We arrived at the airport to look for where our parking was and to be honest it’s very confusing so we stopped at what we thought was ours, the instructions weren’t the clearest on the email. I went inside and asked the receptionist if this was correct, she said if the ticket had our registration it was right, so we thought it was. When we got back the manager was very rude and tried to charge us £290 for two cars for ten days. He was arrogant rude and basically trying to con us out of money. Needless to say we left without paying. Absolute disgrace

Entered the official long stay car park through the barrier thing (taking my ticket from the machine to get in), I soon discovered that I had joined a long traffic jam through the (full) parking spaces. After moving only 10 yards in 30 minutes I rang the official Edinburgh Airport information line and after the usual long menu of options finally spoke with someone who told me that as the official information line they had no information about car parking, and gave me the official car park number to ring. When I tried this it just rang and rang. No answer. I tried the Edinburgh airport Twitter feed and sent them a message asking what was happening... no response (even 12 days later). I eventually left my car and walked around to find what was happening. There was no-one official there to help and everyone was very frustrated. At least those in the queue I spoke with were trying to leave the car park, rather than (in my case) parking to catch a flight. Eventually I found a parking space some cars down and persuaded drivers in the queue in front of me to move as close as possible to the cars in front... one guy then kindly manoeuvred out of the way to mallow me to squeeze into the only parking space, and I just made my flight to Providence. Why was there no-one on the gate stopping people entering the car park? why was there no official help at all? I was very lucky to catch my flight.

I booked my space and less than 24 hours later I had to cancel it, according to your terms and conditions I could have a cooling off period of 24 hours, after 19 hours I had to cancel and was told I could not have a refund as I was flying in less than 24 hours, as you can imagIne I wasn’t very happy as it makes your 24 hours cooling off period rubbish if you book 48 hours before, so I won’t be booking with you again.

The roadsign directing to long stay parking was very misleading and we ended up parking in the wrong car park and did not realise until we attempted to leave the car park. The attendant was very sympathetic and explained that we are not the first to make this mistake. We had to pay an additional £87 on top of what we had already paid.

1 LONG uncovered walk to terminal 2 EXIT route unclear, cars going everywhere 3 Worst of all, plane 30 minutes late and a £4 surcharge added - DO NOT tell them what plane you are on!

Arrived to find "car park full" cars parked over kerbs, yellow lines etc, cars wandering around trying like us to find a space, no attendants to advise. Aware of time to catch plane (we had left over 2 and half hours) parked the car (like others next to temporary fencing) and were concerned we would be clamped, stung for money when we returned from holiday, overall a very stressful start.

On Thursday 14 June we arrived at Edinburgh Airport (at 2pm) for our flight to Pisa two hours before it left. In the first instance the signage was so bad that we ended up having to pay to get out of one car park! We were then caught up in a traffic jam for about 15 minutes. We then had to ask a police officer where the entrance to the car park we had booked was situated. Having got into the car park we then spent about twenty minutes either in a queue or driving around trying to find a free space. Eventually, because by that time we were in danger of missing our flight, we gave up and when someone else who was parked in a hashed (no parking) area left, we parked there. Whilst on holiday we were concerned that the car may have been moved or damaged, but we had had no option. We booked and paid a lot of money for parking near the departures. In future we won't bother. It was nothing short of a disaster.

Due to park up for my flight on Thursday 14th June 2018. Not sure what the issue was but the long stay car park had been closed and the short stay was full. The traffic getting into the airport was completely backed up for miles. I could not park my vehicle in the short stay car park and had to find a space elsewhere to ensure i got my flight. I have tried to contact via email text to ask for a refund but have had no response. Booking Ref:Ref:3791029

Once again the vnpr system incorrectly read my number plate meaning I have to visit customer services to exit car park. This is now the fifth occasion when this has happened which is very annoying.

Car park was so overcrowded there were cars everywhere not even parked in spaces. We eventually found a space to park in. We now have a dent in the side of the car that we suspect was done by someone in the car park although we can’t prove this. Would not recommend!

Firstly, I had difficulty in finding a parking space at 7.00am on. Sunday morning. When I found one it was at the furthest away part of the car park. When I came back I drove to the exit gates and they were all busy with delays on the road out to the M8. After about 10 mins when I got to the barrier it refused to accept my ticket and told me I owed £115. I had to put on my hazard lights, and walk all the way back to the office past queuing cars. The man there was most helpful, told me he couldn’t understand why that happened when I showed him my ticket and my booking on my phone. Inth me had to walk all the way back and left the car park about 40 mins after I crossed the road from the terminal to the car park. It was as you say a bad experience which may very well put me off booking again.

My plane landed 4.5 hours late which meant I arrived at the gate 20 minutes into the next day. The gate suggested I be charged £130 for the three days. There was a number on the ticket machines but no one picked up. There was no other information about how to get in touch with someone. A taxi driver then told me I could use a call button on the gate machines. There were four buttons on the machines and none were marked to suggest they could be a call button. I pushed the most likely one, got through to a man who then let me out. This was not ideal.

As a result of a tram accident the previous day, on our return we were told that we had to walk from the terminal to the long stay car park. Not ideal as we are pensioners and this is quite a distance. On exiting the car park, there was nobody there to direct us and no signage to tell us where to go. When we did find some airport staff to ask, one in particular was very unhelpful. On exiting the airport perimeter we were directed to a dirt track, no further directions were given. As the cost of parking here is expensive, this was totally unacceptable!! I expect to receive a refund. It was fortunate that it was not raining, or that we do not have mobility problems. I await your reply with interest.

There was a significant delay in accessing the car park due to an issue following a tram crashing into a bus 24hrs earlier. The barrier to the car park was broken and the attitude of the person I spoke to through the intercom was unacceptable. The car park was very busy and I was lucky to find a space which was as far away from the terminal as it was possible to be which wasn't great when travelling with two young children.

Hi I collected my car around 2.30 pm on the 18th within the time scale that I paid for only to be charged another £28.00. Not happy as my flight landed on time however very dissapointed that it took 1.45 hours to go through passport control and baggage claim and then having to pay the extra £28.00
