Booked mid-term car park and it was full. Spoke over intercom to attendant and redirected me to the surface car park. Had to reverse out into oncoming traffic and then find surface car park. It made me late for my flight which I caught by the skin of my teeth, Attendant had told me that the system would recognise my car. On my return 5 days later I inserted my ticket into the exit gate and it tried to charge me £210. Several of the exit barriers were closed and it took some time for me to get clearance to exit during which a queue was backing up and other drivers were getting irate with me.

the car park itself was more than ok. it was how I was put into the park was poor. I booked the Plane Parking from 4am but upon arrival it was closed no explanation no email no text nothing to inform me that it would be closed. was told to go to the long stay over intercom. this was not a decision made due to a unforeseen problem but the park was getting "resurfaced" so it was pre-planned so there should have been a communication about this prior to arriving at park probably should have been informed in the previous week.

Booked mid stay car park as it's a short walk to the terminal. Unfortunately there were no spaces available - I drove around twice to be sure - and had to then drive around to the terminal surface to find a space which took a few minutes as well. This added around 20 minutes to the time to park that it should normally. Changing car parks was handled quickly by the team at the airport but I'd rather have been able to park where I booked as I avoid the terminal car park normally due to the time it can take to find a space. Will just stick with long term car park in future as it tends to be much easier to find a space there.

The parking spaces are pretty tight. I have a Subaru Forester (not huge). When parked, I was (just) inside my bay, but parked pretty close to another (blue?) car. On my return, somebody had forced raspberries through a window (that I may have left ~1 inch open by mistake) and there was a scratch on the side of the car which had been left by a blue car - possibly deliberately. The raspberries went all over my seats and have stained them. If you have CCTV then maybe it was captured on it. I was parked between E5-E4 and F5 and F4, 10 cars down from the alley with bust stop 3 on it.

The last two times I have used long stay car parking both times when leaving they have asked for more money ,cleared up by talking to someone on the tannoy system but why can't they just get it correct in the first place

Absolutely ridiculous that you term zones R and S as terminal surface. I would nearly be as quick parking at Ingilston Park and Ride.

Parking fine. ANPR failed to read numberplate so had to get ticket. On leaving put ticket in and pressed for assistance. Make who answered was just frankly rude.. I had already looked out the booking reference as I use the car park quite often. The male just snapped "what's you reference" in an abusive tone and when I told him he just opened the barrier. This was not my issue I had paid in advance I even had the reference ready. Really poor customer service... And no manners at all

I booked Mid Term Parking - on arrival the car park was full so we were directed to the short term parking. I went to the ticket office to check how this would work and I would not be charged extra and indeed have an issue in the early hours of the morning on our return. A really lovely gentleman ( who was sensational ) said not to worry and I would have no issues and made note of my registration at your ticket office. Ofcourse on landing and leaving the car park the barrier stated I had to pay GBP 130.00. I then had to reverse the car and go to the machine for the help button as in the dark you cannot see the buttons at the gate. Your colleague asked for my reference number which I did not have to hand - given it was raining and not on my iPhone but on my laptop. He then used me reg number to get me out of the car park - this was your operational issue and not mine and I should not have been put through this at 1am. Not acceptable

Car Park obviously full. Had to use assistance button to be allowed in despite pre booking. Difficulty finding a space. On return, had to explain why I did not have a ticket and this was not a slick process in itself.

Ruined access roads, very unclear signage, chaotic appearance of environs, high levels of uncertainty in finding one's way about and, of course, the feeling that one has been comprehensively ripped-off. Possibly the worst parking experience of any airport we have been in, anywhere in the world.

Where to start, flexible booking is advertised on your web site this is not the case, had to make change but this could not happen so had to make another booking. Then when returning from trip at the barrier was asked to pay 180 pounds last thing you want after hours of traveling, after booking parking twice and then having to explain that I had a booking at the barrier I am less then impressed with the systems, there are plenty of other options for parking around the airport.

I turned up at the Medium stay car park. There was a queue of about 5 cars, each went to get a ticket then reversed and went somewhere else. I had booked the car park but on seeing this I went to Long stay. Not only did it cost me for the Medium stay I had to fork our another £36 for the long stay. Thanks

Flight was delayed due to Italian air traffic control strike (~9 hour delay) and consequently I was charged £16.50 on leaving due to going over the time limit. I find this to be unacceptable when as a customer you are penalised for something you have no control over. You are charged a premium to park in the car park to begin with and I feel that it should allow for flights that are delayed without penalising the customer. In future I will not be booking to park in the Edinburgh airport surface parking. This was just an added frustration on top of an already stressful day!

Although parking was pre-booked and paid in advance I had to drive about for over 10 minutes to find what looked like the last and tightest available parking space. On the bus back to the car park the driver watched people struggle with luggage and didn't make any attempt to help them, then when we tried to leave the car park the barrier wouldn't open and was asking for payment. Very disappointed in future I will use one of the private companies.

when I arrived back from aboard to collect my car and went to the exit barrier, and not for the first time informed my that the cost of parking was ( £350.00 approx.). I spoke to the person by intercom and informed him that I had booked my car via your web site and I had a booking reference number in which he requested. After going through my wallet I found it and duly informed him in which he then opened the barrier gate. This procedure is annoying and time consuming. Can you therefore look at ways of improving this procedure so to take away this action for producing additional documentation.

In the last 9 months I have used the short stay car park 4 times. On only one occasion did the exit machine accept our pre-booked card. On the 3 unsuccessful occasions the number plate had been changed to our new car on your web site. The new number plate was visible when I later checked your web site but I suspect this is the root of the problem. This is an annoying nuisance and you need to take positive action to solve the problem.

Drove up to the barrier to be informed that the Car Park was closed. Pressed for assistance and told to go to the Car Park next door instead. Next door car park was very busy and took ten minutes to find a space. Spaces were too small, although Bus was frequent both to the Airport door and back to the Car Park.

Very poorly sign posted. Easy to end up in wrong car park. Considering majority of travellers will have cases spaces aren’t that large. However, upside as it’s easy to find a space.
