“Hi I collected my car around 2.30 pm on the 18th within the time scale that I paid for only to be charged another £28.00. Not happy as my flight landed on time however very dissapointed that it took 1.45 hours to go through passport control and baggage claim and then having to pay the extra £28.00”
“I paid in advance for parking at the long stay car park and when I arrived there were no spaces available at all, I spent around half an hour looking for a space and as I was needing to catch my flight I just had to leave my car in the car park at the end of a row (not in a parking bay). There were multiple other cars which had to do the same.”

“Pre booked parking and on arrival the car wasn't recognised, buzzed for assistance and the gentleman was most polite but couldn't find the booking, mutual decision was taken to just take a ticket and deal with it on return as we had a plane to catch. On trying to exit the parking buzzed for assistance and eventually was able to leave. It appears that your number plate camera system does not work. This I is the third time we have used pre booking and the third time it has not worked ,100% failure rate, not good enough.”
“Took at least 25 mins to locate space on arrival. When arrived home car had been bumped badge damaged and broken so my alarm must have gone off so on arrival home car wouldnt start requested assistance however was told could not help as they had no jump leads when i said i had my own no one was available. Disgrace car pranged when its meant to be secure and monitored never use again”

“Utter shambles leaving the Surface Car Park on Thursday 14th June. Taxis and Drop off cars were merging from the left under the multi -storey carpark and idiots coming down from the right down the wrong direction created chaos. It took me about 40 mins to exit the car park after my flight landed at 18.15. The only saving grace was that the exit barriers were then left up to suspend payment. Not that it mattered to me as I had already paid in advance.”
“When leaving the car park on 15/6/18 the machine at the barrier said I owed £170 not so as my ticket was valid until 17.00 hrs that day i spoke to someone on the intercom at the barrier who said it was the wrong registration no they opened the barrier to allow me out. After returning home I noticed the ticket said I left the car park at 14.55 on the 16/6/18 again not so. I called the airport to check that I was not going to have a further charge for this incorrect information on the ticket they said no & would look into why the ticket had wrong information printed on it”
“Arrived at 1.15 from Lisbon. Firstly waited an hour to get luggage. Left building to walk to surface car park to be trapped in line for hours Sitting in car as we were not forewarned there had been accident day before. We could see one line of busses and taxi coming in and leaving airport but no one informing us why we were left stationery for hours. Elderly people like us and people with babies and children. Spoke to Alex on helpline who said police handling situation. Spoke to police who said airport staff were handling inside airport as not there job. Second time i spoke to Alex he said they were sending airport staff to car park it was after four o clock before two men appeared but they did not have a clue what to do. Drivers at this point staged a horn honking protest. We did not arrive home to Ayrshire till 9pm. In future if incidents arise it might be useful to make announcements or hand written sign in baggage claim to warn people what to expect. M D Artis”

“Could not get out of car park on return from holiday Chaotic situation traffic was gridlocked took 2hrs 45 mins to get out of car park!!! No sign of traffic control until 2 policemen arrived after 2 and half hours!! finally got moving. understand due to previous traffic accident being cleared ....timing and organisation appalling.”
“Total chaos when trying to get out of the car park - took over an hour to get out of the barrier. There were extenuating circumstances so it's not 100% your fault but there was no one to explain or communicate what was going on. I know you have twitter etc. but for the people actually in the car park you should not/could not access that kind of media it was extremely frustrating - leading to incidents of anger & road rage. NEED A BETTER PLAN TO DEAL WITH THIS TYPE OF INCIDENT/EVENT.”
