“Parking was simple to book & easy to use. We had no problems except remembering where we had parked when we returned from our trip but that is down to our advancing years more than anything. We will definitely use the facility if the need arises in future.”
“Systems were down when we entered thr car park having pre paid. On coming out and into traffic carnage, I was presented with a charge of £280 odd pounds for parking. Got through the barrier without payment having used the intercom but didn’t need the stress of a massive log jam of cars behind me. Also, telhen had to drive back into the airport to pick up my wife and young kids, so got stung with another £6 for entering the drop off zone. We probably could have avoided that had we used a luggage trolley but they also were only available for a fee. Edinburgh airport charges are an absolute joke.”
“For 3 weeks my car was parked at 'Plane Parking'- the first time I used this parking option. It's a short drive from the airport and the shuttle pick up and drop off was quick, the drivers both friendly and I didn't have to wait very long either time for them to arrive.”
“Edinburgh Airport parking is a good idea for anyone going on a short weekend break. It costs the same or less than taking a taxi to and from the airport.
It would be better if cars did not park in the roadway at the end of lines because there are no spaces closer to the airport. Cars should be made to park in official car parking spaces and that should also mean that if you book a parking space then one will be available for you when you arrive.”
