Wish the long stay car park had the shuttle bus service. As a woman travelling alone I booked surface car park as I do not feel safe walking such a long way after dark. This time my flight was delayed so I arrived back after 1am and was alone in the surface car park defrosting my car etc and it's not ideal. The long stay always felt safer as I would park near the bus stop.

I had booked and paid online and the machine was trying to get me to £120 on top of what I had allready paid. A lot of confusion was caused

Got a bit of a shock when leaving the long stay car park when asked to pay an outstanding amount of £140 despite leaving in advance of the booked leaving date and time. Spoke with a very helpful man via the intercom at the exit gate who agreed this was an error and quickly sorted this out for me.

I use the parking every week and 5 out of the last 7 times ANPR has failed to work requiring me to call for assistance.

Upgraded to the terminal parking , parked in multi story , was close to the airport . On return put my ticket in the machine at the barrier and £225 to pay came up. Pressed the buzzer and explained my pediment, barrier opened

Parking at Edinburgh Airport was simple and fairly inexpensive. Long stay is easily in walking distance. The issue came when I came to leave, the pre paid ticket with my registration on it suggested I needed to pay £120. A real shock at midnight. Obviously I didn’t pay any extra but the system should recognise that I had already pre paid.

Very very shocked when I went to exit the car park ,I put my card in and it said .Not enough data ...Pay £120 ....after a few attempts I managed to contact someone ....Obviously they were able to check that I had prepaid for my parking ....There was no Apology ...only the barrier lifting ......!!!!!!} Thank goodness ..Not a nice experience .

I booked plane side and got the automatic upgrade to long term. I needed more than 30 mins to meet my family with a baby and get them back to car etc so paid for a day. Parking was fine but the pedestrian route to the terminal is not easy . The last section is marked out and has barriers but getting there is not easy walking in the road with cars searching for a space. Very difficult with baby and luggage. Better pedestrian route needed to get you the magical C4 where the better route begins .

Prebooked & paid for parking on 4/9/22 @ Long Stay for period 4/11/22-28/11/22. On exit I was requested to £550 which was obviously a fault on parking system. I have always used this car park & never had this problem. Also footpaths through car park could be better !

Used the ‘surface terminal’ facility a few days ago. Normally works very smoothly but this time entry and exit not so great. If you pre book (as I did) the gate normally opens automatically on entry and exit. This time I had to press the button on entry and when I tried to exit it asked for a £140 payment. Fortunately I was able to easily back up and go to a kiosk. Very prompt voice response via the machine and the matter was dealt with immediately. Despite the hiccup will use this service again.

Easy to book. However upon leaving the ticket was not accepted at the barrier and £180 was payable ! after a heart stopping moment, and assistance from the audible assist, I was informed casually that the booking system was having problems and my booking had not been recognised upon leaving. My ticket was authorised but nonetheless it was not expected.

It was fine until I tried to get out when the barrier wouldn't open and it wanted to charge me £95. I also had some difficulty locating the button to get support.

Great to be able to buy your ticket for parking in advance. However imagine my shock when i got to the exit gate and found I had to pay £120.00. Some explaining later to the chap on the intercomm i was let let through. Not a nice way to end a holiday.

I have used the parking at the airport frequently and never had issue till this time. I had it all booked in advance and was not able to get in or out automatically. My vehicle was not recognised on entry or exit and charged me £95. I am in the process of chasing up my refund. The parking is always very handy and I will continue to use it again but that depends on how my issue is resolved and hopefully there is no issue with my refund. Like i say, i have used the service many times and never had a issue. For some unknown reason I had a problem

It was ok but your system doesn't work properly. Although I prepaid my fee in 2 weeks advance, when I inserted parking card to the barrier at exit, it calculated £120 and I had to call the assistance. Problem solved but caused additional stress and I lost time.

On leaving the ticket machine asked for an additional £140, this scares the hell out of you, electronic equipment must work, saving grace the human sorted for us, thanks

When I exited the car park and put my ticket into the machine it said I needed to pay £120. I was shocked as I had pre paid and was exiting at least 12 hours earlier. I called for help and was told I had nothing to pay.

Despite having prepaid on exit we were told we had to pay £270 for overdue charges - this was just wrong and caused a lot of distress but fortunately there was someone to call who opened the gate for us when we read out our reference

Not the best experience. Road signs at entrance to the airport aren't clear (there is another long stay car park signposted). There is no clear route for pedestrians to reach the airport, so I had to walk along the edge of the road. When leaving, it isn't clear how to associate your booking with the ticket issued at the barrier. Ticket machines have no signage to tell you what to do.

Disappointed that shuttle bus not reinstated. Get very wet walking across car park. Surface is in very poor condition so difficult to push or pull a suitcase (which has 4 wheels and moves effortlessly on good surface) Pre-booking once again not recognised on exit so had to use the intercom. Frustrating to be delayed by this when all want to do is start the drive home.
