When I exited the car park and put my ticket into the machine it said I needed to pay £120. I was shocked as I had pre paid and was exiting at least 12 hours earlier. I called for help and was told I had nothing to pay.

Despite having prepaid on exit we were told we had to pay £270 for overdue charges - this was just wrong and caused a lot of distress but fortunately there was someone to call who opened the gate for us when we read out our reference

Not the best experience. Road signs at entrance to the airport aren't clear (there is another long stay car park signposted). There is no clear route for pedestrians to reach the airport, so I had to walk along the edge of the road. When leaving, it isn't clear how to associate your booking with the ticket issued at the barrier. Ticket machines have no signage to tell you what to do.

Disappointed that shuttle bus not reinstated. Get very wet walking across car park. Surface is in very poor condition so difficult to push or pull a suitcase (which has 4 wheels and moves effortlessly on good surface) Pre-booking once again not recognised on exit so had to use the intercom. Frustrating to be delayed by this when all want to do is start the drive home.

I have been lucky and it has not been raining when I have used the parking. I wonder what people do if it is pouring, given there is no facility to leave an umbrella at the terminal and they cannot be taken on a flight. If the shuttle bus is not restored then a scheme to allow users to borrow or leave their own umbrellas for the duration of the trip would be very useful. On leaving the park I was asked for full cost, despite having pre-booked and paid. The driver in the next lane was in the same position. The barrier was raised by the attendant contacted by intercom. I know this possibility is mentioned when booking, but it is not ideal.

Bought a mid stay parking which stated 10-12min walk. On the confirmation it said that now wasn’t available and that we’d receive an ‘upgrade’ to long stay. Long stay is a 15 minute walk. Why is this an upgrade? You should have stated this prior to booking as I would have booked the 1 minute parking as I struggled with the length of walk. Also having a smooth walkway for luggage is required. Lastly our reg plate wasn’t recognised as stated.

The booking process is quick and easy. The savings are significant. The reason for the 3 stars is that on 3 out of the 4 occasions I have used this recently the system didn't recognize the number plate of the car on exit. This meant I was overcharged the 1st time it happened and on the other occasions I had to wait, only a few minutes, on someone allowing the car to exit. It wasn't just my car that had the issue as the last time we used this we were in my Wife's car. Over all a positive but need to address the technology issue.

I have used this service twice now. The first time the ANPR didn’t work and I received a ticket manually and on my departure was asked to pay £300 odd to get out. On giving my booking ref to the operator I was free to go on my way. On this occasion the ANPR did work but on departure I was once again asked to pay an outstanding bill of £240. On speaking to the operator again I was once free to go on my way. Although I wasn’t actually charged any extra I was a bit of an inconvenience and embarrassment with people behind me trying to exit the car park.

I found it quite difficult to find the waking route to the terminal from the long stay car park, more so when I made my return journey there was no signs to direct me back, even an emplyee did not know the way. There were road works going on which meant I had to keep going up and down kerbs with the trolly. When I put my ticket in to leave the car park it said I was due to pay £264 and I had to contact someone on the intercom. I was very disappointed at my experience

Car park was very busy on arrival, but it was a Friday lunchtime so not unexpected. I was shocked on my return a week later though to be asked for £270 at the exit gate. A quick chat solved the issue as I had prepaid, but it was still a jolt to the body incase I had got the parking wrong - I hadn't!

Entry barrier fails to recognise my car as pre-booked/pre-paid on last three visits. Once this meant I had to park outside as multi-storey was only open to pre-booked cars. Other times I had to get customer services’ validation at the kiosk (very helpful staff).

Why on the confirmation it does not say exactly which car par you are booked? I see that when we get there, there are different gates with letters. Why every time I come I get charged more even though I left there on time?????????

It’s a car park, it functions perfectly as a car park with car parking spaces in a car park. It’s still a car park for people to park their cars. Sort your ANPR system for entry and exit though. In this car park most weeks going away to work and it’s rare my number plate is recognised and issues me a ticket although always prebooked.

Was sure I'd booked Terminal. However, after entering Terminal, realised booking referred to Mid Stay. Left Terminal (cost £5) and entered Mid Stay. On return from holiday (at 1 am) tried to leave Mid Stay. Inserted ticket. Machine demanded £240. Spoke to operator (surprised but pleased to find one was there so late). He was helpful, checked booking existed and barrier was raised. So ended up ok (if £5 out of pocket) but seemed unnecessary worry. Also, signage to find Mid Stay when coming out of terminal building was poor - it starts too late. Really need something obvious as soon as you exit terminal. Particularly challenging when arriving in the dark.
