Another example of scandalous pricing and ripping off of the passengers. Nothing short of extortion.

Directions great. Spent 20 minutes finding a space. When stopped one of the attendants and asked about spaces he shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry you just have to drive until you find one". People parked on yellow lines and on the pavement ends and I can only guess this was due time restrictions one flights or work times. Coming back great as it was late evening.

The pre payment did not register and it was unclear how this was managed. I had to be helped by a friendly taxi driver as the button to push was not labelled. Not what you need after a flight. System much easier at Liverpool.

I had booked for Fast Track priority parking on level 2 as I only had carry on luggage. When I arrived there were no free spaces on level 2. Some spaces were blocked with bollards - I was not sure if these were reserved for people who had pre-booked but there was no one around to ask to move them. I then had to check all remaining floors before I found a space at the top. This reduced my available time at the airport to purchase food ahead of my flight.

When we arrived an area of the car park was being redeveloped removing capacity. and there were no spaces anywhere. Cars were abandoned on every curb. Even the drop off points were occupied. The place was clearly overbooked. We had to circle watching the clock until a car left a space.

Horrendous queues to get out of the car park took 3/4 hour to exit the park. Very bad system only one exit.

Took 40 minutes to get out of the car park. Total farce. One barrier not working. Can’t believe with one barrier down there were such delays. No information on what was going on. High prices to park on terminal surface. Would have been quicker and cheaper to park out with the airport. Very poor.

On arrival for our outgoing flight access INTO the Surface Parking was fine and although busy we found a parking bay without much trouble. HOWEVER - On our return it took us 20-25 MINUTES to get out of the Carpark & Even then it took a further 15 minutes to get on to the main access road with 3 LANES of Carpark traffic trying to merge onto a SINGLE lane entry to the 1st Roundabout. This is in my view an UNACCEPTABLE TIME to get on our way home and would certainly discourage me from using Edinburgh Airport for future trips. George Mackenzie 07580615159

Absolute shambles trying to exit car park . We were so pleased to land early and for once straight through customs then to sit in chaos trying to exit car park . Every lane trying to push in and taxi drivers arguing with each other and no marshals trying to keep traffic flowing it was a disaster!!

We pre paid. There were no instructions as to how to exit the car park. Instructions only given for those who were still to pay following their time there. Also....loads of cars on double yellow lines. Surely if you are paying all that money you should be guaranteed a parking space without the risk of someone scraping your car. It was torture trying to come out of space with massive 4x4s clogging up the road through no fault of their own. Unfortunately we also had to wait a long time for the shuttle bus to collect us from airport whereas the other car parks had buses coming regularly.

Large sign at the Surface Parking entrance saying car park full and sending you to a totally full overflow. Ended up going into the surface parking and finding a space . Not a relaxing start to my journey

I used the mid-term car park for a business day trip to London Luton. Price was OK but very few spaces available on arrival at 0530h. As I had booked online beforehand, not clear how to use the car park ticketing : on my return at 2030h and attempt to leave the car park, at the pay station I couldn't see how to apply my online voucher/code. There was no reply when I tried to call for assistance from that point. I proceeded to the exit in my car, again not clear how to apply the online voucher code. Called for assistance - no answer, cars coming up behind me so reversed out to allow them to pass. Intercom then answered while I was parked to one side. Gave my voucher code to the assistant who raised the barrier, at which point another car went through and barrier closed before I could get my car back to the exit! Finally, while I was at the exit, with cars queueing behind me, the assistant raised the barrier to let me pass. Not a very smooth experience! Why no parking app with bar code for scan to depart car park? Or at least clear instructions to use pre-booked online parking?

Nowhere to park even though I booked it. People parking on the pavement as a result. Caused more stress to get flight on time.

I booked to stay in Plane parking. When I arrived around 5am, the display at the entry stated it was closed with no further information provided. I drove around looking for another entrance, went back to the closed entrance again and then decided the only option was to enter the long stay car park. Whilst in the airport I checked my booking and called the number to query why it was closed. I was told that the cart park was closed for refurbishment and there was a free upgrade to long or mid stay. As it happens I had selected long stay. Why was I not informed of this prior to arrival? Why was information not provided at the entry that was closed?

got bumped from longstay because full up- no signage to indicate issue. Sent to Surface parking and when i attempted to leave was prevented at barrier because of unpaid £150 fee. This was resolved fater reversing out of queue and phoning, but pretty sloppy customer service.

The Long stay car park was full after I had pre-booked, and I was directed to the Mid-stay, with all its attendant difficulties. You really need to get parking at the Airport sorted. I can only get worse. Professor M. Thrusfield

When I arrived at the long stay car park I was met by a member of staff who told me that as I had pre-booked I was getting upgraded to the mid-stay. That was great. When I arrived back the following night at 10pm and went to leave the mid-stay I inserted my ticket expecting the gate to lift but instead I was asked for £75. I couldn't get through to anyone and there were cars behind me. I went on foot to the long stay car park where I thought there would be someone on duty. There wasn't so I came back to the mid-stay and eventually got through to someone on the inter-com. I was able to get out at that point but not before a very stressful 20 mins thinking I had to pay £75 to get home. It's great to upgrade someone (I'll use the Mid-stay again) but please think about the end to end customer experience.

Very convenient but super expensive Verging on daylight robbery - £60 for 36 hrs - wouldn’t use again on that basis Even tried to charge me £90 on exit because I’d apparently parked in the wrong car park although there was no clear direction or any communication prior, or at point of entry into the carpark. Basically I should have parked In The multi-storey but they don’t tell you that clearly, if actually at all. Just the height of greed. Ideal if your not organised (like me 😊) alternatively use the park and ride

As always when exiting the machine indicated I needed to pay 130 pounds while having bought parking online. That happens almost always when exiting after having bought parking online. #fail
