I have never parked at Edinburgh Airport before and when we arrived at 4:45am it was still dark and visibility was further reduced because of sleet. The signage at this airport is very poor and as a result ended up in drop off zone and had to pay £6 to get out of there. Once in multi storey it was fine. Had an issue leaving as we inserted out ticket and was asked for £254, we pressed help button and this was resolved very quickly. Definatley requires clearer signs required

Parking is as expected but really needs to be more spaces in long stay or better signage directing to free spaces in vast car park.

Price is good, but experience is pretty poor. The surface is bumpy and very hard to roll bags on, I would expect that where cars drive but there should be pedestrian paths with better paving. The sign posting is very confusing - unclear where one can park, and the signs to the exit are hard to follow. Pretty easy to get to the airport terminal but the return walk was poorly signposted.

Navigating the car park was a real hassle. The combination of a confusing one-way system, limited parking, and endless circling in the dark made for a stressful arrival. Definitely not the smooth start we were hoping for. Better signage and clearer parking options would make a huge difference.

Whilst the entry/exit was seamless with our numberplate being read and linked with the booking getting parked was a nightmare. There were many cars parked outside of the actual spaces (e.g. along kerbs) and it took us a lot of driving up and down to find a designated space. Given a booking system is in place there should be enough spaces or else unbooked customers should not be allowed entry.

All went well until I tried to exit the Carpark and it told me I had a £180 outstanding balance to pay…after several calls to try and get someone on the turnstile intercom I eventually got through to someone and they advised it had been an error….

I have used the Fast Park service a few times now, and always without difficulty, however this time the car had evidently been altered more than ever before. My seat had been moved, both wing mirrors had been moved, the radio station had been changed, and the passenger seat had also been moved. This seems more like somebody took the car for a drive, than simplky moved it to a parking spot for 5 days. Not impressed ...

Had issues on entry at the barrier. It said a ticket would come out automatically on arrival and it didnt. I pressed the buzzer for assistance and the person said a ticket had been issued. (had pre-booked and pre-paid). Just caused some concern on how things would go when it came to leaving without said ticket. The rigid pavements at the parts of the walkway where it meets the road are horrendous to pull a case over. Cases kept getting stuck. No fun on a 10 minute walk with 2 young kids and 4 cases.

It was very difficult to find a space to park on arrival. Parking felt fairly secure, and very convenient. Camera detection failed to recognise my car on exit and tried to charge me £410, rather than recognise my prepaid booking of £79.99. It was quickly resolved when I pressed the help button, but I feel it might have been upsetting eg if it had been an older person thinking they had to pay the amount requested, or if it had been very busy with angry drivers behind.

The multi-storey car park is ideal if you want to be very close to the terminal and to minimise your walk from car to check-in. There are two sets of barriers to negotiate on entry, but this is well-explained in your arrival notes. This would have been a 5-star review were it not for the misleading information on the booking which states the booking can be amended without penalty. This however is not true. Our flight date was changed by the airline but, when attempting to 'amend' the booking, I found it could only be cancelled and then re-booked (and at an increased price). Very poor service for something such as flights, which are very prone to amendments.

Multi-storey car park is very convenient and reasonable value if booked in advance. Ticket issuing is complicated - have to go through two ticket machines. Signage showed 132 free spaces on one floor and I could only find 3 or 4. When exiting the machine didn’t recognise my pre-booking and showed the full process to be paid. Had to ask the attendant to fix for me.

Unfortunately on this occasion when returning too my car I experienced 2 issues 1. The car next to me was parked so closely that I have to enter my vehicle from the passenger side 2. Who had driven my car had managed to delete my phone connection and car was back to factory settibgs

The car park was relatively convenient for walking to the terminal but generally poor condition for pulling suitcases over poor surfaces and areas of water after rain. The introduction of rumble strips at every pedestrian crossing makes it feel like an assault course when pulling wheeled cases or trollies over them.

I had to collect my car several days early but was unable to amend my booking while the car was parked. My pre paid ticket did not work at the exit gate My car was damaged while parked

You plate recognize system is old and can not process non-UK car registration number. in other UK airports such problem is absent

Car was still there when we arrived home at 00:40. I'd bought parking for the entire duration of our trip, but was asked for £265.80 when we presented the ticket to the machine. Grumpy customer service person sorted it out, but I don't want to have to deal with that sort of nonsense in the wee small hours.

Was disappointed when on leaving when despite having booked in advance the ticket machine showed £205 outstanding. After a stressful 5 minutes the assistant finally found our booking and let us through.
