“I pre booked the multi story for 3 nights. On arrival at first barrier, ANPR didn’t recognise the registration number from the booking. I had to take a ticket to access. Then at the multi storey barrier I had to call at the barrier to advise of pre booking for the operator to open. Then on return the departure barrier was asking for £270 despite pre paying. The operator opened the barrier for us to exit. Not a smooth process”
“Straight forward and convenient. Worked out cheaper for 5 days than the public transport cost for the family.
Only feedback is the location link in the confirmation email didn’t work, but written directs are good. The instructions also state you need to take a ticket at entry or will not be able to exit later. Machine didn’t issue a ticket and staff later told us it was all registration recognition. Not an issue but helpful to know if using for the first time, to save anyone panicking about it if rushing for a flight!”
“This is the second time of leaving the car at the multi storey car park and it is the easiest process. It almost works like magic! I get a ticket when I arrive at the barrier, I proceed to a space which is always easy to find. I then proceed to the terminal building safe and reassured that my car will be safe until I return. The automatic fast track through security which comes with my car park booking is hugely satisfying. I highly recommend airport parking to anyone flying from Edinburgh.”
“Although the parking was relatively easy, as it usually is, we were delayed over 48 hours due to West Jet airlines strikes. I tried to extend my parking but Manage my booking would not allow me to extend it. I looked throuh the website but could not find the relavant information to do this. I appreciate we would still have to pay but had hoped to avoid the £150, £50 a day we had to pay.
Also, more signage when you come out at arrivals for Multi storey would be helpful, rather than follow general parking signs which take you downstairs outside across the road and back up!”
