“The transfer bus was delayed on our return by a lady who 'held up the bus' to quote the driver. We were consequently leaving at 11.11p.m. and had to pay £32 to leave having already paid £30.99. Not a good experience and it ruined a wonderful weekend.”
“The long-term parking facilities are adequate and the bus sevice to the terminal is reasonably frequent. However, the last time I used the Long-Term car park our advance-booked ticket was not accepted by the barrier machine. While the on-duty staff sorted this out reasonably swiftly, it is not what one wants at the end of a long and tiring trip. The short-term parking is costly for even very brief stays and the fact that there is a charge for dropping off is disgusting - just milking people and providing nothing in return.”
“used edinburgh airport multi-storey car park four times in the last few years.Going in is ok but three out of the four times on our exit we've had barrier drama, and had to push the button to speak to the gatekeeper to be liberated ,is it just me or does the concrete incarceration happen to other hapless travelers maybe take my screwdriver set with me next time just in case

“Airport parking is fine for the price. The walk from car park to airport is not great, not well sign-posted, but literally 5 minutes. Will use again.”
“For an expensive car park, to add credit card charges is an extra 'penalty' for business users
pre pay parking system work well enough with number plate recognition”
“Poor signing meant that I mistakenly had to pass through Drop off and was charged £1 for the privilege
The automatic number reader did not work thus requiring two visits to the parking office where the people behind the window were helpful
The prices charged are extortionate”
“The mid stay parking had poor signage to the terminal. On leaving the terminal the signage was even worse. I followed the sign for the car parks and ended up in completely the wrong place. I had to retrace my steps to find another sign to the right car park. Although I had pre booked and paid for my space, on leaving the car park the ticket machine showed that I had to pay £240. I had to contact somebody through the barrier system and was spoken to by a less than polite gentleman and had to give him my booking reference number to be able to leave the car park. I am sure you can do better.”
“We had booked carparking in the multi-storey, and have been to it several times before. On this occasion we arrived early in the morning, and when approaching by car there are a lot of signs, often quite close together. Several cars had already gone wrong before us and taken the bus lane into the carparking, we managed the correct lane, but then landed in the bottom of the multi-storey in the short term instead of going up the ramp. In other words, just have a look at the number of signs you have to read when entering the airport area!
Secondly going through security, taking off boots, attention should be taken about the elder or disabled walking, I noticed a lady with a walking stick and socks, finding it quite difficult to find somewhere to put her boot back on without having to walk miles! I know security is important, but health and safety should be thought about too!”
“Used airport parking 2 weeks in a row for 4 days. The first week I parked in long stay and it cost me £115. The second week, having been advised by a colleague, I pre-booked terminal surface parking for the same length of time. It cost £53.99. The cost for the first week is ridiculously high in comparison to pre-booking. I also wasn't happy at being charged 1.5% extra for using a credit card instead of cash.”
“Lots of spaces were coned off on every floor which meant finding a space was quite difficult! It would have been more ideal to park on level 2 but due to all the blocked off spaces I had to park on level 4.”
“The parking went well until the end, we had pre paid for our parking but when we came to leave we put the ticket into the machine and it told us we owed £180.00 Needless to say we were shocked and unhappy. The man at the end of the assist button however was fantastic and realising how stressed this had just made us he was calm and helpful, he checked we had paid and then adjusted the machine so we could leave.
It was an unnecessary stress caused by modern technology, however the human being was great.”
“Poor signposting so when we took the wrong turning we had to pay to get out of the drive by lane. When we did find the car park the machine at the barrier did not recognise our pre-booking. So we pressed the button to get a ticket. On thwaway out on our way home we then spent some time at the barrier giving name and car registration number (read off the ticket) before being let out.”
“Signs were unclear as there is about 3 Long stay signs before the correct one. Unclear if we needed to phone for a bus on arrival and on way back and about our pre paid tickets.”
“When put ticket in came up £265 had press button gave guy registration car nothing was coming up gave him my name .I had go into my emails find reference number .This shouldn't happen customers I got shock when that came up .hopefully doesn't happen next time use car park . Other than that service is good guy called Bob was very helpful”
