? There were no spaces in the short stay car parks. We drove round for 30 minutes and had to resort to following people as they came out of the terminal. It was a good job we had allowed time for the flight

We had booked parking in the surface car park and stated a pick-up time of 11.30pm. We use this car park often and were surprised that because our easyjet flight EZ813 from Gatwick was overdue by over 3 hours, we left the car park at 2.17am Monday morning, and were charged a surcharge of £10.00. I had assumed the car park checkout would have been aware that our flight was overdue and would have allowed for that at the check-out. We might have had a situation where we had no visa card or cash to pay the extra amount and would have been trapped in the airport for many hours. I suggest you look into this situation at your earliest.

Parking was handy for terminal, but unfortunately upon exit there was a lengthy delay. The infrasture is not really suitable for volume of traffic using the route. Parking cost more expensive than Glasgow.

Pre-booked for long stay express. Was at capacity on arrival so sent to mid stay. Mid stay also at capacity so sent to surface. Eventually got a space there but when returned from hols was asked to pay an additional £279! Happily intercom man let me escape at my pre-booked fee but it wasn't a satisfactory experience having made the effort to sort in advance. Will think twice next time.

Left car at express with no problems. HOWEVER when I returned, car was not ready for pick up!!!! It meant I had to wait for them to go get my car. So much for it being meet and greet and an express service. Whilst i was waiting it hapoened to others too. Very disappointed indeed.

Booked the long stay car park !Arrived a little earlier than I had anticipated, just as well because the car park was full and we spent 45 minutes inside waiting for some one to leave so we could park. Our first flight from Edinburgh airport as we normally use Glasgow. The airport and pick up points were excellent and I do like the airport. Sorry to say that the experience and the possibility of missing our flight left a bad taste in the mouth.

Were told (Tuesday about 10am) at the Long Stay that it was full and redirected to the Mid Stay. We had to speak to the gate intercom and it was difficult to make out the official, but think he said to search for a space and failing this to go to the Terminal Surface car park, wherever that is. Just before leaving we spotted a space. Then we had to find out how to get to the terminal. Fortunately some workmen were passing and told us that there was a bus stop nearby in the Long Stay, through a gate. From there we got to the terminal,. Just as well we had allowed time for traffic delays, but never thought to allow for airport parking delays. On our return we had to speak to the intercom again (once they answered) to explain our history in order to get out.

wanted to try out new valet express parking in the long term car park but it seems to have a few creases to iron out first! Signage is not good so you arrive and don't know what to do. check in was easy enough. half hour queue for a bus on the way back - there must have been 100 people in it - some with huge amounts of luggage so even when the bus came we had to wait for a second one. no instruction as to what to do when you got back to car park after either though man in hut did know exactly where car was and that was all straightforward but I felt for the family with 3 children under 5 and 10 bags that we helped onto the bus. could be good but some way to go first.

Booked the Terminal Multi Story car parking which is advertised as "Fully Flexible", however, when Easyjet decide to cancel our flight with 12 hours notice, I then find that the car parking which is "Fully Flexible" has a comment in the "small print", advising cancellations are not available within the last 24 hours. Therefore leaving me out of pocket !

We arrived on Friday 12th October at the Long Stay Car Park. As we parked up we saw two buses exit the car park. It was 30 minutes before a bus came back into the car park which is unacceptable. When we arrived at the terminal the driver did not want to let the waiting passengers on board and suggested they walk, in the rain, through the mid stay car park rather than use the bus.

Due to the fact we were travelling with 2 small children (4 years and 3 months) we booked the Long Stay Express to remove the stress of parking the car and then having to get to the terminal. We arrived ahead of our scheduled time slot but were told that the space was full and that we were being upgraded....to be allowed to park our own car. This was the exact event we had wanted to avoid and the lack of empathy from the car park attendant was clear...he clearly did not care about the inconvenience this had caused to the customer. In our decade of using Edinburgh Airport this is the worst experience we have had.

The actual parking was good and everything could have been OK had I not returned in wind and drizzle to find my car imprisoned behind a fence. It took fifteen minutes to find a way to get it out. Apparently repair works were planned and nobody knew. I was told that the person who eventually released the fence had been obliged to purchase a suitable wrench or there would have been no way to get out. NOT GOOD
