I tested positive for COVID and was unable to travel. I found it impossible to cancel. Very easy to book in but impossible to cancel.

I paid for 6 days parking in Long Stay in Long Stay in advance, costing £38.99. My return flight was cancelled by the airline, meaning I had no choice but to stay an extra 24 hrs. I emailed EDI Parking 3 days before I was due to return asking for an extension. They replied stating I had to pay the “Drive Up” fee of £40 for ONE EXTRA DAY, or book another 24hr slot online - which I did and was charged £39.99!! I was fully prepared to pay extra, and some form of premium - but £40 for 24 hrs is really just extortion. It is more expensive than my 6 DAY STAY. This is no way to treat a repeat customer, especially when the airline business should be doing everything to encourage people to fly again. It is scandalous and basically a monopoly, as I had absolutely no alternative option.

I wrote to cancel my booking and ask for a refund because my flight was cancelled by easyjet. I haven't heard back from you. Shocking service, simply a rip off.

The parking itself is good. It’s very close to the airport and secure enough, hence why I’ve given 1 stars. However the arrangements for pre pay and directions to the parking were at best baffling and at worst not really there. The pre pay confirmation email explained nothing about how my prepayment would be acknowledged at the barrier or payment machines. I was perturbed to have to take a ticket at the barrier to get in. I spent rather too much of my holiday niggling how I was going to get out of the car park without having to pay again. On returning I was unsure if I should put my ticket in the pay machine. Only when I saw by chance the ticket had my reg number on did I start to understand the pre pay might be acknowledged. Not just me who was confused as another person approached me with the exact same worries. The other issue was the directions to the parking. This is not helped by vague ‘promotions’ on the email saying I had free upgrade (to what I don’t really know) but I was left with an unease over which car park I was actually supposed to park in. The email instructions combined with the on site ones were vague, complicated, unclear (check out the ‘helpful’ video where you can’t actually distinguish the colours at all clearly). Added to this the uncertainty of what the free upgrade meant for where on earth I should be parking. Plus attempting this at 4am. I ended up in the short stay which I don’t think was on the upgrade list and paid £4 or so for the privilege of trying to get out (I was there less than a minute). Wouldn’t choose your parking again. Wouldn’t recommend. Poor start to a holiday. Unnecessary concern / worry given. I’d appreciate feeling I’ve been listened to and understood plus a refund of the short term parking fee. I then might feel more positive.

Waited 15 minutes at entry to long stay. Chaotic. Only one lane, people trying to reverse out. Every car required manual booking check from attendent on the call button. Each one taking a few minutes to process before being allowed entry.

Needs to be supervised more absolutely awful, quick enough to take the money but provide no space had to park on a curb. Disappointed and will never use again.

When I put my ticket in the machine to exit the car park ( which had been prepaid £51.99 ) I was faced with a charge for £130 . It took ten minutes to sort this out but I did get out in the end without having to pay any more money

Awful and abusive service. When you book online they ask you what time you will be dropping off and picking up your car, yet these don’t make any difference to the price you are charged as they charge you for the whole day. My flight was delayed which caused me to pick up my car at 17:00 instead of 15:00 and had to pay an extra £40 (an extra 24h stay) for those extra 2h on the same natural day. How is it that they charge you for the whole day but then if you are 2h late within the same fay they charge you an extra 24h stay? I tried to explain this to their employee but he never seemed to be interested in anything else that collecting the extra fee. I found this policy appalling and clearly just intended for ripping people off. In addition, there is not any signaled pedestrian way across the majority of the car park and. Mind you, when you finallt get on the badly made pedestrian area, there are many spells where you must guess your way and walk amongst driving cars again. Awful experience, poor service and their extra fees can perfectly be classed a scam. Will not use again.

Arrived at barrier but as I’d prepaid, it wasn’t clear that I also needed a ticket as I’d assumed number plate recognition was being used. I requested assistance but neither my number plate, name or booking reference could be found - eventually I got into the car park but on leaving the whole rigmarole started again. What a complete shambles. Every other airport I’ve used has number plate recognition so why is Edinburgh different???? I would use a taxi next time.

Car park was very busy. Arrows were absolutely useless as they took you to dead ends. No signs to show you which way to walk to get to gate to walk to the terminal buildings. The shuttle bus was so much better.

We turned up to the long stay car park to be told that there were no spaces. We told the man that it was prebooked in Feb and had been paid then. We were then told to park at the furthest away spaces near a hanger. Not happy at all

Directions to the car park were very clear. The car park itself was very close to the terminal building & no issues getting a space. Car was as I left it unfortunately this is where the problems started. As I left & inserted the card at the barrier it asked me for £270. I had pre booked the space at £110 already. So after ringing for help & someone saying they would sort it im still sitting in front of a closed barrier 10 minutes later! Not what I’m looking for after a flight & away to do a 2.5 hour drive home. So again I ring up for someone else this time & im given an apology & the barrier is opened. I think improvements are needed here Edinburgh airport!

No eary way to contact, had to email to advise of early arrival but took 5 days to reply and was already in Spain by then. Got to the barrier and my reg wasn't picked up correctly. Spoke to someone and they said to fix when come back. Came back and they wanted to charge me £270. Had to argue but eventually got it resolved. That's why it is only a 2 star rating.
