“No eary way to contact, had to email to advise of early arrival but took 5 days to reply and was already in Spain by then. Got to the barrier and my reg wasn't picked up correctly. Spoke to someone and they said to fix when come back. Came back and they wanted to charge me £270. Had to argue but eventually got it resolved. That's why it is only a 2 star rating.”
“I have used this service a few times with no issues, however on this occasion I had pre booked and could not locate a space when I arrived. Although there were signs pointing to apparent "Spaces" when I got there none were available. One sign seemed to be pointing to Multi storey, but I was denied access meaning all vehicles behind me having to reverse. No parking attendants were visible to assist and I found it extremely stressful as the departure for my flight got closer. Eventually I had to leave in a non designated space. Please can you esnure you monitor the vehicles coming in to ensure there is a space for all pre bookings, or at least have someone advising the car park is full at the entry barrier and offer other solutions. Thanks”
“Due to my flight being cancelled by Finair I was delayed for 2 days and therefore late back. The contact phone number on the ticket I received is less than useless I tried it and could not contact a human being to infot of my situation, on returning I was charged £50 which is an obscene charge and your company should be ashamed of its customer care”
“Flight was delayed and baggage was delayed by 1 hr when I arrived. On exit at the car park barrier and additional £12 was requested to exit the airport.”
“No problem until our flight delayed 2.5 hrs by Easyjet. Nothing we could do. Then charged £15 to leave the car park, on top of fee. Felt like we were being held to ransom. Next time i will just build in more time on the return leg which will cost me nothing more at initial booking but will avoid being mugged.”
“It was impossible to find the entrance at first. There are too many long stay signs. Then the ‘P’ and ‘coaches’ (together) sign implies that that road off the roundabout is for coaches. Then again at the entrance there is no similarity with the price paid online and the price quoted on the sign - so no sense that it is the right car park and no sense that the ticket issued will not involve a further charge. We had to ask for help via the intercom.
We had by that time driven round once and needlessly paid £4 for drop off before we took the right turn.
Completely awful signage and completely useless directions when booking the space online.
The fact that the spaces are narrow pales into insignificance by comparison.”
“Pre-booked parking in March for our trip in June. Received confirmation of booking and a free upgrade to the multi-storey. On arrival, parked in the multi-storey as per booking confirmation, only to receive a ticket for a further £266 to leave the car park a the end of my stay. Complaint submitted to Edinburgh Airport for refund. Awaiting feedback.”
“Hellish. Directions poor especially those on road all worn out. Not sure if it said F off or drop off. Lost . Had to pay £4 to get out. Presented ticket said wrong car park. Lost French sounding lady had no idea where to pay - this at almost midnight. Taxi driver suggested asking for help in subsequently discovered pay box by barriers. Thank god for that assistance. No other humans visible You might check if the French lady is still there. John McCulloch”
“The staff at Edinburgh Airport, especially Aaron need some urgent training on how to be pleasant and helpful. They are really letting the airport down.”
“Although the parking location is great, the ANPR picked up my wrong registration number and despite having paid in advance I had an additional £110 to pay at the barrier”
“Attempted to cancel my "refundable terminal" booking due to an Easyjet flight cancellation. Still awaiting confirmation of my emailed cancellation request. Was unable to find a phone number to actually speak to someone.”
“Very unhappy re my recent experience. Very difficult to find a space.previously no problem at the Plane parking car park. Depending on where you find a space walk to terminal is more than 6 -8 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage , trolleys not readily available. in poor weather without a bus transfer, not good.Poor signs to the walkway. On my return journey had to go through a car rental office and cross at the level crossing which was dangerous. If bus transfers are not reinstated ,I will not park here again. I could go on, however have already written an e mail to complain. All in all a very poor experience especially for someone travelling on there on.”
“Over night parking cost ~£70, presumably the extra £15 to get out of the barrier was due to my flight being delayed 2hours and I drove away past 1am, #chooseOffSiteParking”
“I was due to fly but my flight got cancelled, I tried to cancel my parking which was a couple of hours before I was due to park but it would not allow me to, which meant I had to pay for full parking with nothing to show for it - poor service”
“Terminal Car Park was booked for 10 days, but due to our flight being cancelled, we had to leave car park and return home after only 4 hours. Edinburgh airport parking has refused to refund any of our money”
“Not happy at all. My car has scratches on both front doors & I have an app on my phone to tell me when my car is being opened up. This happened on numerous occasions whilst I was away. There was no need for my car to be opened up or moved apart from moving it into a parking bay for the week and then returning it to the front disabled bays for my return.
There were a couple of bits of backy on the centre console of my car too. No one smokes who uses my car so I know for a fact it was not left by us. I have a feeling it was being used to run people about the car park or people have used it to take a break in or something. I am fuming about the scratches on the doors though.
My car should have also been waiting in the disabled bay but instead was parked at the far end of the car park. A parking attendant took my keys & ran up to collect my car for me & he apologised for it not being where it should for me to get straight into.
I thought it was going to be a brilliant safe, easy & secure parking for my car.”
“When exiting the car park and inserting my card I was asked to pay £325 and the barrier stayed down. Reservation and payment was made weeks ago, unfortunately it took some time for assistance to sort things out and exit the car park.”
