“Normally great but this time even though the flight was delayed no key was available and a staff member was rifling through a box of keys to find ours.
On leaving, the first gate normally opens but this time we had to grab a ticket and on the exit gate it demanded 7 pounds. We contacted the operator from the gate and he let us through
This has put the lid on us using the expensive Fast Park service in the future”
“ON RETURN FROM OUR HOLIDAY IN THE EARLY HOURS OF SUNDAY MORNING 6/4/25 WE HAD TO WAIT 1 HOUR BEFORE WE COULD GET OUR CAR.
THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE
IMMATERIAL OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES FAST PARK DID NOT GET THEIR PRIORITIES RIGHT IN GETTING THE CARS RETURNED TO THEIR OWNERS IN THE ORDER THEY RECEIVED THE RETURN TICKETS
WE FEEL A PARTIAL RETURN OF OUR PARKIN G FEE SHOULD BE RETURNED
BASED ON THIS WE WILL GIVE A REVIEW RATING OF 5”
“Have booked Fast Track parking many times but have been disappointed the last few times as car has been some distance from terminal and I have arrived late at night with other female travellers one of whom has mobility issues. I think I will not be using this option in the future.”
“Machine at barrier would not read my ticket on exit. Had to call for help. After a few mins checking member of staff opened the barrier remotely. Minor inconviemce I admit but this shouldn’t happen. I would be interested to know why the machine failed to read or what the problem was.”
“It was easy to park and walk to the airport didn't take that long but when I tried to get out of the car park I got a message saying that I have to pay £120 even when I booked it in advance and paid. Had to press the button to get help and get that resolved which caused unnecessary stressed.”
“Booked EV terminal parking & whilst it was easy to find the car park, I almost ended up in the multi-storey while trying to find a space. Signage for the different car park classifications is poor so you need to be very careful to avoid a surcharge. I had pre=booked an EV charging spot to test how this would work & after finding a space I then tried to confirm the costs. The only clear infromation was that an overstay would incur a £30 per day charge, but there were no staff to clarify whether this meant after my pre-booked stay or after the car was fully charged. Fortunately I had plenty of time so moved the car to a regular spot.”
“I have used the airport parking many times and have never had a problem, the last time though when I tried to exit, I put my ticket in the machine to be told I had to pay over £200, which was a shock as I had pre paid and was within my times. I spoke to an assistant via the exit barrier, who said it looked like my reg was not picked up on entering car park, fortunately he was able to resolve this and let me exit. It was still a bit of a shock to come back to.”
“Easy to find, good size parking spots
Small gripe that we made our way to the fast pass entrance and it was closed. This could be signposted before the walkway to save the walk - also made the parking very expensive when this benefit not available”
“Fastpark is convenient, but someone, presumably an employee who moved the car to its pickup position, had been fiddling with the car’s controls-heater and fan turned up to max and sliding compartment covers all open. I find that a bit disturbing.”
“Not signposted clearly. We ended up going in wrong entrance. On leaving we were told we owed over £300 for parking. Buzzed the intercom and eventually somebody answered and lifted the barrier.”
“every time is an issue on a gate, as soon I ve put card in ask me to pay a crazy amount of £ , think is I always booked and pay with advance and when you call costumer service they questioned you like you are the criminal and take far to long ro solve that. Been using 3 times this year and happened twice.”
“It’s a piece of tarmac open to the elements on which to park a car, what do you want us to say about it? It’s a bigly car park, probably the best car park I’ve ever parked in. It’s got the best tarmac anyone has ever seen.”
“I didn’t find it easy to get to in the dark, and this meant I had to go through the drop off to get out, didn’t even stop and still had to pay £6!!
Once I got there, parked up, all was fine and it was a 5 minute walk to the terminal.
Upon leaving, it was also dark and I put my ticket in and it told me I had an outstanding balance of £150!! I had to use the intercom to get this sorted before I could get out.
Overall, average experience but I would use it again for the price and convenience.”
“was very simple to navigate and was affordable for the length of time i stayed. However had a problem trying to leave as the ticket machine tried to make me pay and additional 100 pounds despite leaving earlier than originally planned and already having paid online. I rang the assistance bell and they sorted this out”
