“Easy to find and park. Got a good price on the internet of £94 for a weeks parking. Unfortunately my flight back from Madeira was cancelled and I was three days late returning. Got stung for £138 excess charges. Will stick to Glasgow Airport in future.”
“Short stay is convenient, but expensive. Long stay is not a good experience now that the bus drops customers off so far from the terminal. I try and avoid Edinburgh airport now when traveling regularly on business due to the long stay car park and unacceptable security queue. How can a multi-million £ security system be so badly designed? Did anyone model the setup before committing to it?”
“Signage not clear for surface terminal. Staff didnt know if I had parked in the right place. Which created a small grey cloud for holiday. Nobody wants to pay £80 then think they might get another bill afterwards”
“Close to airport and good regular transfers from long stay car park only problem which seems to happen every time I use this service on my return put the ticket in the machine to exit car park and it comes up saying £150.00 due I then have to press the call button and speak to someone and give booking reference then you lift the barrier for me.”
“The surface car park is close to the terminal which is great. However, spaces are very tight for a Land Rover and taxis speed through the car park which makes it uncomfortable walking with packed trolleys and children.”
“Facilities and provision for getting in and out of the terminal were good. However cost, especially if your stay extends beyond what was originally planned are disproportionate.”
“Very clear ,Very easy to both web site and on site. Marred only by thier interpretations of 00.00 hour which I took to be midnight on the 10th as shown on the web site as the last time slot viable on the 10th. We arrived to leave the car park at 23.15.Unfortunately for me their interpretations was it was that 00.00 was the first part of the 10th therefore we were 11 hours late and had to pay other £47.Welcome to Scotland”
“Access to the multi-storey and priority security is a great seller when I'm flying on business. However, as a frequent user of the car park, I find it immensely frustrating (and unnecessarily time consuming) that I have to re-enter my details to your system every time I book parking.
As a service, this is something I have been told you are working to improve upon, but the months are progressing and the service isn't.”
