Great to park straight away. Very disappointed to find at the exit I had a £442 unpaid parking charge. After pressing the intercom, spoke to someone who requested I provide the reference number. I had to search my email inbox for this. Not at all helpful as my number plate, which was registered, should have been acceptable

I was very surprised that there is no longer a courtesy bus to take passengers to the airport terminal considering the huge charges imposed on travellers.

Easy online booking process and competitive pricing. My only complaint is that three times I have now had an issue where the entrance camera has picked up an incorrect licence plate number. After the first occasion, I check the ticket and get it corrected at the parking office before trying to leave. This time in preparation I changed the screws holding on my license plate and photographed my number plate to prove that it was legible. The attendant at the desk when I went to get the ticket resolved could not have been more than helpful. He retrieved the original entry shot and showed me the picture. The parking cameras appear to be picking up staining between the license plate lamination which is not visible to the eye.

The parking itself is ok but the lot was so packed that it was hard to find a space. What made it worse was that there was signage advertising free spaces but apparently that hadn't been updated in a while so there were none in that area and it cost us time to find this out the hard way. Also, very overpriced... £60 for a long weekend is too much.

I’m rating a 3 star purely because I paid for my parking online when I arrived at the car park the gate was up and I was unable to obtain a ticket. When arriving back from my destination after been delayed when leaving the car park I was asked for my ticket which I wasn’t given I then had to press the intercom which was a pest as I just wanted home. Can your company not have a machine where you punch in your code from your email where you are given a ticket & then it is just a case of putting the ticket in the machine to release the gate. My partner had the same issue as me after paying online but he had a ticket & still was required to press the intercom to release the gate. Other than that the parking is fantastic at your airport.

No issue with the parking but when booking for mid stay the only option available was for the refundable parking. This was twice as expensive as standard. No explanation was given as to why standard parking was unavailable and I found it impossible to find a resolution either by phone or via the online help. In the end I had to pay the extra.

Parking was easy to find well sign posted but it is a long way from the terminal and no transfer buses are operating

Quite busy but spaces available were clearly displayed in MSCP - I’ve booked terminal parking before and not found a space so I do think the system can be improved.

I had a problem with the barrier opening on my exit. When I put my ticket in I was informed thatI had a shortfall in my payment of £145.00 although I had only parked for 3 days. I tried another barrier but the same thing happened. I was able to contact the office and they fixed the problem but it caused us some inconvenience.

I don’t recall long stay parking being so expensive - the best part of £90 for 4 days and not even shuttle bus! That said, I was happy to find a large space.

Good job I didn’t have a wide car. Spaces are a weeeee bit tight . Noticed that all the parking has shot up in price since my last visit to the airport.

Parking is in a great location and easy to find, however it is extortionately priced more than double to what I’ve paid to park at Glasgow or Newcastle but as we were travelling with an elderly family member that would not of managed the walk from other car parks we had no choice but to book the terminal as there are no shuttle busses. Was also extremely busy and took a good 15 minutes to find an empty space. Overall we found the experience a little disappointing.

Drop off and pick up were easy, however, had to pay at exit because we were delayed, in part due to airport logistics staff.

4 times out of 5 when I pre-book/pay for parking at Edinburgh Airport, I get stopped on leaving, asked to pay a charge, have to speak to the attendant and then am allowed to go after he checks my registration number and booking reference. Not sure what's wrong with the system but it needs to be sorted.

We used fast park which was excellent and I would recommend it, however, the signposting is not good enough. The direction indicator to use the right ramp is far too late which resulted in me, and I'm sure I'm not alone, wasting £4 going through the drop-off area as there is no way to avoid it once you have missed the ramp. Please take steps to correct this.

Long way to walk, why is there no bus?

The cost £105 for 9 days was high but it seems to be the norm at the moment. Managed to find a space without too much trouble. On leaving, the gate told me I owed £340!! this was a mistake by them and sorted quickly by phoning the attendant and confirming my booking details and getting the ticket validated but did raise my blood pressure somewhat!

A bit confused as to why the ticket charged us £500 on exit? Easily sorted by speaking to a very helpful man via intercom tho.

Couple of suggestions for improved service: 1) the fact you get a card when entering the car park is confusing when you have already pre-paid. We were left wondering how to validate the ticket and whether we would end up being charged the full day rate when we returned. A sentence or two in the booking email to make it clear that the registration number links up with booking and the ticket is just for exit barrier would be helpful and remove some friction. 2) the walk way from long stay is not as well marked as mid stay. Use same approach for long stay for clarity and safety. Best wishes
