“Found the plane parking very good value for money. Decent size spaces and lighting when I returned at night was good
Only issue was entry where my registration wasn't recognised and had to press the assistance button. I seem to recall this happened on a previous stay. However assistance was quick and managed to gain entry quickly after that”
“Pre-Booked parking at Edinburgh airport but was asked for £510 payment on departure. Quite annoying when had paid for this in advance. Had to be let out of the car park.”
“Terrible experience!! I booked my car in for the fast park and arrived as planned on my departure day. Check on process was straightforward and we went off on our holiday. However, the day I was due to return I received an email saying the driver had crashed my car! Heavy damage to the front bumper where he “misjudged a high kerb”. The photo sent to me shows the parking sensor right above where the damage was so he’d clearly been driving too fast and didn’t have time to brake! Now I’m left with the huge inconvenience of getting three quotes and having my car in a repair shop for up to a week! I doubt I would use this service again!”
“Pre paid and the number plate recognition worked well. We booked the long stay car park and walked to the terminal in under ten minutes. On returning our flight was delayed and put us over our booked time, however there is a six hour grace period for leaving the car park so no additional fee was added.
Overall a very good experience and would recommend.”
“Good value, easy to drive to and regular buses even when we returned in the early hours. The only slight niggle was that the number plate recognition system didn’t seem to work for entry and other cars appeared to have the same problem. Just took a minute to call for help and have somebody raise the barrier.”
“We had a real problem trying to find the entrance to the car park since it appeared to be unsign posted. We have never had this problem before. Otherwise all good and easy exit with the electronic reading of our number plate.”
“I have used this service many times in the past without issue. On this occasion though and after pre-booking my parking, I pulled up to the barrier but the ticket machine did not automatically dispense the ticket, I had to press the button which I though was odd. I could see on the ticket that my registration plate had been detected by the camera on the barrier. On my return after being parked for 5 days, I approached the barrier and inserted my ticket to exit but the displayed showed "£330 outstanding" I used the assistance intercom at the barrier, explained that I had a pre-booking referencing but the display showed the outstanding amount and that the barrier would not lift. The person on the other end of the intercom was helpful and had to manually lift the barrier so that I could exit. Maybe there is a technical issue with the barrier ?”
“ANPR system was broken on entry and had to take a ticket. Got this confirmed at a pay station. Had to buzz through to the control room on exit to get out the car park.”
