“We have used the long stay car parking a few times now and find it so convenient. Unfortunately it was a little more stressful this time as we needed to keep driving around until someone else left a space as there were none left. Unsure what the situation is when this happens but it would make me think twice about booking again.”
“I always use Fast Park but was disappointed this time as it was over booked so had to use the multistorey car park. Hopefully next time everything will be more organised!”

I found a space and the car was secure for the week.
I pre-booked parking and was aware that ANPR was in use so was surprised to have to take a ticket. On the way back it felt like the bus driver waited until he could see a group of us emerge from the terminal before driving away without us. I was not impressed at 2am to put my ticket into the barrier and be asked for an additional £180. Thankfully the attendant sorted it out. Just over £50 for a week isn't bad value, but £180 would have been too much. Make sure you pre-book.”
“The return locker said our car wasn’t ready. It turned out our car keys had been put in the wrong Tupperware box, which took a while to find and so was very frustrating. The staff were very helpful and apologetic but I can’t understand how this can happen and it puts me off using FastPark again.”
“When we tried to leave the exit machine said we owed £220! Even though I had paid online previously and was only £70 for 4 days or so. Luckily though we managed to get someone on the intercom - it was 1.30am in the morning and they let us out! This has happenned 2 times before so come on get this sorted please thanks.”
“On arrival to fast park i was greeted with a friendly staff member who explained the procedure to me on where to park my car and then where to dispose of my keys.
However when I arrived back to collect my car my keys weren't ready from the key locker on the website it says there is a 2 hour grace period either side, there was a staff member in the office who retrieved my keys and advised where my car was parked.
As this was my first time using this service I was unsure on how to exit the car park, it was very late at night so I go to a barrier to exit but the barrier did not go up, I then had to press for a ticket which then took me to a further exit with barriers I inserted the ticket to then have to pay £7!!!?? I was confused as I had already pre paid for parking.”
“Approx. 3 days prior to parking with you I successfully changed car details online which weren't picked up when leaving. You tried to charge £235ish for me to leave so attempted to use your intercom which was so difficult to find in the dark late at night. Eventually finding the right button to press (nowhere near the indicator sign), my issue was solved and I was allowed on my way.”
“We have used Fast Track many times and will continue to do so, however, this time the experience was not as good. We use this service so that we just drop our car and keys and collect when we return. Due to overbooking we had to drive around the terminal parking and park the car ourselves. We then had to walk further as the parking space we found was in the very last row.
Staff was really helpful as always.”
“Was fine apart from car not ready and waiting at collection. Was provided with two conflicting stories as to why this was. And then when we left the main car park, it came up at £7 to leave, we went direct to the exit, about 2 minutes. The help when they finally answered sorted it out. Suspected they thought I’d just pay it since we’d been travelling from Rio for over 14 hours.”
“Only problem I had was finding the bridge to the Fast Track lane from the 2nd storey which was advertised on your website. I've used it before without any problems. There were signs all over, but no doors to it. I ended up have to go downstairs to the main terminal and access the lane from there. Very disappointed.
Could help to have a sign showing available spaces on each level.”
“Great parking however, we were charged a further £7 at the exit barrier never had this before and I've used this parking 3 times before without any difficulties. Also the man was very rude and abrupt to us on arrival again the complete opposite of my previous visits which is why I have only given it 3 stars”
“Booked Fast Park, when we arrived we were told they were full and we had to park in the surface carpark but this was also full. We went into the multi storey but the barrier didn’t lift, we pressed for assistance and during this time a queue built up behind us. Other family members got parked 10 minutes later as fast park opened up another lane. Will not be booking again.”
“The external car park adjacent to the terminal is a convenient place to park but on my last three visits it has proved quite difficult to locate a vacant space once admitted. Last week we had to pause by the terminal and wait until we saw someone walking past who seemed to be returning to their vehicle and then ask them where they were parked in order to proceed to wait by the parking space. This is not ideal.”
“On entering the long stay took 10mins to find a space ! Well infact I couldn't find a space, there was a few cars parked on double yellow lines, I managed to find a space near the fence, a space beyond the last official space in the line.”
“I used the tracker on my car to discover it was parked ready for collection but not charged. I had to email to tell them where my charging cable was and on return my keys were not in the locker for my return.
Didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my email.”
“As a regular airline traveller from Edinburgh airport my parking preference is always the Fast Park facility. It is normally very efficient, if somewhat pricey at times. Regtrettably on this occassion the facility had been overbooked and we were directed to a much more distant car park. No email apology or offer of refund was made”
“All easy on arrival at airport,however on our return the car was not in a disabled space nor in row where ticket stated,after searching the car car park I couldn’t find it I eventually found someone to help me,the car was outside car park somewhere else!All this time my mum was waiting in her wheelchair!”
