“The parking all went smoothly, we chose the Fast park as normal, and all seemed fine until we got to the exit gate, which didn't lift up. I noticed the screen which intimated that I owed £510.00 even though I'd pre booked. This also occurred on Saturday 23rd May when I was making use of the twilight drop off, that time they were looking for £19.00 for 20 minutes parking, I accept once might be a glitch but twice is a bit ridiculous.”
“This is a simple and straight forward parking experience. i have used this probably 15 times or so now and never wrote a review. so..... after so many times parking fast park my comments are well established. It remains straight forward, it is near the terminal and you are out and on your way home very quickly owing to the position and road network straight from the barrier”
“I stupidly mistook plane parking for fast park. I normally book mid or long stay car parking and normally avoid car parks that require a bus, so this came as an unwelcome surprise. I arrived around 30 minutes before check-in closed and then spent valuable time driving up and down every lane trying to find a space. There was only one space available in the entire massive car park. After finally parking, I just missed the shuttle bus and had to wait around 20 minutes for the next one. By the time I reached the terminal, my check-in had closed.
The return journey was much better, with a bus waiting when we arrived and taking us straight back to the car park without any delay.
Overall, difficulty finding a parking space, and long wait for the shuttle made for a very stressful start to my trip.”
“Great service but disappointed that on return to my vehicle I was charged an additional £10 to exit the car park. Would like to speak to someone but there doesn’t appear to be a phone number or email address to raise this?”
“Extremely poor. I booked airport parking in the weekend for £75. I received the confirmation and a barcode. On arriving at the terminal I drove up to the barrier. I had to push the button to talk to someone who stated to take a ticket as the system wasn't working. I went up to the next barrier which stated the car park was full. Again, I had to push the button who asked if I pre-booked to which I said yes. On arriving in the terminal car park I trawled through various levels to find a space. Luckily, I was with a disabled passenger so I was able to use one of the disabled bay.
On returning from our weekend trip, I managed to see someone to ask what do I do. They said go up to the barrier and give me the registration and we will let you exit. I arrived at the exit barrier which stated I was due £210. I pressed the button and informed the person I had already pre-booked. The attendant asked what the charge on the screen was. They asked for the registration and let me out.
My main concern is having to pay £75 for a weekend stay, which, when I arrive at the terminal it isn't working. Also, the car park is saying full. What would have happened if I wasn't with a disabled passenger? An absolute rip off. Not only have the prices gone through the roof but the whole process is just disgusting. I won't be using parking at the airport ever again. An absolute rip-off.”
“Parking is ok. The bus arrived in time. On exiting, the parking barrier asked me to pay £85 when I pre-paid. I then had to call the abrupt operator to be allowed to leave. Meanwhile, cars behind were backed up. This is a frequent occurrence. So poor efficiency and service.”
“The parking was great, however there were a few points that could make it better.
1. No wheelchairs available at drop off point. Wife requires assistance.
2. The bus driver was not present and the bus was waiting. The driver had went to the terminal for food. We waited about ten minutes, and when he arrived, no courteous apology for keeping us waiting. We stood right beside the middle door but when he entered the bus, he opened the front door. This left passengers to manhandle their cases, and my disabled wife, to the front of the bus. This was not considerate at all.”
“Good signposting. Good size bays. Bus service excellant to and from the terminal. Entrance is smooth to the car park however both of our cars could not get out as the barrier would not raise after ticket entry as the screen said we had not paid although we had pre-booked the cars. The attendant in the office checked both vehicles and let us out. This was the only issue. I would certainly use it again”
