“As I was going away for a week as I have done before I was wanting to park my car in the multi storey car park . I went on to the website on the Monday and should have booked it then but something came up and I went on the website on Tuesday and the parking had jumped up £10 to £40 for the week which made me decide it was cheaper with a taxi pretty dissatisfied”

“Very disappointed as once again, our numberplate was not recognised and we were issued with a huge parking bill.
This was eventually resolved. This recurring problem is making us look for alternative parking.
Customer service showed no empathy and were dismissive saying it was a problem with our numberplate.
It has happened on four occasions with 2 different cars.”
“Poor signage on arrival ..took wrong lane ..ended up paying to get out!
Then ended up in valet section
Very stressful when catching flight
Inside airport ok”
“The price was extortionate for the 30 hours of parking I wanted. The flight was then delayed tripping my time past midnight pushing the quoted price over £100 ( this was in the Long stay) for 35 hours. I then wasted another hour trying to get someone to speak to me and sort out the ticket, so I could get out without paying the excess
Given there is now no transport to or from the parking area, I was only glad I didn't have my family and suitcases for two weeks abroad, with me while I hiked through the rain to the terminal.
Overall Edinburgh Airport remains one of the poorest for customer service I have experienced in the world including those in the first second and third world.
A giant shopping nightmare where the idea is clearly to extract as much cash as possible for those trapped in the experience.”
“After travelling in nov to new york for a funeral got a great deal for 5 days parking was a day late returning due to klm flight and they charged me £76 double what i paid for my 5 days”
“Ridiculously expensive taking unfair advantage of business travellers who have no option but to take a car to the airport. Furthermore, the pick-up/drop-off fees are penal in the extreme and, again, hurt businesses who have no option when picking up/dropping off colleagues.
In summary, as a traveller who would take c. 200 flights per year pre-Covid, I actively avoid Edinburgh Airport principally because of the parking charges and, equally important, the appalling, penny-pinching check-in facilities.”
“No instructions, when we arrived didn't know what barrier to go through.
Didn't know what section of the carpark to park. I asked staff that were in the car park and they didn't know, they told me to go into the airport.
I ended up going into the airport to ask the security what the procedure was.
On the way home after a 7 day holiday, was unsure how to exit car park. Again no instructions, drove to the barrier gave my name etc and security lifted the barrier.. this took about 5 minutes causing a queue of traffic.”
“My experience of Parking at Edinburgh Airport Parking was horrendous … it was 26th Nov - due to weather ( heavy gales ) I was 11/12 hours over my expected time. I had booked well in advance and thought the charge of around £20 to be reasonable . However on arriving back to collect my car I was charged £130 penalty for being 12 hours over. I paid it but will never ever ever ever use it again - in my opinion it seems to be calculated to catch late returns. Shocking !!!!”
“Edinburgh Airport parking is expensive and dreadful.
1. £4.00 to drop someone off is a disgrace.
2. Cars wait outside airport property at Ingleston as the 5-minute window is too short to pick up a visitor.
3 The turning circle at the payment points means drivers are stretching to pay and the large concrete stantions represent a crash hazard.”
“When I booked the website kept crashing and it took two payments from me. I emailed the company and they told me that it was resolved and I would be refunded one of the payments and there wouldn't be any issues with my booking. When I returned from my trip and tried to exit the car park it didn't recognise my booking and tried to charge me £150. I then had to spend 15 minutes with my hazard lights on blocking one of the exits while it was sorted out. Just what I didn't need with two tired children in the car who just wanted to get home.”
“Paid the premium for multi-storey terminal parking and arrived home to find someone had bashed a dent in our front passenger door and scratched it all the way down :( I contacted the staff and was advised the cameras don't pick up anything on the levels and that you park at your own risk. Won't be doing that again!”

“You double charged me for parking even though I'd prepaid. It was cheaper actually to be there on the day than to prepay for a block of time. A complete ripoff and you are double charging people.”
“Horrendous. Took me at least 25 minutes to find a spot as there had obviously been an over selling of the spots compared to the number of available spaces. I appreciate a number of spot will have been taken up by the covid tasting centre on site, but if that is required then don’t sell as many tickets to park there.”
“I can't believe you are actively encouraging feedback. £4 for an 8 minute drop off window is literally the definition of highway robbery. You ought to be ashamed!”
