“Parking was fine .. problem was I inadvertently double booked and paid and have hit a brick wall both at airport talking to a human and in e mail response.. to find out if I can have a refund for 1 booking fee”
“Expensive for what it is, and not true "valet parking". You park up, go to building with self serve machines to check in but the staff member on entry to the car park didn't tell us to make a note of the row you parked in so we had to go back and check before we could leave our key. We were pushed for time and the machines ran out of receipt paper (so you can collect your car at tbe end) so had to wait on someone changing it. On exit, barrier didnt recognise our car, called for help, they told us just to take a ticket, got to 2nd barrier to exit airport and it tried to charge us £5, had to call for help again till they looked up our details and let us out. Branded as Fast Park but still took a while to sort compared to other valet services I've used at other airports.”
“Route from long stay to the terminal building is not well signposted, we ended up on a staff/taxi entrance to the building with no pavements. No clear pathway through the car park, resulting in having to carry our luggage, to get past hardcore stone sections or to avoid very large puddles. If there will be no bus service put back on this needs to be greatly improved. Many cars were parked not in parking bays, making access routes difficult. Otherwise, the only positive was it was easy to find the car park in the first instance.”
“Good except you need to sort out the registration number recognition camera at the entrance. It’s been broken for over a month! Which means you get wrongly charged a fortune when you exit!”
“It was not clear whether I was to turn into the Fast Track parking slot. The man at the gate was very helpful though. When it came to leaving , we could not get the barrier to raise and were told tfatvwven though I had paid in advance , we owed £405!!! This was solved with the aid of the Help button and we were released but it was quite a shock !”
“This is the first time we have used this service & I have to say it was good. However on return, when leaving the car park, I inserted my ticket & on the screen, it said I was outstanding £180. Yet I had returned within my pay period. I have to say I panicked when I saw this. Not great guys, your systems need an update. Some poor person may end up inserting their credit card to pay this, especially returning after a long haul & being tired.”
“I couldn't fault the car park itself. It's all good... plenty of spaces available, at a close distance to the actual airport. Well done. But. And this a big but.. if I'm well in the reservation time why can't I just get out without any issues?? I received the ticket from your machines with your barcode and I couldn't get out... Why do I have to call someone to check if I owe you anything (180£ on the display for overstaying apparently)? Why do I have to give you my registration number? Or reservation code?? Isn't there a camera starring at my number plate for the intended purpose of leaving me out without any hassle? Same happened when I was parked at mid stay Luton Airport, same at Stansted Airport. I will be back in January for more of the same. I will eat my words if everything will go smoothly. Should I hold my breath? Or...? Only gave you 3 stars because luckily for me, it wasn't raining while waiting for the barrier to let me out. Imagine a scenario where I have to lean of the window to speak with someone about something that I wasn't guilty of. Did I get a "sorry for any inconvenience"? No. "Wasn't your fault sir" no. "Apologies for the delay" no. For the Time that I spent just to make sure it's all in order??? No. Nothing. "Have a good day, its all good". Really? Far as I know Sorry didn't killed anyone.”
“Booking and parking was fine. When leaving it did try to charge me at the gate £176 for a full weeks drive in stay even though the registration and booking reference were printed on the ticket. I contacted them and they let me through no problem. It was a bit of a mess on after a long flight and being after midnight. Also the signage from the terminal to the car park was non existent”
“Price was great, however number plate recognition didn't work on way in so just took ticket,had to explain to attendant on exit,who was helpful.Also waiting for bus for half an hour not 12 minutes to get to car park at 2 am with no way to contact anyone for information.Driver turned up saying a bus broke down.”
“We were very happy with this airport parking which we were using for the first time.
We arrived back from our holiday, checked in and picked up the car with no problems until we were leaving the parking, we had to pay an extra £4.00 even though we were back within our time? I therefore am not happy with this and would like an explanation and refund from you as soon as possible please?”
“Easy online booking, had to press help button as gate didn’t open after inserting my ticked and screen massage was about being due some money - stuff very helpful though. Path for walking to the airport very poorly next to nothing marked and it wasn’t only me lost to find the way - it has to be improved.”
“Great parking near to terminal. Only thing that let us down was the ANPR didn’t recognise our car so we were left worrying would we get out without charge!”
