Full roads and junctions inaccessible due to cars parked everywhere on double yellows, driving around trying to find an unblocked road out of the car park.

Its disappointing to see that some customers are causing obstructions for other customers, if customers are finding it difficult to find a space we will always provide alternative parking option if they ring the barrier. Absolute chaos!! The car park was majorly overbooked. Cars parked in the road, on bits of gravel, everywhere!!

It’s getting more and more expensive to fly these days, and to be honest it’s a terrible experience . Added to this Edinburgh Airport and others seem to be focused on increasing the cost of parking at the airport just so you can use their services to fly off to a foreign or domestic destination. I also hear the drop off/ pick up charges have gone up again !!! It really does make you think about travelling by air ! I am also wondering when people will start voting with their feet, I know I now travel by train to London when normally in the past I would fly!

Thank you for your review. We always encourage passengers to pre-book parking. We offer car parking pricing for 2 years in advance for different lengths of stay. Our pricing is dynamic and continually changes based on many different factors such as demand, occupancy and lead time making it possible for the pricing to change from booking to booking however, we offer competitive pricing against other providers. After arriving back from my holiday to pick my car up from mid stay car parking which was all paid before we went away I got to gate and they tried to charge me a extra 150 pound. After I explained what happened they let me through but plz watch out just incase this happens to yourselfs

Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

I meant to receive an email following an investigation on what was done on my car during the stay as per I have several faults when I've picked up and after speaking with one of the manager he assured me that he would keep in touch

I booked plane parking and walked for miles and miles. No directions, a path that goes the very very long way round while a bus with nobody on it passed me twice. Unbelievably badly managed and so badly served as a customer.

Thank you for your review. Plane Parking does not have a walking route due to the location however there is a shuttle bus that operates to and from the terminal building/ car park that customers should use. This is also advised on your booking confirmation. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Dreadful. Difficult to park as very busy, then a massive queue at security (which makes paying for terminal parking to save time slightly pointless). To cap it all when I picked the car back up and tried to leave Edinburgh Airport tried to charge me £125 even though I had paid in advance. Thankfully when I pressed for assistance at the barrier the very kind lady opened the barrier after I explained the circumstances. Not worth the money at all and very poorly organised at all levels.

Had two cars parked, one was fine other had to pay extra £4 on gate for unknown reason. Paid rather than having the hassle at 01:00 in a morning

I booked and paid for a three day stay online without a problem. When I picked up the car and went to the barrier, a sign came up saying there was an UNPAID FEE £150. This was nonsense of course. I pressed the buzzer and explained the situation to the man on the other end of the line. He found my reservation and said your automatic car registration sysytem had failed to link my registration to my booking. Big time fuck=up, I think you will agree.

AWFUL - return flight was cancelled so paid to extend parking time, received confirmation email, was then charged £170 to exit

Awful experience / far too many cars for the number of spaces meant they were abandoned everywhere and hard to find a space. The ground is very uneven and hard to push a heavy case along and the endless ramps meant I tripped over a heavy case. The pedestrian route is not clearly marked. Avoid! Worth spending the extra money to have somewhere safe, well run and clear,

I have used this car park several times over the past years but unfortunately the standard and quality of the facility has declined. The courtesy bus service has been stopped. I did not know this until I arrived at the car park. It is a long walk from the car park to the terminal building particularly when carrying luggage. The ground is rough with puddles, at this time, adding to the difficulty negotiating a route with luggage. Cars were also parked indiscriminately on some of the access roads adding to the difficulty reaching the airport terminal. There was also a lack of signage to show where the footpath to the terminal was. One had to start off with guesswork. Signage from the terminal to the car park is also very poor.

Thank you for your review. Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Very disappointed! When we arrived the car park was full, dozens of cars just dumped on double yellow lines. Spent 30 mins driving around searching for spaces. Very lucky to spot a member of Airport staff leaving a space. It was heavy rain when we arrived and the shuttle bus service wasn’t on, drowned rats when we arrived at the terminal.

I'm sorry to hear that you found our car park to be further away than anticipated, as advised on our website the long stay car park is a 12 minute walk to the terminal building. Our car parks are signposted by wayfinding, located in key traffic areas. I’m sorry to hear that you found our wayfinding to be unhelpful. I got a quote on line for £70 for 1 week and 1 day mid stay car park then when I returned at 1am and put the ticket in it wanted £304 Had to pay it as no way at that time there was anyone to argue with Will never use it again

I don't know how I ended up in that carpark usually just across from the multi story one , have to say was disappointed , hunting for a space , not well signed and cars parked up kirbs and verges , lucky found a space or would have to have paid for else where , no way I would leave my car parked up a kirb in no bay !

Very few spaces with lots if cars parked on the road due to lack of available spaces. Walk way poorly marked. On the plus side its a short walk and handy that way. If you can get parked.
