The actual parking was good and everything could have been OK had I not returned in wind and drizzle to find my car imprisoned behind a fence. It took fifteen minutes to find a way to get it out. Apparently repair works were planned and nobody knew. I was told that the person who eventually released the fence had been obliged to purchase a suitable wrench or there would have been no way to get out. NOT GOOD

Express check in was overbooked. Walk to pick up after a long flight is not great. On the plus side, car was as left!

Once again last Saturday evening (20/10) my pre-paid ticket would not let me exit the car park. This time requesting £75- it was £95 a few days earlier. The intercom operator did not seem that interested but did let me exit. I'm fed up of this happening time and again and will now look at other airport parking options / companies. As a regular user of Edinburgh Airport, I see standards slipping across the business: Dirty toilets, poor customer service in particular.

Used the new express long stay. Arrival was relatively straightforward to check in, although there should be a formal procedure for noting the condition of the vehicle on arrival (photos) to avoid any potential disputes on return. Our hand back on return was very poor - had to wait almost 2 hrs to be re-united with our vehicle. They should simply time the return of the vehicle to coincide with the time of arrival of the stated return flight.

Have used the car park many times before. Used Express parking for first time. Early morning flight on Sunday and had to wait what seemed like a long time and would have preferred walking if there was a suitable safe route. On return arrived at stated time only to be told car was still in lane but then 5 mins later told my car could not be found or the keys. Staff kept me informed and were clearly looking for car and keys which were found 5 mins later. Others seemed to have no problems. Not a huge amount of time to wait but doesn't help when you wait ages for bags, I do wish Edinburgh could be as good as other airports. What's with the weird questions in this review as if it was a parcel being delivered? How many days did the delivery take???

Parkking is parking, except when it is almost impossible to find a space. Lots of driving around and finally we were able to follow someone back to their car to take their space. This was mid morning on a Saturday.

When entering the Long Stay Car Park, found it very difficult to find the correct place to leave the car and finally ended up in a vacant space. Explained to the gentleman at reception who agreed that the signposting to get to the correct arrival place was very poor. Apart from that, everything else was fine

Hello. I took up the new valet type offer. I always park longstay and thought I’d give it a go. I’m afraid on initial arrival it took about 10mins to be seen and worse still on arrival back from holiday my car was boxed in so it took about 15mins to get my car back. Appreciate just teething on a new service but I think if you want people to pay extra it needs made much more efficient. Hope you find this constructive. Colin

Good value but the carpark wasn't very disabled friendly. No signs advising people to down the lift to get assistance. Disabled parking was no where near the part of the car park where the fast track bridge was.

Having pre-booked a car parking space at the airport, I was very disappointed to be charged an additional £4 on exit from the car park due to the fact that a conveyor belt at the airport had stopped working, causing a significant delay in uplifting our luggage

Arrived at the terminal car park at 4pm on a Friday. I couldn't find a parking space. I tried to circle round but couldn't because there was a queue backed up of cars either wishing to leave or also unable to find a parking space. I had to choose to sit in this queue or immediately loop back round where I knew there were no spaces and hope someone left. I did the latter (a few times). Eventually I spot a family getting into a car who take their sweet time before finally leaving. For the price charged this facility is poor. It's handy enough for the terminal but other than that has nothing in its favour.

The car park was overbooked when I arrived (having pre-booked myself) and I had to park on double yellow lines in the car park

It was good that we received an E-mail advising us when we were due to arrive however when we got there we found that the PLANE PARKING was closed. Nobody thought to tell us about this. we were directed back to the main car park and the people there told us just to park anywhere. When we got returned from holiday we tried to exit the park. Ticket into the machine and it said we were due to pay £170.00 for car parking that had been pre-paid. Contacted the office, they took a while to respond, and eventually, after some interrogation about car registration and name, we were allowed out of the carpark. This, in our opinion, was totally unacceptable.

The number plate reader (NPR) system need to be improved. My plate was miss read and only after about 10 minutes was it sorted out. I feel sorry for the folk queued up behind me. Would I use it again, probably, but I will be very careful to ensure that the ticket was correct, otherwise the system will charge you an arm and a leg.

The new express long stay parking was very disappointing. The main reason being that all the car lights had been altered. We arrived after midnight so this was very noticeable. Cannot understand why the lights had been changed. We usually use secure parks and will definitely be doing so in the future.

The surface car park was full I had to spend 10mins driving around looking for a space. Eventually found one as a car was leaving. It was on the furthest section away from the terminal. Which meant a long walk with cases on departure and arrival. Not what is advertised or expected

Despite having pre booked (mid car park) it took 15 mins to get a space, I had to wait on someone leaving in order to park my car

First time we used the multi story car park. Arrived back around midnight and by the time passport control and luggage collection was over it was just before 1.00a.m. Loaded and car and down to the exit barrier which didn't lift but a demand for £770.00 pounds. Yes, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY POUNDS. Bearing in mind Edinburgh Airport had taken full payment back in July. Pressed assistance button but got no reply. Only option to get out of the car park was to pay up. Money was credited the following day when I phoned but what would have happened if that amount wasn't on my card ?
