Pre-booked & paid for. On arrival, No spaces..... ‘car park’ full sign at machine. Attendant still activated ticket issue at barrier. Spent 10-15 mins trying to find a space. Finally directed by attendant through intercom to surface car park where there are spaces! New ticket issued at surface car park. After a further fruitless 15 min search finally parked illegally, otherwise would miss check in. On return some days later saw a number of other poor drivers in the same position I was some days earlier! On exit from car park initially car park barrier system requested payment of £160. What a shambles!

Very poorly organised, unlike other carparks there seems to be no mechanism for counting cars in and out. As a result the area was congested with cars parked on pavements resulting in narrowing of access roads and in some cases blockage of access. I toured the area for 20minutes without finding a space and was in danger of missing my flight. I eventually parked in an area reserved for valet parking and had to walk to the terminal because there was no sign of a shuttle bus. The medium stay car park I walked through was equally congested. The terminal was also very congested suggesting that the whole airport complex is operation above capacity. In future I will try to avoid using Edinburgh if I can.

The booking process for Edinburgh Long Stay Parking was simple enough and the bus transfer was fine but the fact that there were no designated parking bays to be found when I arrived made it very frustrating. Driving around a large car park along with quite a few other drivers doing the same was far from ideal. In the end I had to park on double yellow lines at the end of a row as had many other drivers. This was not an experience I would recommend.

Awful was no space in car park when I arrived and went round and round looking for space. Left my car in empty area but was not a designated space was not happy to do this but knew I had a deadline to get to my flight.

Having booked and payed for parking at Terminal Surface parking, arrived to find notice that car park was full, and had to park outside designated parking area after spending time looking for parking space.

The NEW meet and greet service was chaotic and added to my stress rather than reduce it. I arrived on time as requested to be met with queuing cars all wanting meet and greet which clearly was not going to plan. We were told just to go and find a car parking space anywhere in the car park. The additional waiting and stress that added, and then having to find a parking space (the very thing I didn’t want to have to do, and had not factored into my timings) meant that I would never recommend using this non existent service. This was at 5.20am - hardly peak time, and I had pre booked for at least a month. I looked on the EDINBURGH airport site for e mail to send complaint to... but only phone number or postal address.

Poor setup after pre booking parking it took over 30 mins to find a parking space as it was full. Luckily we were in plenty time for our flight so it wasn’t a problem! Not sure I’d use this service again.

When leaving machine did not recognize my number plate or ticket!! Had to contact service whose took too long to sort out to let me out of the car park. Totally unsatisfactory as was at 10-30 at night etc. Very disappointed!!!

Pre paid the parking and when we tried to leave the machine wants to charge us £80. Went to the reception and the woman there was rude and unhelpful. Was told to read the instructions. I had read them and followed them. Then at barrier trying to get out was told to pay the ticket and try to claim it back. I will not use this service again the other parking companies are a bit cheaper and more helpful

Don’t use this service, my wife was 1 hour late and got charged £50 excess, even though it was the airline and passport control fault. This is so wrong

I'm extremely not happy with the service of Edinburgh Airport Parking!!! I’m writting to you to complain and claim a refund. I have booked my parking in advance and three weeks ago I went for my holiday. When I came back and tried to leave carpark , I could not. Parking employee told me I was in a wrong parking space for two weeks. And I had to pay on top of my fee £130. So I did it because I was tired and wanted to get home as soon as possible. Now, I just recalled that on the day of my departure it was a busy on the parking. We were ushered and place to park was pointed out by one of your employees! So how I need to pay for mistake of one of your employees? It is outrageous! I have used this parking in the past few times, it was not my first time there. I would like to receive my money back. This caused lots of stress for myself and my husband. I have already sent this complain on your feedback website and have not received any answer yet!!! This is ignoring a customer. your parking is under CCTV therefore you can verify my statement. Please reply asap. Kind regards Malgorzata Kowalska

Booked the airport surface as thought it would be quicker and easier to get into the terminal building! 20 minutes driving around looking for a space nightmare! Also parts closed off with cones wouldn't book this again will stick with the short transfer option

I was unhappy when i went for the bus from returning from holiday. to take me to the car park.i never new they moved the bus return to the car park.so i had to walk to the long stay car park.it took me about 40 minutes.by the time i got to my car i was needing the toilet.i asked one of the workmen if i could get the toilet he said there are no public toilets.so was not happy that i did not no where to get the the bus to the car park.as they moved it from where i used to get the return bus.very unhappy.

Your service ruined my holiday ! I paid £39 to park from Saturday the 15th and I I booked my return for the 22nd Sept at midnight I got to your car park at 00:40 Only to be told i have to pay an extra £38 as I was 24 hours late. Which i was not as I was 40mins late Your staff even said they had caught a few people out. That night This is disgraceful way to run a business I will be making complaint to the GIP about your service especially as your staff member who greeted us changed our time after I arrived as I explained when we were coming home!

its absolutely criminal what they charge for pick up parking. £9.90 for 35 minutes. Leaves a really bad taste in the mouth being ripped off just trying to pick up relatives. I don't know how they can get away with it. It gives the whole of Edinburgh a bad, greedy and unfriendly reputation.

Overpriced and given no on line option of parking on the surface car park without bridge/priority access despite the surface car park being half empty when i arrived at 0530 that morning. Another example of Edinburgh's Airport's tactics to extort money from the car user and passenger while at the same time failing to make improvements to the passenger experience when leaving and entering our wonderful city; poor access road to airport (effectively an old farm road), poor passport control processes (standing in a queue in a poly tunnel), buses from planes to passport control, joke of a taxi system with two types of operators operating in competition with each another in a multi storey car park. A joke!
